Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Belle Terre Chateau was only minutes from downtown Helen and was great for a large group; in our case, we had 7 adults and 3 children. We used this place as our base in Helen, fixing food in the kitchen or getting take out from the restaurants in Helen, which were expectedly overrun in the days between Christmas and New Year's Day. Bedrooms were as advertised; one connects oddly between the master and the front hallway. Four-person hot tub was great for morning coffee wake-up. A few other nits typical of AirBnB rentals during the holidays: - Cleaning was not complete before 3:00 PM. (Late cleaning was non-issue as we arrived after cleaning finished.) - Previous guests left garbage disposal jammed and indicated non-existent problem with Keurig coffee maker. (Kathryn arranged fix to disposal. We determined coffee maker was fine.) - The lock box on the door to the basement confused us. (We ignored it.) Would return if visiting Helen again.

This has been yet another amazing stay!! We have reserved this Air B&B for 3 years now and each time Nina has provided an incredible and hassle free experience. Full of amenities, a complete kitchen arrangement, a quiet driveway and amazing views, this Air B&B has countless things to compliment and I’m happy to say we will continue using it as long as we can <3 It has gone from a vacation home to an ACTUAL home, just far away from our regular one.

We had the most relaxing time staying at the Toccoa Riverfront Cabin. It was so peaceful to be alongside the river and yet be minutes away from restaurants, shopping, etc. Each day, a couple of geese came in along with a mallard duck pair. With the crystal clear water, it was cute to see their little webbed feet swimming in the water. We especially appreciated being able to bring our "fur babies" who also really enjoyed staying at the home. We slept amazingly in the upstairs bed. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone & would absolutely consider returning again.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful and my children really loved the pool and hot tub.

This place was perfect for our needs. It is located in a beautiful area and was very private. The swimming pool was amazing! The kitchen was fully stocked. There were several restaurants close to the house and I highly recommend Steelhouse Corner. We were able to go on a train ride to Copperhill and loved that experience!

Immaculately clean! We are very selective renters and this place went above and beyond expectations. Came to relax and we achieved that! It was quiet with plenty of privacy. The views were amazing, even with the water receded this time of year. Close to town without the feel of being close to town. Would definitely stay again!

The house is BEAUTIFUL , kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to cook and the view was BREATHTAKING!! Plenty to do with 5 littles at the house. They enjoyed the game room and trampoline. The weather was cooler so we did love the outdoor fireplaces, hot tub and did some fishing on the dock. Unfortunately the pool was out of service during our stay and we were unable to utilize due to the cool weather and also it being under construction. I’m sure in the warmer months it is worth it. If you are looking for a place to stay on Lake Blue Ridge, this is it!

Always a 5-star place to stay. We have family in Franklin and always want this house and are very disappointed if it is already taken. Quiet, peaceful location. Easy to get to. It's always neat and clean, decorated so beautifully. Plenty of amenities. We've stayed in other houses (when we couldn't get this one) and the host only provided 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry pod, 1 trash bag, etc. - certainly not enough for a weekend. Cherisse is always available and helpful. A perfect host.

We loved being able to travel with our dogs. The backyard was beautiful we enjoyed sitting on the deck as well as letting the dogs run free in the woods in the back! She was very responsive and a great host.

A lovely, relaxing home in Sky Valley! We really appreciated the natural light coming through the skylights during the day and the cozy feel throughout the home. The loft area also creates a nice sense of connection with the main living room area.

The property was absolutely beautiful! We loved walking along the creek to the water fall with our toddler. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Joe was very good with communication if I ever had questions. The location was only minutes from town so while it felt as if you were in your own little paradise you were never far from all the action. Things that sealed the deal for us: -The amazing screened in porch. We spent many days out there playing games with our coffee and relaxing. - The handicap accessible entrance and bathroom. We traveled with a 91 year old and this property was PERFECT for her needs.

Wonderful Stay at Bettina’s House! I had the pleasure of staying at Bettina’s house in North Carolina, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. Bettina’s hospitality is unmatched—she went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable during my stay. The house itself is charming, cozy, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail in every room made it feel both stylish and inviting. The location is perfect, nestled in a peaceful area with beautiful surroundings, yet conveniently close to all the local attractions and amenities. Bettina was always quick to respond to any questions I had and provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities nearby. Her warmth and kindness truly made the experience stand out. If you’re looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in North Carolina, Bettina’s house is a fantastic choice.

Had a really nice stay at this home for our annual trip with the dogs to the mountains. The pups were in love with the open land to run and play. It was truly a cozy space with a lot to offer. We enjoyed the various activities set up around the property. Waking up to the beautiful mountain view never gets old!

If you come to Helen this is the place to stay! Lynette was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The house was immaculate and just as the pictures show. We were in Helen celebrating my Mom’s 80th birthday and this was the perfect spot. Our weekend was fabulous and the Helen Waldhaus was fantastic. We all loved the many game options and attention to detail throughout the house. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Willie’s place. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful for booking to check-in to check out. The place was spotless and had every amenity we needed. The arcade game was a great bonus. The location was perfect since we had an event right across the street at the Convention Center. Do not be deterred about the location, since it is in a trailer park and it is dark at night. We felt extremely safe and both hosts were just a phone call away. I will definitely stay again.

This is an excellent Airbnb. Has everything you might need and a little more. Good location, clean, good communication. No complaints. This is what Airbnb should be.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with our family. Even with the rain we had a wonderful time. We loved the smaller cottage for us older folks. Some peace and quiet from the grands! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We thoroughly enjoyed the large fireplace. So warm and cozy! The large Christmas tree and decorated mantle was a beautiful addition to the holiday spirit. Thank you again for sharing such a special place!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

We had a great stay at blue harmony! It was the perfect location, easy walk to the downtown area and super close to the country store which had everything we needed! Plus 4 easy parking spots! House was nice and big and really nice and recently well done, beds were super comfortable and overall the perfect space for 3 adult couples and 3 kids. You’ll need to restock on basics like paper towels, dishwasher pods, toilet paper and trash bags but it didn’t hinder our stay. Also note that there’s no TV in the living room (only the bedrooms but we had fun playing games!), 1 towel per person - so bring extra if you use more than one, and only 6 seats at the kitchen table. We loved this place and can’t recommend it enough! Wish it was warm enough and not raining so we could’ve used the fire pit!

Great place to travel between cities and visit Smoky Mountains. Nice, quiet area and the trails on the property were great. Rita's place had everything you need for a home away from home. We'll stocked for cooking meals and great resturants nearby. We recommend a ride on the Smoky Mountain Railroad!! Thank you Rita for sharing your home..

Secluded and peaceful, exactly what we needed for our getaway. The cabin was beautiful and cozy and the hot tub and fire pit were nightly activities. 15 minutes out from downtown there was always something to do. Definitely saving this listing and coming back.

What an incredible cottage. We booked last minute and were SO pleased. We hike, hike and more hiking so having a clean and comfortable place is always number 1. The home was peaceful and quiet and bright (big windows to see the beauty outside). The home was clean and had everything anyone could need. There were amazing instructions - never had to wonder. You could tell so much love and attention went into the home. We treated it just like our own and hope to be back. Great location not far from Hayesville or Franklin. The area is an outdoors paradise. Every cooking thing you could think of. Made cooking dinner so easy. The beds were comfortable and the master even had a fan - which I love. My husband left his phone charger at home. Joan even had one for his phone. Books to read and games and beautiful bird feeders to watch. Such a beautiful place. I so appreciated the no cleaning fee. We gave traveled all over and this one is one of the BEST! Thanks, Joan!
