This Was an ideal space for our group of freinds. Very tidy, clean and spacious. Great place for families to unwind. Very hospitable with pool and trampoline. Sitting on the sofa watching the sun go down is an absolute treat and relaxing! Ideal for us!

Peaceful, restful, full of nature. Beautiful walks and swims in the dam. Simple and basic and all you need for a country escape. Lovely hosts. Will be back

Our second time staying at Botanica and definitely not the last! A true gem in Elands Bay with a beautiful garden, pristine pool and walking distance to the surf spot. Absolutely love it

After spending time in some remote locations, Tarantula Guesthouse was the perfect soft landing. The house is incredibly spacious, kept wonderfully cool in the heat, and felt like a true home away from home. We loved the lovely braai area and the pool, which were a hit for both us and our kids. The property is very private from the other cottages, which made it even more relaxing. The full kitchen and access to all DSTV channels added to the convenience, allowing us to unwind completely. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even requested a late check-out because we didn’t want to leave! Hendrina was exceptionally kind, and communication was seamless from start to finish. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. Looking forward to staying here again!

This place has it all. Huge kitchen and storage area with views over the mountain and clanwilliam dam on the ground floor. Great breakfast nook. Indoor fireplace, outside braai area and pool with pool net to keep the kids safe. Upstairs you’ll find a tv room & bar area with air conditioning and WiFi throughout. All 3 bedrooms have en-suites with ample shelving in the rooms to unpack on. There is a guest loo! Bonuses for us were a carport to park the boat under to dry out. Double garage & functioning alarm system linked to a quick response company as we learnt in error. Our Host Amelia was helpful and accommodating. We look forward to returning.

Great service from Michelle and her staff at the guest house. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. I would definatly recommend Marigold
