As many other reviewers have said, you absolutely have to have a four-wheel-drive to get up that driveway. I’ve driven on many mountain roads and up many steep driveways so I wasn’t worried about it, but when I tell you I was shaking and sweating and truly thought I was about to die, I’m not exaggerating. Granted, I was driving an AWD, and not a 4WD. With that being said, I’d stay here again lol. I LOVED the house. The view is incredible. The kitchen was stocked with everything I’d need for cooking. Keep in mind, there is no ice. You will have to bring some with you. The beds were also so comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and got really hot! There was plenty of space to lounge around with the two living room areas. It really was just perfect. I’d stay again but bring a 4WD and have someone else drive, haha

We loved our stay at Greg’s cabin! The location is beautiful and the cabin was very clean and comfortable, it looked just like the pictures. There is a nice stream right next to the cabin and we enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. It was also only about a 10 minute drive to the casino, which was very convenient for the event we were attending. We would definitely stay here again!

What a great trip. Checkin/out was seamless. The property was clean and the amenities were great. Blue Haven was the perfect relaxing getaway.

The house was perfect for our family’s annual after Christmas vacation! The views are amazing! There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. Since we always prepare a lot of our meals and the kitchen well equipped and worked out great. Did I mention the incredible views? You’re on top and can see mountains in every direction! It was Beautiful! The weather was cold and windy. It did snow a little but nothing that caused a problem traveling. Thank you Mickey for your concern about the possibility of ice on our departure morning and checking on us. Our new favorite place we have stayed! We loved it!

My wife and I booked Smawlie cabin for an overnight stay, to take a much needed break from the daily grind. I was initially attracted to the booking by the quaint and small cabin feel, with the added bonuses of a great view and hot tub! Mike (the host) was very responsive and provided an excellent level of details about the route there, activity suggestions, local eats, and other helpful tips. The views were excellent from the hot tub/deck; we had very clear skies and saw shooting stars! Cleanliness 100%, VERY comfy bed. The gravel drive to the top was a bit steeper than I anticipated, but our Toyota 4Runner made it up and down with no issues, even with snow and mildly icy tire tracks covering the gravel. 100% need 4WD drive to get up there though! I screenshotted the specific directions provided by Mike and also wrote them down in my notes; there was no cell phone reception out there. Plan your routes in and out before traveling! I would definitely recommend Smawlie to anyone!

What a lovely, unique place for a getaway! Whether it's a romantic mini-moon or a weekend in the woods with your besties, this spot is beautiful and so memorable. From taking an afternoon nap in the hammock on the deck to a midnight bath in the tub next to the river, this place is full of lovely and comforting details to make your stay perfect. The kitchen is crazy well equipped, the towels are plush and high quality, the linens are soft, the fireplace easy to use, the windows afford gorgeous views without feeling like you're being stared at, and the sound of the rushing river right outside your door is just wonderful. Kangee herself is so warm and inviting, her detailed instructions make it easy to find things to do and places to eat, she's friendly and so patient and understanding when there's a mishap. Great location with an excellent host. Strongly considering going back with more friends next time. Thanks Kangee!

the cabin was absolutely amazing! beautiful views. Darrell was very easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions I had. his extra directions to driveway was very helpful. perfect location close to town but also secluded enough to get the full mountain effect. Will definitely be returning in the future!

this was the perfect place for a weekend vacation. we loved the house and hot tub. the views were unbelievable. Nadine is a fantastic host! thank you for a great weekend!

With plenty to do in Bryson and Cherokee, we'll definitely be returning to this stay. Spotless, clean house. Working amenities (hot tub was great for post-downtown and casino-perusing). Very generously warm shower. Enjoyed the modern style, furniture, and layout. Bed was comfortable too, with extra pillows supplied. Felt like a very private location (cant say we saw another person nearby or wandering around), but still very close to downtown Bryson. While there are train tracks and a trailer park nearby- would certainly not let either of these deter from booking with these hosts. Neither detracted from the lovely stay or were an issue. (also parking wasn't as bad as mentioned, but still understandable on their transparency; found it easiest just to pull in the lot across, and wait for traffic to quiet down, and then back in to the parking spot). 10/10, fair pricing- would reccomend this stay for anyone visiting the area. Hosts communicated swiftly and supportive.

Loved the place. Hoping to go back next year same time of year. The recycle place where you put your trash is not well marked - well the GPS was not helpful. But very easy to get to after the first time. Sweeping floors would be so much easier with something like a Swiffer (just me whining). Again the place is wonderful and a super place. My entire family want to go back next year. Ultra comfy beds. Lots of family things to do in the basement. Sleeps a my family crowd with privacy and comfort. Decorated so cool. The owners found unique lighting and awesome wood features. We absolutely loved it. Views spectacular and check out so easy. Thank you, Thomas! You and your place were great!

The cabin has a cozy feeling and is located nice and secluded at the end of a neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the outside but the bonfire looks like a great place to sit outside with family or friends. When booking, we didn’t realize the upstairs bedroom does not have a door, although this did not bother us because it was just my wife and I. We would go definitely come back here. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Absolutely GREAT place to stay, it was even better than the pictures. Everything is provided and makes it so easy just to spend a wonderful time in Murphy. The creek noise makes it all and the homey feel gives comfort for family or even just a 2 person escape. Highly recommend!!! Michele is a perfect host and makes sure you enjoy your stay.

Silver Linings was perfect for our weekend away in Highlands. After Hurricane Helene, we didn’t know if we’d be able to keep our reservation, but Becky went above and beyond to check on the property and communicate updates to us daily. We were so glad to be able to go and stay in such beautiful accommodations. We will certainly be back to stay at Silver Linings!

Cute one bedroom cottage with nice views of the lake. We really enjoyed having access to the two kayaks that came with the rental. Little kitchen & living space were perfect for the two of us - liked the convenience of being able to cook meals there. Overall really enjoyed our stay & the proximity of the cottage to all the great outdoor hiking & sightseeing was amazing!

IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I HAVE EVER STAYED. LENOIR WAS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF ACTUALLY MEETING HER. WHAT A SWEETHEART SHE WAS. 10 OUT OF 10 WOULD STAY AGAIN. SIDE NOTE THE TOWEL WARMER WAS AMAZING.

Jonita went above and beyond for us to accommodate our group. We are so grateful to her for that, and heartily recommend anybody stay at her beautiful cabin overlooking a mountain lake.

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to come to in the north Georgia mountains of Sky Valley. Beautiful views especially at sunset, hearing the chapel bells ringing, watching the humming birds fly around during the day and at night the bats, and friendly neighbors. The unit was roomy and comfortable. There were a few light bulbs burned out upon arrival and our host was very responsive and a maintenance gentleman was there soon to replace them. Lots of local activities and great restaurants in nearby Highlands and Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA. For walkers the Sky Valley golf course closes at 7 p.m. and it's great walking or jogging around the beautiful course.

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

An absolute gem of a cabin. The pictures didn't do it justice. The cabin itself was stunning and homey. Lovely kitchen with all the necessities. The view was incredible! I don't think we could have found a better place.

This has been yet another amazing stay!! We have reserved this Air B&B for 3 years now and each time Nina has provided an incredible and hassle free experience. Full of amenities, a complete kitchen arrangement, a quiet driveway and amazing views, this Air B&B has countless things to compliment and I’m happy to say we will continue using it as long as we can <3 It has gone from a vacation home to an ACTUAL home, just far away from our regular one.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The views from the house are incredible. It is very peaceful. The place was clean. Nina was very helpful and responsive when needed. We used the pool and hot tub, which was a short walk down the driveway. I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

We were having our family Christmas get together and was so happy that the house was still beautifully decorated for Christmas. That made our gathering extra special! The house was perfect for our group!

We so enjoyed our stay. The suite was decorated beautifully and had everything furnished that you could think of. Everything modern and extremely clean and comfortable. Quiet and private. We enjoyed our stay at Donna's place. Donna was great with quick communication and proactively offered us both early check in and late check out since the rental schedule could accommodate it. Our group of 8 was comfortable here, and we enjoyed some local hikes and a side trip to Highlands. The kitchen was spacious for lots of cooking. The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a really nice touch. Great views from the many balconies.
