Our stay was short (one night), but it was wonderful! The barn was clean and homey and the bed was amazingly comfortable! Though somewhat close to the highway, we couldn’t hear it at all. We wanted a place where we could get away from the world for a night, but still be close enough to town. This location was exactly that! We saw some wildlife during our stay which added to the experience. We had a very peaceful and relaxing night at the barn in the woods! If we ever need to “get away” in the future, we will definitely be booking again!

Great hideaway from the city! Can’t wait to go back and stay there again! The hot tub was a definite bonus!!

Worth every penny. Location, phenomenal! So close to the gorge but on top had its own river just in the backyard and the river was stunning. The cabin itself was perfect. Immaculately clean and so cozy and relaxing. Great amenities. Such an amazing deal, I will be back!! If you’re deciding between this and anywhere else, you have my personal guarantee you won’t regret this one!! BEST STAY EVER

We had a wonderful time! The walk down to the creek was a favorite of our girls and we even had one of the alpacas run over to say hi! House was very nice and very well planned out!

The place is excellent, featuring a well-equipped kitchen perfect for a short-term stay. Remember to keep the heater on. While the bathroom is compact, it's manageable. Be sure to have extra quarters for laundry. Parking is readily available, and there's a trail within walking distance, ideal for jogging. Note that there are no restaurants nearby, so having a car is essential, although a bus station is also nearby for trips downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home! So cozy. It was very well stocked with everything we needed and if there was a need, Van or Laurie were right there to help, or bring what ever it was we needed. Wonderful hosts!!! Plenty of games, books and channels on the television to keep you busy! And a very peaceful neighborhood for walking your dog. Just a little walk to the lake and a sweet little dock to sit on and just chill. So peaceful! And if you’re up for a game of Pickleball, really great Pickleball court right in the backyard. We really didn’t want to leave, so next time we need a home away from home, this is where we will be staying.

Wonderful! Very peaceful despite being in a busy area of Portland. This was our second time visiting the area and this area of town is just too perfect! If you want to stay in a cute walkable area this is the perfect spot. Tons to do and eat you could go without a car. The space itself is very clean and cozy. The best decorated place I have stayed ever! Lots of natural light throughout and the bedroom is able to get really dark with the blinds. 10/10 spot

One of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed in. Miranda was super awesome and accommodating to our requests. We would definitely book again. My boyfriend and I are runners and this was a beautiful neighborhood to go running in. We are also not big city people - so this was a perfect spot away from all that nonsense but not too far from great restaurants and little shops/grocery stores.

Very thoughtfully designed, equipped, and provisioned. In a very quiet neighborhood a leisurly walk from Sandy and Broadway. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating. And zero pointless kitsch! Bonus points for having a compost bucket and instructions as well as professionally sharpened knives.

What an excellent place to stay. Jodi has thought of everything. Every time I wondered whether she had a certain kitchen tool or other item, it would show up. I felt right at home. When I mentioned that I was missing a water filter, it appeared on my doorstep the next day!

This cottage was charming, private, and well appointed. The description was accurate with the one exception being that the kitchen was renovated and is even better than stated (definitely not a bad thing - and the host was upfront about it!). If you’re looking for a cozy cottage that’s easy to get to and will give you a nice quiet place to rest - look no further!
