We had a great stay. The fenced in back yard was wonderful with our dogs and was a peaceful place to sip our morning coffee.

My husband and I had an amazing birthday weekend with Jo and Mike. They are the kindest, most gracious and most generous hosts, as soon as we arrived they made sure we felt right at home. They truly love what they do and it shows in everything from the amazing breakfast Jo makes and the beautiful and spotless home they keep. We will most certainly stay with them again whenever we come back to the Outerbanks again!

It was a short vacation with my husband and family, but we enjoyed it a lot. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped. The area is very quiet and being able to use the pool was fantastic, communication with Scott was pleasant. They have many amazing places to visit, including restaurants. I can only say thank you so much for letting us stay at your house and take care of it as if it were ours. We hope to be able to return for next year.☺️

This was the best Airbnb and/or B&B experience we’ve ever had. Johanna and Michael are the perfect hosts and their house and hospitality are off the charts. The reviews are all spot on and this is a true B&B experience. Johanna went overboard to ensure my family’s comfort and stay were amazing. We would DEFINITELY stay again. It was one of the best parts of our OBX experience. Thank you so much Johanna for everything. You are the bestest host ever!!!

Staying with Jo & Mike over Labor Day weekend was the best decision ever! It was truly a home away from home. We wanted to get away for a relaxing weekend at the beach and that's exactly what we got. Their home is beautiful! Everything was super comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious...not even gonna lie, we helped ourselves to seconds! We loved that the beach was only a few minutes away, so convenient and definitely a plus. And the best part was getting to know Jo & Mike. I can honestly say we now have friends in the Outer Banks! No doubt their home will be the only place we'll stay in next time we're in town.

Wow, what can I say about Colington Creek Inn? As someone that books maybe 10-15 rentals on this app per year, I can’t recommend enough. During my stay, Darold was welcoming, willing to accommodate but let guests enjoy their stay without hovering (hard to report for most proper B&B’s). I stayed in the cottage, which had wonderful water views, steeped in privacy on their beautiful property. My last day, Darold sent me on to my 1.5k+ mile drive with some cut up fruit in a ziplock, an album from a musician that frequents—and even named a song after—Colington Creek. If looking to check out the Outer Banks, this is the spot to stay!

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, welcoming and comfortable! The location is hard to beat and the host is incredible!

Great location, beautiful house. Right across from the beach. Our room had a nice balcony. We liked the coffee and snacks in the shared kitchen downstairs also nice to meet other guests to socialize with. Would stay there again.

My stay at the Cottington Inn was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of relaxation and calm that I truly needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, the accommodations were comfortable, and every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to help guests unwind. This stay was more than just a getaway—it was a reset that came at the perfect time. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a place to recharge and find a sense of peace. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful weekend at Mikes house. Everything was as described on the website. I was a little nervous about checking into a place with other people coming and going but it wasn’t anything to worry about. Spoke with some others who were there and it was great. House was clean and we didn’t have any complaints while there. Would stay there again and the ocean is just a five minute walk which was great

Completely as advertised. A bed and a bath in a house across from the beach. Shared Kitchen and living room and pool as well. And washer and dryer Some breakfast items and snacks each day. Perfect location for pier and beach Or exploring the area😀
