Nice beautiful house located away from the city and in a very peaceful location. The host and his mother was always responsive, friendly and ensured that our stay was memorable. The host arranged the transportation for our local sight seeing. The rooms were neat and clean and exactly matched the description. Nice place to stay.

Spacious, clean and beautifully appointed property! Many of the best restaurants are situated close by and few are at a walkable distance. Auto rickshaws are easily available nearby. There are a couple of mom n pop shops from where you can get the essentials. Hosts had stocked coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper which was very thoughtful of them. Washing machine provided at the property helped us to go back with a bag full of clean clothes and I feel it's a big value add. Will definitely stay here again!

The place is really nice and great way to enjoy nature. Deepak’s father and uncle are great hosts. The food preparation was very good and made as per our requests. The property tour was very nice. The place is good for large group outing. Deepak also shared local sightseeing recommendations and those were also good. I will surely recommend the place for those who want to get away from large city hustles for quick de-stress. I wish room windows had nets so that one could keep them open if needed without fear of insects getting inside.

When you enter it you immediately feel the island vibe. Doc and his 4 dog buddies are the reason that makes the place even more magical. He's willing to tell you everything about the island and the Indian traditions like Theyyam and Kalaripayattu. Also willing to answer all your questions, especially the ones about coconuts; he's the coconut master. And he gave us an inside look into the real Kerala. We stayed in the Matsya house; it was cozy, comfy and clean. The house looks exactly like the pictures on air bnb. You can really see his artistic influence in the house. Besides all of this; the served food prepared by a chef is so finger-licking delicious, 3 times a day you feel like you're in heaven. We'll definitely come back for some liming, nalla. Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

Ashit thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful done up home. The experience of the house was extremely good. However, not much to do around except the sunsets and walk on the beach. The beach obviously is not safe to swim. But it was a nice quiet getaway and our pet loved it too.

Joshua's home is truly amazing. I felt right at home while being 2000km away from it. The amenities are well maintained and the property is located at the heart of the city making it extremely convenient to order food and exploring near by temples and churches. Our host was extremely helpful and welcoming as well. The property is decorated beautifully with an eye for detail. I definitely recommend the listing.
