We had a great stay at this rental. The location was perfect for us- far enough out of town that you were alone but a quick drive and you’ve got restaurants, shops and activities. After exploring the mountains all day, coming back to the hot tub was a nice treat. Just an amazing spot!

great stay right on the lake!! had everything we needed. kitchen equipped with enough to make our thanksgiving dinner. beds were comfy. she even asked if we wanted it decorated for Christmas.🎄 close to some beautiful hiking trails/falls. kids wanna go back for summer! raechel was always quick to reply and helpful with anything

We had a great few days at Suzy’s house. Although it rained the entire time, we enjoyed visiting with family. The screen porch was perfect and the furniture very comfortable. Having the bed and bathrooms on separate levels was a plus too. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes. We hope to come back in the summer so we can enjoy the lake and dock. Cozy, comfortable home.

It was the perfect place for a family gathering after Christmas at one of our favorite places. Only wished we could have stayed longer. We’d stay there again.

The place is exactly as described. Very close to WCU and worked out great during move in day. Relaxing place to stay.

Great location and very peaceful. Extremely clean and well stocked. We stayed in the winter, so the lake was low, but we knew that going in. Parking and stairs down to the door can be a little trickey, especially at night. As others have said, dont bring a boat to the property but take it to a marina. There is limited ability to turn around. Would certainly stay again.

This vacation involved checking out the area for an upcoming wedding. For the house, we wanted lots of space in the house and easy parking, bathrooms for each family group, family space to hang out, easy walking, and of course access to the lake. All of these happened plus great porch space with the firepit and also the outdoor firepit. The stairs to the lake provided a work out and planning for the day. That is the only consideration for others to be aware of, is if they have a family member that has issues with stairs. The area is beautiful and exactly what we hoped for and this home with the easy contact for any issues or questions made it a great week!

Awesome private cabin with a great location!

Becky’s place is beautiful and impeccably clean! She was extremely responsive as well. My husband and our fur children had a wonderful time. The view alone is worth a million bucks! Will definitely be back here in the future 😊

The pros: The home was awesome and had plenty of room. The view was beautiful and peaceful. It was the first place we stayed that had an actual baby bed; this was a welcomed blessing. It had plenty of blankets and towels for everyone and was extremely clean. We would definately stay here again. The cons: No king size beds for the adults. Parking was a challenge and it does not have a private drive. It also needed a coffee maker for pods and we would have enjoyed more couches on the main floor with recliners verses the straight back chairs. The towels also needed some fabric softner - they were really rough (small details). Overall: Excellent home and host experience. It is well worth the rental price!

We loved staying here! The house has everything one would need for a relaxing stay. My kids loved fishing from the dock, the legos, and puzzles- so much to do that screens were not even missed!

I enjoyed this place 100%. Clean space, some privacy, extremely peaceful. Matt was super proactive in letting us know of the current events that could affect our stay, such as open fire bans. so therefore we could not use the fire pit. However, We enjoyed the scenery, the hot tub, the grill and other outside adventures. I would highly recommend staying here & I would definitely book with Matt again during a different season!

Lovely place to get away for a few days. Very cozy and peaceful vibes.

Great little sleep spot for some hikers coming thru town trying to finish the AT. We were able to walk across the street and eat dinner. Clean room, comfortable bed, clean shower and restroom. One in our group travels with a noise machine which proved to be helpful as the noise from the highway the motel faces can be a little loud. Felt very safe.

Brandon and Julie's home is the perfect combination of spaciousness and coziness! The four bedrooms were perfectly appointed for our family of 6 adults. There are ample living areas to spread out, whether watching tv in the living room, playing games in the sunroom, or enjoying the tranquil lake view on the large front porch. The kitchen area is large and spacious with a round table with seating for four allowing for quick meals or socializing with whomever is cooking. Brandon and Julie were very easy to communicate with and great hosts. We highly recommend staying at Brandon and Julie's home, which is very central to many attractions in northern Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

We had a wonderful week and stay! The game room was a blast! We loved having the boat dock to park the rental boat. Their kayaks are great. Everything was fantastic. We didn’t want for anything! Beautiful, peaceful, perfect stay. Thank you!

We've stayed around the Smokey's for years and this house provided some of the best views we've ever had. A beautiful, clean home that feels very inviting. We definitely recommend and would stay again. Host made us feel right at home and was available within minutes. It was evident she wanted us to enjoy our trip, which we did!

Nice private location on the water. Great family home for a gathering. Nice sunsets and dockage and the fire pits are a bonus.

What a wonderful family vacation and truly needed. So close to Bass fishing. Something different for this Florida fishing family. Love it. Waterfalls were amazing and found some great mom and pop restaurants. Us ladies love the local Vineyards and well crap they were husband friendly. But we took the dog and a DD. Not the dog!

The location is beautiful and peaceful. Located just off of a highway and you do hear some noise mainly when motorcycles going by, but other than that you don't think about it. We rented a boat so having the dock was the best feature, but includes a lily pad, kayaks, fire pit... Definitely would rebook.

The place was very clean and had anything you might want. It was so well stocked. Mary Beth is very responsive, never more than a few minutes to answer. I wish all hosts were like Mary Beth. Wonderful location, only a short walk to the dock and fishing. We definitely plan to go back. Don’t hesitate, you will be well pleased. Thank you for sharing your home Mary Beth.

David is the first host that was answering questions before they were asked. He had great recommendations and when we thought we had a little problem with the oven, he was willing to call someone on a Sunday to fix it but instead, he trouble the problem and my husband was able to get the oven working by simply unplugging and plugging it back in a few times due to a power surge. We were able to use the oven the rest of the stay and everything else was perfect. The kitchen is easy to cook in if you like to cook and they have everything you need to do So.

Janet was the best host I’ve ever had—extremely responsive and super flexible. My children loved the entire space, and we enjoyed a beautiful breeze from the balcony. We had a little storm during our stay, but it was no big deal. Everything was close by, including the lovely park in Hiawassee. We had an amazing time riding horses in Brasstown, making s’mores, flying kites, and panning for gems in Helen—just good old-fashioned fun. The kids especially loved the bunk beds with the Beddy’s sheets. We were able to stream cartoons for them and make breakfast using the griddle. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable few days!
