l'accueil fidjien est à la hauteur de sa réputation dans cet endroit hors du temps. 2 jours nous ont permis d'approcher la culture fidjienne et la structure sociale de cette communauté bienveillante, bien éloignée des hôtels et de la vie moderne et ses vices (alcohol et drug free). Sincèrement accueillis, nous avons partagé leur repas et surtout leur prêche lors de la messe dominicale animée par la chorale des l'ensemble des villageois. une homestay à découvrir.

We had a very special 6 days at Sunrise Lagoon Homestay. Lice and Jo were fantastic hosts and it was awesome to meet their family. The location is beautiful and within walking distance to the Blue Lagoon. The island hopping trip, snorkelling and spearfishing were all highlights. The rooms were very basic but a perfect place to escape and relax. For Christmas, they arranged for us to take part in a celebration in the local village, which was a great experience. If you are looking for a luxury resort, this is not the place for you! However, if you want a truly authentic slice of Fijian life in the Yasawas (and great food), you’ll love this place as much as we did! Vinaka Lice and Jo!

There aren’t enough words to say how special this stay was. If you want peace, tranquility and space away from ‘the world’ then this is the place. The house and rooms are impeccably designed to fit in with and make the most of the stunning environment. Whether you want to relax on the super comfortable outdoor furniture and take in the breathtaking views, or take the few steps down to the white sands and breathe in the ocean… it is all just stunning! We relaxed on the loungers reading, snorkelled in the nearby lagoons, walked up the beach, and used the kayaks and paddle boards. The welcome we received from Nicky & Col was so special, and we were made to feel immediately ‘right at home.’ Nicky puts so much effort and love into each meal that she prepares, and we loved sitting down to see what deliciousness awaited us. Col’s knowledge of the island and surrounds was so interesting. We loved hearing his stories and learning about the island. We cannot recommend it enough!!

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. The accommodations were as described. The hosts were amazing. We lived every minute of our stay. We relaxed. Spent time learning about the family and their Fijian life. We shared stories and food. We created memories to last a lifetime

We had an unforgettable stay on Crystal Island, a 14-acre private paradise. From the moment we were picked up by boat from the ferry, exceptional service and experiences awaited. Sevina, our private chef, wowed us with delicious, healthy Fijian dishes that immersed us in the local culture. David and Manasa kept us engaged with activities from scenic hikes and snorkeling to beachcombing, crab spotting, and kayaking. We also toured villages, schools, and learned traditional fishing and night diving. For relaxation, Rani's beachside massages were the perfect touch. The property was stunning, with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and magical outdoor showers. This stay exceeded expectations—it’s the ideal place to unwind, explore, and experience the best of Fiji. We’ll definitely be back!

Sadly we were the only people in the “resort”, but it was during the cyclon season. The workers gave their best to entertain us all day long and the snorkel trip to the coral garden was simply a 10/10 - we were able to snorkel as long as we wanted to (several hours) and we felt safe at all times. The food was always good, fresh and they adjusted the eating times to our wishes. George teached us a lot about the Fijian culture and was always helpful. In general everyone was really nice and talked to us when they saw us - we really felt welcomed from everyone. Sadly the pool was empty and therefore not usable - which is sad because you can’t go in the ocean during daytime due to low-tide.

We spent 6 amazing days at Long Beach. The best way of describing our time was amazing. The accommodation was fantastic, clean and so much space. The compulsory food was so worth it, and it was great to see so much variety each day. We were spoilt by Kasa and Wane and the rest of the family. This was the most stunning lagoon to swim in, and we left so relaxed.
