Great house for me and my 6 friends. Walking distance to the town, roughly 10 minutes Rubbish was always grabbed if put in the outside bin. Great communication Host come and cleaned house half way through our stay and also restocked towels and kitchen

We had a wonderful time staying in the peaceful wilderness. The house was spacious, well stocked, and spotlessly clean. The amenities were lovely to use in the peaceful, remote setting. The hosts were incredibly helpful and communicative with getting us there, there was lots of snow at the time and the provided road updates and ensured that the space was free of snow when we arrived. When checking out they even shoveled out the driveway and brushed off our car for us, without us even requesting. Would definitely come back and stay again!

とても親切でした。 わからない時もすぐ対応してくれて助かってました。 夜はとても静かで、当日雪降って外の景色はとても綺麗でした。 周辺の観光地やレストランも教えてもらって、レストランもすごくオシャレで、美味しいし、景色も凄く綺麗でした。 又機会あれば利用したいです。

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

Excellent place for a hideout from the city noise! Comfy place with spacious rooms! Very satisfying!

It was a great place to stay but really far from everything. We were also unable to reach a cab with taxi go or Uber. The only way we could get a ride was by calling a taxi service. It was also hard to explain the address to the taxi driver since we don’t speak Japanese. There was one time we did show the address of the Airbnb to the taxi driver and he took us far from it, we had to make a U-turn and guide him to the Airbnb. Other than that, it was a good, peaceful place.

体験としてとても楽しいものばかりでした。車から宿まで雪上車か歩きになり、どちらも経験しましたが最高の思い出になりました。 変更もあったのですがオーナーさんも心優しく柔軟に手配して頂き、とても有り難かったです。 宿自体の世界観なども素敵です。ありがとうございましたり

1階も2階もとても広く、室内の雰囲気がよかったです。洗面台やトイレも2つあり、5人いても困らずに使えました。 入浴用のタオルとバスタオルを人数分用意してくださっており、親切さも感じました。 近くのコンビニまで歩いて行けるので、とても便利だと思います。

友人との宿泊で利用しましたが、とても素晴らしい思い出になりました。施設、周辺の緑も綺麗で、また利用させていただきたいです。

北軽井沢にある貸別荘です。 目の前のゴルフ場を望めるため開放感があります。 冬の滞在ではサラサラのパウダースノーが楽しめました。 薪ストーブを観賞用でなく暖房として機能を期待する場合、思っているより多くの薪が必要です(3束は持ち込みたい)

The cottage is spacious and quiet, good enough for my group of 4. Also loving the location, ~10mins drive from the city center. Would definitely recommend this place.

お風呂の水が初日出なかった所以外は完璧でした

Nice little house. We were 4 people and found it a little cramped considering it catered for 6 people. Could do with another lounge chair as there was only seating for 3 people in lounge room. Also could have done with another toilet And there was no clothes dryer. Which meant we had to go to laundry mat. Saying all of that Desmond was very helpful and replied to me straightaway and was very helpful full.

What a delight it was to arrive at Ken’s place. After sleeping in a shared traditional Japanese house in Nozawa Onsen for 5 nights we really relished the modern elements in this super comfy house and BEDS! The timber panelling feels inviting and we loved the colour/design details. This was easily the best accommodation we had stayed in Japan and BIG. The heating was strong, perhaps too strong as it was hard to control the fan speed and amount of heat it throws even at low temp. The walk into Echoland village is beautiful and fairly close, but my 3 and 6 year olds found it too far. If it’s snowing it’s a long way. I would recommend a car. The Hakuba area is quite large and taxis are expensive and unreliable. Ken provided transfers to the station which was amazing!! The bath tub is superb, tv huge. The kitchen is small compared to the house but it has everything a traveller would need. The street is stunning with gorgeous trees and snow walls. A special place to be for any lengh of time

Had a great stay! The house had everything we needed and was toasty and warm. All kitchen items were available. House was clean and tidy and we had a cleaning half way through the stay. Awesome location, close to the Echoland village and restaurants but also far enough away to have some privacy. Also having the car available to us to use was amazing. What a great idea! Projector was also a bonus, which we used on chill nights. Would look to stay again in future!

夫婦で1泊利用させていただきました。ちょうど紅葉の見ごろで、あたり一面紅葉が色づきとても落ち着いた環境でした。 都内から離れ本当にリラックスするのにぴったりで、夜は久しぶりに熟睡できました。外のテラスも広く、綺麗な空気の中でいただく朝ごはんは格別でした。 食器や布団等も大変清潔。連休でまた利用させていただきたいと思います。

写真で見ても素敵でしたが、直接みると更に圧倒されました！インテリアも素敵で高い天井は開放感があり、周りも静かでとても心地よかったです。プロジェクターはとても大きくて非日常的でした。 オーナーの方はとても気さくで、返事もすぐ来たので安心できます。

焚き火、綺麗な星空と、都会では味わえない自然を満喫できました。 室内も大変綺麗で快適に過ごすことができました。
