We were very happy staying at Clew Bay. The place was spotless, beautifully an cosy decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was super cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. A car would be reccommended though. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in a breeze and even offering local recommendations that made our trip extra special. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

The apartment was all that we hoped for. It is located blocks from the heart of old Galway, is a comfortable apartment, and has a well stocked kitchen (we like to cook). Joan was proactively communicative and there were even some treats in the refrigerator when we arrived. We are touring around Europe; working during the day and tourist-ing on weekends and this apartment worked perfectly. It was a wonderful, four block walk to our shared work space (Market Street PorterHouse). The walk brought us right through old Galway, the folks at PorterHouse were so helpful when we needed anything, and we were able to take beautiful walks through the streets or along the canal when we needed a mid-day break. We were also just blocks from the train station when it was time for weekend excursions.

We loved staying in this fun and stylish apartment. It has everything you need and was really quiet (we went to bed at midnight and no noise from the pub). The pizzas downstairs in the Tav are so good and we all slept great. We’ll be back again for sure!

I found the cottage a delightful, comfortable, well equipped and a relaxing place to stay. Mary was very welcoming and helpful in every way. For peace and quite set in beautiful riverside surroundings, I would highly recommend it.

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour chez Stephanie. Nous l’avions avant tout sélectionné pour son emplacement privilégié au centre de Galway et il a entièrement satisfait nos attentes ! Qui plus est, il était très agréable et propre, une excellente literie avec les King size, belle décoration et très bien équipé. Parfait pour notre séjour où nous étions 3 couples d’amis à la découverte de Galway. Stephanie nous a aidé pour le parking à proximité qui lui aussi est une bonne adresse pour se déplacer facilement avec la voiture de location, proche du logement. Un logement à conserver dans les favoris, Merci Stephanie !

Terrific homey atmosphere with all the kitchen and other amenities for a very pleasant stay. We stayed a week and weren’t ready to leave… will be back again.

Jackie is a great host, very thoughtful and responsive. Great suggestions for things to do. Rose Meadow cottage feels completely modern without losing it's old farm building roots. Spotless is an understatement, it was one of the cleanest places I have stayed at! Jackie really thought through how to take full advantage of the building, you have everything you need but there is no clutter. The location is great too, you can see the Atlantic over the hills dotted with cows and horses. If you want dinner out you're close to all the goings on in Lahinch. If you want some great traditional Irish music Doolin is a short drive too! You're right down the road from great hiking with the Cliffs of Moher and the coastal road to Fanore and the Burren. If you want to explore County Clare this is a great place to stay.

We really liked our whole experience with our stay at Pauline and Toby’s. They were very hospitable and helpful with our luggage. The apartment was great for getting around Clifden.

The most beautiful stay at Sheila’s lovely apartment, fantastic location and beautiful decor with some brilliant paintings! Two minutes walking from lahinch and delicious food options nearby. Sheila was a lovely host, very attentive and helpful, I cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a lovely stay at Debbie and Stuart’s place! The place was very spacious and had everything we needed for our week long stay. It’s also super close to major sites such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren trails which was very handy for us.

A wonderful stay with everything we needed! we loved having access to a kitchen to cook and a living space to relax and watch the tv in after a long day exploring the area. The whole apartment was comfortable and clean and in a great spot to jump in the car and visit many places nearby. We were greeted with a friendly hello when we arrived and some great tips but for the rest of the time we had our own space. Great communication and a great stay. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at Shane's place, only a 10 minute drive from Westport town, the house is perfectly equipped and very comfortable! Self check-in/out, which made things flexible and Shane was very accommodating. Would highly recommend a stay there for anyone looking to explore Westport and Achill Island!

Host Derrick and his place get 5 stars! Derrick is friendly, thoughtful and responsive. We've stayed over four months, and any time we had a question or issue of any kind, he came right over and sorted us out. The unit itself is clean, quiet, and perfectly comfortable. It was exactly as advertised, with two full bathrooms and bedrooms. The view of the quay/bay is lovely, and walking/running/biking paths abound. We did not bring or use a car, so the Centra grocery store up the hill (two blocks away) was very handy. We could get almost everything we needed from there. Excellent stay!

Valerie was so kind and attentive, helping us out whenever we needed. The flat was great and just what we needed, with lots of local amenities! We loved the local cafe - the neighbourhood cafe was gorgeous. Such an easy trip into Galway city - the bus is very convenient. Overall great stay, thanks Valerie!

I’m totally satisfied! This was a lovely place to stay for a weekend in Galway. My travel companion and I enjoyed having separate beds (pull-out couch in the main room). The apartment is pretty and well-located in the quiet West End area of Galway, so we had easy access to great restaurants and could sleep well. Ernie recommended the live traditional music in The Crane Bar just a few doors down, which we really enjoyed. The coffee, tea, bread, jam, and milk provided were also very nice; we bought more supplies in Ernie’s market downstairs. The code entry worked perfectly every time, and Ernie was always responsive and helpful. A great place to stay.

We loved our stay here! Cozy place that made for a great 3 day stay in Galway, which was the midway point in our road trip around Ireland. Everything you need is walking distance but the apartment was very private and quiet. Having the laundry machines was an added bonus for us as we packed light. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Rory even came out to meet us on the sidewalk as we had a little trouble finding it (our fault, not their lack of instructions lol). On our last night our son got sick (too many oysters) and although we cleaned everything we could, we still managed to ruin a linen or two. They were incredibly kind and understanding. The only minor annoyance is the parking, but we pretty much ditched the car on a free side street and didn’t drive it until we left. Highly recommend getting over to Crane’s Bar on a Thursday night for the storytelling and live trad music. We brought our 10yo and it was really special to experience.

The place was fantastic and exactly what my wife and I needed after driving through the country side for a few days. It’s in a perfect location to walk to the city center and Quay Street for food and drinks. The balcony was perfect for watching the ships come and go and for a little bit of a view when winding down. Would recommend to anyone needing a comfy place to stay a few days in Galway.
