The primary reason I booked Meighan's place was for the view, and it did not disappoint! There were some minor concerns but the convenience and overall comfort of the cabin outweighed those issues. Definitely recommended! Many thanks for providing a thoughtful and comfortable experience!

This place was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay, including plenty of firewood! The house and amenities were easy to navigate, the light switches were all labeled! One thing that stood out was the smell of the towels and linens. I usually expect scratchy towels that have a bleached smell. These were soft and smelled like they were fresh out of the dryer. Great host and I will definitely book this property again!!

This is your grandma’s house. 🥰 I was just waiting for my grandma to walk through. The look, the smell, the cozy and comfy feeling. The host provides a free bottle of wine. As of March 2025, the host required a security hold of $1000 or a non-refundable deposit of $45. I would stay here again if I needed an entire house. There’s so much room and it’s very clean!

Great cabin for making family memories. Super cozy, great layout and just remote enough but close proximity as to be convenient for groceries and downtown activities. Would definitely return!

Sam was great and responsive to our questions. We enjoyed the hot tub with lights at night and the views. The amount of towels were definitely appreciated. FYI, reviews are correct about how the downstairs bedroom (the one with a single full bed) gets no heat so it got pretty chilly down there (this being posted in March). The upstairs has the king bed and bunk bed and those were fine.

The location was unique and amazing. It was remote and very peaceful, away from all the fast paced norms of life but still close enough to have the amenities of a small town with shops and restaurants. Close to the river where it was great for fishing and seeing wildlife and just a general walk in the evening. Lauren was incredibly responsive and the house itself was great with a great layout for the family and many places to enjoy. If you are looking to get away from the stresses of everyday life (still have wifi if you need to check your emails etc.) this is the place for you, you won't regret it.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was just as pictured. The space was perfect for my husband, teenage daughter, her friend, our small dog, and me. We enjoyed the short walk to downtown and the even shorter walk to our favorite brewery (Grumpy Old Men). We will definitely keep this property on our list for future trips.

Very peaceful. Would not recommend a lower car. Bring your SUV/Truck to get up the driveway. It's a gravel drive and you could make it with a car, but your car won't be happy about it. Other than that, very very nice cabin.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was clean , and had enough space for me and my wife to stretch out. The amenities (although we didn’t get to use them due to rainy weather) were set up nicely , and ready to use. One thing I always take note of is if the house looks lived in. Most places you have to buy a spatula, and forks , but this house came fully equipped with everything we need to make meals such as pots and pan, salt , pepper and utensils. We had such a great time here, felt safe, and accommodated . We will definitely return, and recommend!

This was a great spot for a couple night stay for a work trip. Wish we had more time to enjoy the amazing views from the cabin, but the cabin was so comfy in the evenings and felt like home after a couple long days. It had everything we needed and was very clean. Melanie was proactive in sending very helpful instructions to guide us to the location and was super responsive with any questions. Thanks for the great couple of nights!

Almost Heaven was exactly that! Our family wanted a quick, close getaway for spring break and this was the perfect place. We fell in love with the cabin/house. Perfect layout, beautifully decorated, beautiful view. My favorite spot was the side porch with fireplace!! It is a little far from town, it takes 25-30 min to get to Ellijay and 40-45 to get to Blue Ridge but if you don't plan to run back and forth to town then it is well worth the view, peace and quiet. I could stay without leaving!! Everything was so comfy and cozy! It was very clean and felt brand new. Every detail was perfect and the Host spared no expense with furniture, decor and amenities. One of the most beautifully done cabins we've stayed at and we've stayed at quite a few. Thanks to our Host for such a lovely stay!

Fantastic spot with all the amenities and more. The game room was great and the kitchen was well appointed. Comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. The pictures don’t do the lake view justice. Will be back!

You can tell this cabin was built with intention, everything is right where it’s suppose to be! Very clean and well maintained. We stayed 2-nights while working a job site in Ellijay. 8 guys in total, we grilled out and enjoyed ourselves in the evenings. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, eat, hangout, and shower! We sincerely enjoyed our stay. We’ll book this cabin again in the future! (without all the working) Thanks Garrett!

Overall we had a great time! The only bumps in the road came at the begging of our trip. The gate code, door code, and wifi password were all wrong. We had to drive back up the hill to get cell service but luckily they had an automated message that gave us all the correct information. The only other slight problem was that the grill was listed as a charcoal grill but it was propane so don’t waste your money on getting charcoal. Other than those minor issues we loved everything about the place. It was secluded and we could hear the stream down the hill. They had plenty of dry wood for us to use for the fire. The hot tub was fantastic and very clean (as was everything else).
