The location was exactly as described and pictured. It even had a trampoline - which wasn't listed but was a surprise hit with the children. There was a lovely welcome package when we arrived with the satellite radio playing softly. We felt immediately at home. The location is stunning. We went kayaking, fishing, hiking, and enjoyed evening fires. The beach was gorgeous and the house was well equipped. The kitchen literally had everything you might need. We did have a question regarding the water quality and testing (notes stated it was spring fed and I wanted to be sure the water was potable as there was bottled water provided in the fridge) but did not receive a reply from the host when we enquired. Lots of towels, bedding was nice, and dogs were welcomed. For an active family with young children it was a wonderful place to spend a fall weekend.

We loved our stay! The bed was so comfortable, really appreciated all the little extras (coffee, milk, cereal, fruit). Felt very safe and hosts always checking in to make sure everything was up to par. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was lovely! Such a unique layout and conveniently located close to the beach, and sandwiched between the amenities on either side of Isle Madame. A quick jaunt to the restaurants in either direction. The sound of waves crashing on the shoreline could be heard all night long in a peaceful way, and Shelley and Julien were responsive and helpful when we had a question. The chickens in the backyard were a great addition, as well as the deer who came to visit our front lawn.

Angela’s sweet Acadian cottage gave us a quiet break away from family and work life. Enjoyed checking out the lighthouse and Assumption Church.

This was the perfect end of summer vacation for my family. The location was exactly as described and could not be more perfect for the peaceful getaway we had been hoping for. We had plenty of options for things to do during our stay. It worked out perfectly Isaac Harbour/Goldborro Days, and Sherbrooke Village Havrest Festival had been happening in communities nearby. Giving us plenty of excursion options. Dianne was very quick and responsive to any questions we had. Thanks again Dianne!

Great little place for a great price. It had everything we needed and was nice and clean. Sunset was spectacular. Would definitely recommend for a great "glamping" experience.

The Main View was a great stay for us and our friends. The house is exceptionally clean and well stocked with all the comforts of home! It is conveniently located in the town, while still having a fantastic view over the water, both from indoors, and out on the patio/firepit. We were fortunate to have sunny days to sit out and relax. We'd certainly consider going back sometime.

I really enjoyed my stay here while I was working. It is such a cute and beautiful home, I loved all the natural lighting and how cozy the wood stove made it feel. I will definitely be trying to book here again if I am lucky. She books up so fast! The road driving up to the house is a little rough - but what do you expect on some back roads - I never had any issues or got stuck, just something to be aware of, especially when it is muddy.
