Hitty was a great host, very accommodating and very respectful. She brought us bread every morning to give us energy before our big days of skiing and always helped with keeping the house warm so we could come home to a comfortable place. Thankyou Hitty for the memorable stay at your place 🥰

Honestly, probably one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at. The house was beautifully furnished and thoughtfully stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed and the complimentary granola / yogurt / milk / coffee was very appreciated. Even though we were there at the tail end of winter (even snowed a few times during our stay at the end of March 2025), the house was warm and comfortable between the wood burning stove and heater. Due to the location up on the hill a bit out of town, it was a nice and quiet place to unwind away from the touristy areas. That being said, if you have any mobility issues or large luggage, I would not recommend for you given the number of stairs / steep slopes you would need to transverse. Unfortunately, we didn't have any clear weather days during our stay, so didn't get to enjoy the view from the garden, but I can imagine it would be glorious in better weather. Communication was easy, check in / out was a breeze. Would love to visit again!!

If 5 stars is the maximum these guys deserve 6! They booked bus tickets for us, made us breakfast, there are fab electric bikes at the property to rent. There’s an amazing view of Fuji from the living room and they’re just really nice with cute kids and super friendly dogs. Book it!!

部屋を暖かくしておいてくださったので、玄関を開けたらホッとしました。 部屋の隅々にホストのセンスの良さが表れており、閑静な立地もあいまって大変心地良い時間を過ごすことができました。ハンドソープや台所用洗剤も良く考えて選択しているな、と思います。 車で数分の保科温泉も良かったです。 静かな環境でリラックスしたい人には自信をもってお薦めします！

I was incredibly impressed by this traditional Japanese home in Oishi. The house is stunningly beautiful in a way that exceeded all my expectations, and the host’s attentiveness and care is second to none! Personalized notes and guides have been prepared prior to my arrival which was a very nice touch! The kitchen came prepared with various kinds of food to eat which is something I haven’t experienced in any Airbnb before and very much appreciated! The house was immaculately clean when I arrived and the host responded to any messages right away. There is a bike available for guests, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to try it during my short stay. I hope to be able to visit again someday and can’t recommend this place enough to anyone wanting to visit the Mt. Fuji area!

部屋もバスルームもきれいに整えられてゆったりとくつろげました。地元の食材、ホストのこだわりの食材をつかった朝食もどれもおいしく、楽しい会話も良い思い出となりました。秩父観光は初めてでしたがいろいろなおすすめをいただきとても楽しい旅行になりました。ホストの地元愛と国内外を問わず次世代の人たちへのおもてなしの思いに感銘を受けました。こんな素敵な民泊が日本にもっと広がることを願います。思い出に残るひとときをありがとうございました。

とても綺麗な宿でした。 窓からの景色もよく、落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 ただ、チェックイン時にオーナーが不在で、従業員に聞いてもちょっと待ってと言って、暇そうにしていました。 チェックインまで30分ほど待たされたのが、少し残念なポイントです。

Great place to stay if visiting Hakuba, heaps of room for family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). Good location and has a free shuttle bus that can take you anywhere in the local area, with good recommendations of places to see and eat. Shuttle bus out the front to 3 ski fields makes it easy to get to the slopes. Great daily breakfast with a different meal each day to start the day off well. Dinners also went down well. Staff were all so super friendly and helpful, we won’t hesitate to rebook if (more so when) we come back to Hakuba. Thanks for letting us stay!

Such a perfect place for us for our anniversary trip to Hakuba! Everything was phenomenal; the comfort of the room, convenience of the location, and the food (included breakfast and the restaurants on-site!). We would recommend this place to anyone :)

Leti and Pedro were a highlight of our stay. They made us feel right at home, very lovely and easy to chat too. The lodge is very cosy, has everything you need. The beds were comfy and the tv in the room is a great addition. the drying room for snow gear is great and the free breakfast was always delicious. Their beautiful dog was very cute and friendly! the location of the lodge was perfect. Close to everything and the bus stops. We loved our stay and we will be back:)

Great spot to stay! Very central to echo land bars and restaurants! Super comfortable beds and lovely hosts! Absolutely would stay here again!

I had a wonderful time at Julian's Pension and can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Katrina and Julian were really friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Thanks to the advice from Katrina, I was able to experience their local Onsen, the Fujimi Panorama Resort and learned a lot of really interesting facts about the life in Japan. The private room and shared facilities were really clean and had everything I needed. Western style Breakfast and dinner was always delicous. There are still places in Fujimi I would love to visit and if it works out, I would really love to stay at this B&B again.

Michiko and Miho's place is wonderful. it's essentially a snowboarding hostel run by the family, and has all the charm you could ask for. every breakfast and dinner is prepared, and is AMAZING. everyone gathers in the cafeteria, and after all the guests are fed, the family and staff all eat together. it all feels extremely genuine and unique, especially because it's primarily Japanese guests who stay there. they even provided rental gear, and arranged a ride to nozawa with a resident snowboarding instructor. I'd recommend this stay to anyone looking for a unique and wholesome excursion out of the major cities.

We happened to be the first visitors for this snow season. It was a comfy stay with breakfast; 3-min drive to Madarao ski resort; highly recommend

This is the perfect place for people that want to rent right around the corner and jump on a ski lift a five minute walk from the door. If you live a friendly host, delicious breakfast and a great location this is the sport for you. We even had a 2 year old and found it homelike and comforting.

Great location and in walking distance to Happo village. Shuttle bus to nearby slopes and staff very friendly and helpful.

This little place is a gem and the hosts are amazing! Though you can’t ski in/out, the hosts will give you a lift to any resort for the day and pick you up. They can also drive you to the restaurants in Akakura town. You can even order dinner in and the food was delicious! I would stay here again if I was visiting the area in the future.
