Múlaþing : locations de vacances dans des cabanes

So far, our stay at Elsa’s is the most memorable. My son and me enjoyed chatting with Elsa, being greeted by the dogs, then having this whole converted barn / turned living and kitchen space, to ourselves. Being on the farm was so peaceful and with wide open sky. We played cards, listened to great timeless Dylan, Stones, Floyd … music (on the Bluetooth stereo there). If only we had the Aurora that night would’ve been a 6 outa 5!!!

Julia ist eine tolle Vermieterin. Die Kommunikation mit ihr war super.Die Wohnung war sehr schön und sehr gemütlich, so dass man sich gleich wohl fühlen konnte. Die Lage der Wohnung war toll. Eingebettet in die Natur, ruhig und doch schnell von der Straße zu erreichen. Die große Terrasse und der wunderschöne Pool ließen keine Wünsche offen. Die Küche war toll ausgestattet und es standen viele Lebensmittel zur Verfügung. Wir würden sofort dort wieder einkehren.

Absolutely fantastic stay - the perfect break from a lot of road-tripping. Kitchen is fully equipped and loved being able to properly cook for a couple of nights. Felt at home immediately. Definitely didn’t want to leave!

This place is magical! One of the best places I’ve stayed in Iceland and one of my favorite airbnbs of all time. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable and the views are glorious. You can tell how much care Francesca and Giacomo put into these cabins and making their guests comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed, the hot tub was fantastic and we totally loved the sweet little scavenger hunt. Had the pleasure of meeting Giacomo as he stopped by with some treats and to check in on us. This place is really special, we didn’t want to leave!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! Le jaccuzi est parfait pour se détendre après une journée en extérieur. La ville se situe à une dizaine de minutes du chalet.

Jon was very responsive, and he was very accommodating! The home felt comfortable. A couple of things to note, first is the doorways are short. My hubby is 6’3” tall and he hit his head on every door way. And that the only shower is outdoors. I missed that part of the listing. But I’m sure it’s an experience but we did not use it since we only stayed one night. The property and surrounding area is wonderful to explore! Overall a wonderful cozy stay!

Beautiful cottage, and the kitchen was super well equipped as well. We spotted Northern Lights from the Porch in the night. Jakobina was always responsive and helpful and we even had the chance to meet her husband during check out. The house has lil Icelandic charm and books to read as well. The outdoor heater and washing machine were very useful. Could love to come back.

Cozy little cottage exactly as described. Suitable for couples who would like to experience the country a bit but still close to the town that’s just 10 mins drive. Thank you for the hospitality!

The cabin was very nice and clean. There was a microwave which I used to heat up dinner from the grocery store in town. There are three cabins on the property and each I are staggered for privacy. Cabin #3 is slightly more private and has a slightly better view of the mountains. At night I was able to observe the Northern Lights break through the clouds set above the mountains. The cabin is quite modern and clean, not at all run down, and had good water pressure. No complaints at all about the stay, would stay again instead of a hotel in the town.

One of my favourite stays during my trip. it is located away from town, nice and quiet. Caught the nicest display of northern lights during my trip while I was staying here. The whole cabin felt so cosy I could stay there forever if I could. Its location is also conveniently located near a lot of attractions, short drive to Hengifoss for example.

Ein wunderschönes Haus in einem zauberhaften Tal. Wir haben die Ruhe und die unendlichen Möglichkeiten die Landschaft zu entdecken sehr genossen. Sogar auf Rentiere konnten wir einen Blick erhaschen. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.
