Comfortable apartments with necessities in a really beautiful location.

Communication was easy, and Karen made a great effort to make our stay very pleasant. The rooms and the bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is very quiet and a bit remote, but in return, we were rewarded with amazing Northern Lights. We were very satisfied and can give a clear recommendation.

Świetne miejsce na pobyt. Hostel ma fajny klimat, jest czysty i dobrze zorganizowany. Kuchnia w pełni wyposażona. Duża i przestronna część wspólna pozwala na komfortowe korzystanie. Łazienki czyste i zadbane. Okolica piękna i spokojna. Zdecydowanie polecam!

We stayed in a cottage. Elsa is very friendly and personable. We were interested in a sheepskin rug so she showed us her workshop and described the process. It was very interesting

This place was wonderful, right off the water! The cabin was very clean and up to date. We were able to use the kitchenette to make potato soup for dinner! It was really warm despite ice being on the ground. Highly recommend!!

Wer Tiere (Hunde, Schafe, Pferde) mag und ein gemütliches Flair, der kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Anna ist zudem eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Es war wunderbar, nur zu empfehlen!

Beautiful place just off the road. Strongly recommend you to have dinner at the restaurant (5 stars for the food!) The common area is shared so be considerate of other guests. Unfortunately someone started cooking food in the middle of the night and this woke us up of course… Other than that the place was perfect for our visit way out east.

Excellent scenic location. Nice rooms and good shared facilities. Check-in instructions were very clear. Host very kindly met us and did our laundry for us. Definitely recommend staying here.

We came before everyone else, and the quiet and serene landscape was deafening. While it may appear a little dull in bad weather, the calm and beauty of this place is incredible when skies are clear and the winds calm. The Hutt is cradled by rocks and a mountain and is elavated to reveal a fantastic view! The pictures of this place hardly did it justice!

We werden ontzettend warm ontvangen! We voelden ons zeer gewenst, ondanks dat we pas laat aankwamen. We kregen zelfs om 21:00 uur een berichtje of alles goed met ons ging en we het konden vinden. Het huisje is brandschoon, heeft een superfijne douche (wij houden van heet douchen met een stevige waterstraal), het keukentje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden zijn van voldoende ruimte en lengte (wij zijn rond de 182/188 cm) en superschoon! Het is een heel knus huisje dat goed geventileerd is, maar toch ook lekker warm. Het eten in het restaurant is heerlijk en ook het ontbijt is zeker een aanrader! Wij zijn op rondreis en hebben 2 nachten overnacht in Berunes, maar we komen hier zeker weer. Wil je op rondreis of meer van het oosten van IJsland zien, dan is dit echt een perfecte uitvalsbasis. Wij komen zeker weer!

Très bonne soirée et agréable nuit dans cette maison. Les lieux sont calmes, c'est paisible, et nous avons vu des aurores boréales. La cuisine est bien approvisionnée en ustensiles,... La salle de bain est grande. La chambre est toute petite, mais c'est suffisant pour dormir. Le lit est très confortable. Sur 10 logements au total en Islande, celui-ci est celui qui nous a couté le moins cher. Merci pour l'accueil.

Very quiet and cozy guesthouse. Also the host was super friendly and helpful (they even offered to do our laundry, when the washing machine was broken). We can highly recommend this accommodation.
