This was the best place to spend Valentine’s weekend. The surroundings were surreal. We will be visiting again! Would recommend to anyone who wants to connect to nature. It is most definitely a little piece of heaven!

The perfect stay in the middle of the Karoo. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet stay, then look no further than Sonnevleg. This was truly remarkableand we enjoyed the peacefulness of the farm. At night you will see more stars than you can imagine with little light polution affecting the views. One of my best farm stays. Thank you for the accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, rustic cottage. It’s peaceful with a lovely view. We walked to the nearby river with our dog which he loved. We really appreciated the crisp bed linen & mosquito netting. We’d come back here again. Oh yes! And the hot tub was fantastic too!

We had a wonderful stay at Wolfkop, the house was great and the additional hot tub and pool were a bonus. We felt right at home and wished that we could have stayed longer! Staff and host are friendly, welcoming and responsive. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay, and were visited by many birds, some Blue Duiker bucks, and a Genet! It was a very special stay, the views are beautiful and the jacuzzi was lovely and hot. We also did some walks in the area, the hikes are beautiful and very manageable for all fitness levels. Will definitely be back!

What an amazing weekend away. The communication was so clear and we were never left wondering about anything. We stayed in the Blokhuys and it was very private. We spent basically the whole weekend on the stoep taking in the beautiful surroundings. We were a little bit disheartened as the pool was very close to one of the cottage’s outside area. So it felt a bit like we were intruding their privacy when we went to swim. Despite this, we cooled off in our own little tub which we then fired up at night. We walked to and swam in the waterfall (incredible) and we were so grateful for the aircon in the cottage. Also, I think our dog had the best weekend of her life, this was the biggest win. Can’t wait to visit again next year!
