We absolutely loved this place!! It was definitely our favourite accomodation so far. We had such a great time tripping around the different villages during the day and coming back for a drink in the jacuzzi to unwind. The views were amazing, bed was comfy and it had everything we needed! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting lake Atitlan ☺️

AMAZING stay with Augustus. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time and had everything we needed. He answered messages right away & delivered whatever we needed immediately. Place is gorgeous. Amazing views. Quiet area. Right in front of the lake. Paddle boards and sauna made this the best experience ever. It was so magical here!!!!

We loved our stay here and would stay again! The badminton court and the kayak were great. The daily breakfasts were delicious and David helped book tuk tuks into town to go to restaurants. Only thing I would clear up is that there's really only 1 bedroom with privacy. The others are two and two without doors. Also, the beds are not the most comfortable, but worth it for the amenities!

This place exceeded our expectations, it was even more beautiful than the photos! The living space is spacious and breathtaking, with a stunning yard that offers an unobstructed view of the volcano. The kitchen was fantastic, and we loved spending our evenings cooking dinner and grilling on the barbecue. Every night, we used the temazcal (like a sauna), which made our stay even more special. Lesley and the groundskeeper were incredibly responsive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Lesley also shared local recommendations and kept us informed about daily events in San Marcos. An unforgettable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!

Casa Paloma was an easy walk to town. Perfect for jungle lovers who enjoy the sounds of nature and the serenity of your own little nooks. The host was super responsive to all of our questions and we booked a massage that was amazing. The open air concept made for a perfect getaway with comfortable temperatures day and night when we stayed in April. The kitchen had coffee accessible for anyone to make and the bathrooms had refreshing hot water. Everything felt very clean and it was nice that water taxis knew exactly where to go. There were plenty of towels and the room had fresh flowers, which was a nice touch. We stayed two days but could easily have stayed a whole week and still found plenty to do!

We absolutely loved our stay - the views are unreal, it was so beautiful to wake up every morning and drink coffee while overlooking the lake. Our kids had a great time exploring the property and swimming in the pool that was the perfect temperature. The hot tub had the perfect view of the volcano and was super relaxing. Great location, and Eliseo was so helpful. Can’t wait to come back someday!

We had a great time enjoying the sweeping volcano views from the balcony of Casa Wenche at Villa Eggedal. The property covers over 10 acres and is a 10 minute walk from the public dock and 15 minutes uphill to the town center of Santa Cruz. Since it was a bit of a hike to the restaurants, we ended up cooking a lot. There were so many seating areas around the property, which is meticulously gardened, and our boys also enjoyed the pool. Diego the caretaker and the cleaning ladies were also really helpful. Also the hot water and water pressure were great!

Maura’s home is truly special! The house is clean, comfortable, airy, and well appointed. The views from the sitting room may be some of the best in Lake Atitlan – seriously! We love d San Marcos: restaurants, and small town feel. We would definitely return and rent Maura’s place again. Highly recommended.
