Shannon's mum (Betsy), dad (David) and newphew (Ivandro) took great care of us at their beautiful small farm. If you are seeking luxury, look elsewhere. But if you are looking for an authentic Namibian rural experience, with a kind, open and welcoming family, you should not hesitate to stay here. The solar USB charging and flushing toilet worked a treat. But note the cold shower. The family couldn't do enough to help us. Our son loved learning to milk a goat - and even got to hold a baby lamb who was less than a day old. An unforgettable experience with a lovely Namibian family.

All the other reviews are spot on - this is a very unique and special stay. In the bush yet near the airport, it was perfect for our last night in Namibia. We wished we had a few more nights! Sybille could not have been more delightful. Highly recommended.

It was great and peaceful stay: perfect getaway. Trudi is great and helpful host (thank you!). Everything matches (and exceed) the description. Dogs are the sweetest (amazing bonus to the place!:)) Definitely will return!

A gorgeous place to stay with options to eat in with all the produce cooked straight from the Biodynamic farm. Loved our stay and highly recommend

This stay is excellent value for money. All amenities you can wish for is available and the host is extremely friendly. The beds are excellent quality and the rest of the property is comfortable and spacious. Cleanliness is absolutely excellent as well. We will revisit this stay again!!

The farmhouse was perfect for what we wanted - a quick getaway from Windhoek where we could go with a dog and enjoy walks in the veld. It is very clean and comfortable, well equipped, well managed and has bucket-loads of character. We'll be back for longer next time! The welcome gifts of fresh farm eggs, rusks etc were lovely too. Thanks for your hospitality.

tolle Unterkunft mitten auf einer Farm in der Nähe von Windhoek, bei der man das Leben am Bauernhof und in der Natur aus nächster Nähe miterlebt im Bungalow war ausreichend Platz und alles sauber, super Ausstattung zum Kochen und Grillen sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die den Aufenthalt bestmöglich macht

We stayed one night at Savanna Guest Farm on our way south, and it was definitely a welcome stop. Erich and his staff are friendly hosts. The unit was as described. We opted for the dinner and breakfast (additional cost), and both were excellent. The farm is in a beautiful corner of Namibia and it was a unique experience. We highly recommend Savanna Guest Farm to travellers as a way to break up the long distances.
