We are the family with 12 years old boy, stayed for a week. Excellent location for such kind of vacation. Great restaurants nearby and just 100m walk to the sea. Intercity bus station in 1 km, you can take taxi, but it's a pleasant walk. Recommended!

Stratos is a great host - he welcomed us with Christmas decorations and traditional cookies and wine! The apartment has beautiful seaview and its short walking distance to the old town

Absolut empfehlenswert!! Alles war sauber, die Unterkunft war grösser als erwartet. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen mit einem Willkommensraki und Biscuits. Restaurants, Cafés und eine Bäckerei sind in der Nähe, der Strand ist in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass es Strandutensilien wie Sonnenschirm und Spielsachen für Kinder gibt, eine Kaffeemaschine mit feinem Kaffe und zwei Balkone. Die aufgehängten Bilder sind ausserordentlich schön und geben der Wohnung einen authentischen Stil. Vielen Dank!!

Sara e Giovanni squisiti! Bellissimo soggiorno, zona fantastica. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, il ristorante è una chicca, si mangia divinamente. La sera, a bordo piscina, seduti al ristorante, c'è un atmosfera magica, una pace per i sensi. La nostra bimba si è innamorata della piscina! Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie mille

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, mit allem was man braucht. Direkt am Strand. Blick vom Balkon ist einfach traumhaft, wir haben es genossen jeden Morgen da zu frühstücken. Das Auto konnte man problemlos auf der Straße abstellen. Würden die Wohnung jede Zeit wieder buchen ohne wenn und aber.

Absolutely fabulous penthouse apartment with a magnificent terrace and wonderful views. Super beach literally just across the street and close to a range of local restaurants…… can’t recommend enough!!😀

L’appartement est très bien placé, tout peut se faire à pied. Il est spacieux, lumineux et calme. Jenifer est une hôte très réactive avec plein d’attentions pour nous, café, gâteaux et fruits nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Elle est de bons conseils pour les visites et les restaurants alentours. Je conseille vivement.

Sometimes it’s such a cliché to say “the photos did not do it justice “ but this is one of those rare occasions when it really does apply.. The Villa Tile is the perfect place for a couple or small family and has everything within a few metres.. the beach literally is on you back door step, next door is a beach bar with a pool which you are welcome to use. The hosts went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us during our stay, even undertaking some emergency sewing and pillow adjustments when we said that the pillows were a little too firm for our liking… We are already planning to come back in May 2025 and hope to use the Villa Tile again.

What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

We had a delightful stay at this charming Airbnb. Upon our arrival, the host prepared a delicious fresh salad from her garden and gifted us oranges from her trees. It was the best fruit and vegetables we had during our time in Crete. On our departure day, her husband also made us a traditional breakfast dish, which was a wonderful treat. The absolute highlight was the Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed every evening.

On our first day in Crete we arrived at Georgios’ place. And it felt right at home. Gerogios welcomed us with a smile and even though we were a bit late because of a misunderstanding, we didn't feel any problem. The rooms were big and pleasant, Netflix and ps for the kids, lovely balcony to sit in and feel the breeze, and the kitchen had all we needed. The location is amazing, just a few steps walk to a beautiful beach with clear calm waters and nice sand for the kids to play in. along the beach there are many options for small restaurants with sun beds. the town was also a lovely place to walk in. a great experience in every aspect. totally recommend!

Giannis and Maria's place is the perfect holiday place if you're looking for peace of mind, quiet and privacy, an amazing beach and tavern in walking distance, and the beautiful city of Chania just 20 minutes away, with all you can ask for! We highly recommend this warm and spacious home with beautiful views, and will definitely come back!

It feels like home as soon as we arrived at Grigoris's place. We were welcomed by Christina (Grigoris mom, hope we got the name right). Christina was super friendly and helpful through our stay. She brought to us some home cooked Greek pastries and biscuits next day and we loved them. The house looks and feels better than the photos. Beautiful sea view in a quiet area. We felt so relaxpastIt has everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Great place for a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back. Lots of lovely memory. Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

Jos nautit omasta rauhasta ja luonnosta, tämä paikka on sinun. Kaikessa henkii kreeetalainen, paikallinen kulttuuri. Nikos ja hänen tyttärensä Eleni olivat hyvin avuliaita, jos heräsi jokin kysymys tai tarve. Läheistä kalaravintolaa pitää kalastajan perhe, nautimme kovasti hyvästä, tuoreesta kalaruoasta.

Argyri and her husband were the best hosts I've ever stayed with, and the apartment was absolutely flawless: excellent location, close to the old city, restaurants and the beach The apartment had absolutely all the facilities: there was nothing we needed and not exist in the home. Furnished modernly and with great taste, the apartment is bright and welcoming, with a large terrace where you can drink coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The hosts welcomed us with a cake, with fruits, wine and juices in the fridge, and upon departure they gave us local honey. Very friendly, they spent time with us and explained to us the best places to eat, what to visit around the city and in the city. it was everything I could have wished for and I can't wait to come back for a much longer period with my daughter. My boyfriend and I visited during Christmas time(2024). She had filled the apartment with Christmas lights and decorations, which after a long day of traveling, immediately put us in the holiday spirit. She was very easy to communicate with and after learning of my boyfriends love of pizza she provided us with a personalized list of the best pizzas around town. There was also a booklet in the apartment with a rundown of the city(history, restaurants, sightseeing, etc) which is helpful to anyone visiting from another country. Would definitely come back to Chania as well as this apartment! Thank you Katerina!

Chrisi ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin! Sie war jederzeit hilfsbereit und immer gut gelaunt und freundlich . Die Wohnung ist perfekt für Ausflüge , aber auch perfekt zum Strand um die Ecke. Dazu ist alles vorhanden , was man zum Leben braucht und es gibt sogar eine kleine Flasche Raki im Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung. Wir werden wieder mal hierher kommen!! Brigitte und Peter

What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay! The appartment was even bigger than it seemed according to the pictures. Everything was clean and cosy! Although it was the end of the touristic season, we’ve enjoyed Rethymno and its surroundings. The only downside was the noice at night, so we couldn’t sleep with the windows open, but there was airco available.

Das Apartment liegt in einer tollen Lage zwischen zwei sehr schönen Stränden und nicht allzu weit vom Flughafen entfernt oder für andere Ausflüge mit dem Auto. Man kann hier noch den typisch griechischen Charme erleben - in den Tavernen am Meer oder im nahe gelegenen Supermarkt. Das Apartment selbst ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht! Sogar 1 Flasche kalt gestelltes Wasser und die nötigsten Dinge zum Kochen (Öl, Salz, Zucker, Kaffee) sind vorhanden! Dimitris war darüber hinaus sehr freundlich und half bei Fragen oder kleinen Problemen mit dem WLAN sofort weiter! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und genossen sehr die Gastfreundschaft! Wir würden immer wieder kommen :)

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gut renoviert, praktisch eingerichtet, nur 3 Minuten vom Strand entfernt, 20 Minuten an der Promenade bis zur Altstadt und trotz der Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße recht ruhig. Auch das Parken des Mietwagen war recht unproblematisch. Kostenfreie Parkplätze sind in der Umgebung vorhanden. Der Balkon ist etwas schmal und nicht so gut zum draußen sitzen geeignet (zumal es draußen auch etwas laut ist). Alles in allem aber ein toller Aufenthalt.
