We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Kevin and Mandy's home was amazing! It had everything you could possibly need for a long stay (from a stocked kitchen to tooth brushes and beach supplies), they even thought of the things someone could forget to bring. Both were super attentive, responsive and kind. Their home is in a perfect location, the beach was super clean and family friendly. It was clean and well decorated, with more than enough space for our large family. We were so grateful to have had the opportunity to visit and hope to someday return. Kevin and Mandy went above and beyond any other host. Our family highly recommends this home! Thank you both for everything!!

Great location and views! We spend most of our time on the water so having the boathouse so close and hardly any steps was a huge plus! I like a lot of places in Lake Gaston. Very easy to go back and forth to the house (we are always forgetting things.) Huge bonus having a refrigerator on the dock. The house was beautiful, comfortable beds and linens, very large kitchen with plenty of room to cook. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large deck. Great long weekend all around.

Spacious and beautifully-updated and furnished home with peaceful views of the lake. Comfy beds, soft sheets, well-appointed kitchen, and lots of towels. Glenn was extremely responsive and flexible with our group’s check-in and check-out. We especially enjoyed the fire pit on a chilly evening under a bright supermoon over the lake! Appreciated the many amenities, including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and even fire starters.

We met Sabrina upon our arrival and she was very kind and caring and made us feel right at home. We were present with a lovely home to stay in and enjoy our family. Thank you, Sabrina.

Like the description, it is a peaceful paradise! Outside has beautiful sunrise, and amazing open water views. We took great photos just form the front yard. Inside has artistic decorations. It is truly a unique property. The three-night stay is just too short for us to enjoy all the amenities and to have enough time to talk with Alan and Nora. Will come back again!

Clean, comfortable, bright and relaxing house with great lake views. Had everything we needed. Spent 2 mornings playing disc golf in the area, but other than that, there was no reason to leave the property. Kristen was a great host with great communication. Would love to visit this spot again!

Tranquility was just what we were hoping for. The house and grounds are lovely and looked just like the photos. The view from the deck is amazing!! This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, which we did! Michael is a wonderful host, anticipating almost anything you might need. The house was spotless and has all the amenities you could ask for. It's also a great location for day trips to other areas. We couldn't have asked for anything more and would definitely stay there again.
