Highly recommend staying at Solio Gardens. House was lovely and spacious and beautifully clean. Beds were comfy and showers hot! Our children enjoyed the pool table and space in the garden to play football. We were a party of 11 and self catered. Kitchen was basic but fine to cook simple meals. We were confused by the location of the property as the map is inaccurate but Alex explained exact location (near the airstrip in Nanyuki) before we set off. We went to Ol Peteja Conservancy (a 45 minute drive away) which was awesome as you see so many animals. Would stay here again.

Skip all the hotels and lodges in this area and stay here. It's a perfect home away from home. The gardens are a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. The kids have enough grounds equipped with safe play sets. The home is well secured. There's adequate trees that add to the quality of air and serenity. If you are a fun of animals you will be well pleased here. We stayed a family of 8 adults and 7 kids and there was adequate room for us all. The bat is well equipped for that refreshing evening drink. Great music selection with perfect sound to cheer up your spirits. I doubt we would have the kind of experience we had here in any other place. Plus places like Nanyuki are literally 30 mins drive away and so much to do in the area if you have to live. The only downside is we couldn't stay longer or forever! Oh, and I can't forget to mention the excellent service offered by everyone from the owner to the workers. Also one of our cars needed a Jumpstart and Mr Turunga was gracious.

Batian House is a home away from home. I was particularly impressed by the simple but elegant furnishings - no overkill. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a calm quiet time in the wild.

Great house in a beautiful riverside location. Communication with Joseph was fantastic and team at the property was extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

The stay at the villa was very comfortable,it’s a peaceful location and great to unwind Housekeeping was good the place is very clean not much I’d change except only would have been nice to have the gate key instead of waiting to be opened for each time leaving the premises or coming back in thats the only thing

Tina's place was an amazing setting for a family Christmas. It has easy access to Ol Pejeta, the KWS animal conservancy, hiking trails near Mt. Kenya, and Nanyuki town. Chef John and his assistant Mary are fantastic. The house manager Noel is incredibly helpful and supportive. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Hello Himani my friends and I enjoyed the space it was really a beautiful place totally we got to enjoy the quiet natural environment thank you for hosting us your place was clean and your communication above all was the best however if you looking into doing a few changes please concider wifi because theres a poor network over there. Otherwise personally your space served me well Ps: guys who are looking into such a place its purely a place to unwind not even a tv is necessary at this space even the network gives you a break from your phone ☺️

Wow where to start. Misbah was a great host- very responsive, gave adequate information and was very pleasant. The house, looks even better than in the photos, the service was good from Carole and the food from Stanely was stellar. All were very professional and pleasant to be around. We really enjoyed the game drive, we saw all of the big 5 - with exception of the cheetah. Of course plenty gazelles, warthogs, zebras, oh and the beautiful giraffes. The chimps too were great to see. It’s a great destination for all the kids and adults too. Will definitely come back
