This place was perfect for our stay. The patio was peaceful and beautiful, the most stunning place to enjoy your morning coffee and read. Mario was an incredible host, with great taste in decorating. We have already recommended this place to friends visiting Nairobi in the near future, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for everything Mario!

Elizabeth’s place was a perfect get away spot for our family! Elizabeth was also very responsive and willing to help us solve any issues. We loved the house and the grounds were peaceful and very well maintained. The kids particularly loved the swings and slide out in the yard. The area is not far from the forest so the energy was quite calm, but it did feel far away. It’s easy enough to get around with an Uber, but not very walkable. If you’re looking for a calm, safe and peaceful getaway from the bustle of the city, do not hesitate.

Cottage - Serenity: realm of tranquility

Loved the charm. The only thing is for wherever we wanted to go, we needed a driver because the suburb of Karen was further out from the city center. Otherwise we had a great stay and walkable to Boho eatery and with a driver the elephant and giraffe sanctuary were close by.

We loved our stay at Anselmo’s place, a magical house and its surroundings. Definitely worth visiting his glass factory and cafe, beautiful art. Only thing to have in mind is that it takes around 25min on quite bumpy dirt road to get there, so plan your driving time and accordingly

Our stay at Liz and family was fantastic to say the least. Beyond meeting our expectations of the place, the vibe and the warmth from the staff and family made us feel like we were home.. It was peaceful and enjoyable to be there very kid friendly too. Definitely coming back in January!!

Dream house with amazing Ngong hills view

We had a lovely time at Bibi’s beautiful house overlooking the Ngong hills. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is worth noting that there are only 3 beds (one double and two singles) not the amount noted in the listing. But it was enough for us and other than that everything was accurately reflected. The veranda is a great place to sit and look out over the beautiful garden. Bibi was also super responsive , proactive and helpful. Thank you and we’ll be back!

the place is clean, clean water, closer to main road. everything as in the pictures, good check in and check out times. I would recommend this for people looking for a secure hosting.

I had a wonderful month in this gorgeous property. The interior design and quality of bedding are both worthy of mention. Jenni was the perfect hostess and the staff working there couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I will definately be back! Thank you for the warm welcome and great experience.

Decided to get out of the Nairobi chaos for quality time with my three daughters, looked up many places but this cottage stood out. Loved the simplicity and the entertaining spaces. The fact that it’s nestled within the tea plantations of Tigoni was another attraction. We loved the cottage, as described, siddy also offered us a chef, John, who was amazing and made adjustments to our liking. First time seeing my girls eat so much. The location is great as we were able to visit many attractions and adventure activities including restaurants for our lunches. Highly recommend.

Self Contained Modern cottage in Runda

The guesthouse was well laid out, with comfortable chairs, various beds and effective hot water. The internet was excellent. Having a dedicated washing machine and clothes line was very much appreciated. George and Edwin were wonderful hosts. The compound is quite secure and peaceful. It did not take long to get used to the roosters crowing and on Sundays, the choir of the church off to the north could be heard singing uplifting hymns and songs. Access through the front gates was easy and the address is well recorded on the maps for online deliveries such as Uber Eats or Glovo. Similarly easy to organise ridesharing. The location provides easy access to Runda, Gigiri, Village Market, Two Rivers and beyond. It is also close to Kiambu Road for quick access in either direction.

A serene and quiet environment. It felt like home. The bathroom and kitchen were sparkling clean and well stocked. Breakfast was great and Esther was just amazing. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time :) Very peaceful, private and quiet, surrounded by large beautiful trees and the sounds of nature. We enjoyed a campfire each night along with the organic farmers market and Tin Roof Cafe. Finally, the owner and all of the staff were very friendly and super helpful. It's a wonderful place! :)
