The place was very quiet which was something I was really looking for. The house was clean and very relaxed. It felt like home. The host was also very responsive. I liked my stay and would definitely go back.

Lifestyle villas are in a convenient location with a little park close by and in a walkable neighbourhood. The villa is spacious, well maintained, comfortable and the heated pool is a big plus. Liz checked me in and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I highly highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay at River Run House! Being the very first guests made it even more special. The place is truly unique—full of character and set in the most peaceful surroundings. From the verandah, we saw so many beautiful birds and even a buffalo sighting at night which made the experience even more magical. James, the caretaker, was amazing - super helpful and full of great local knowledge. Everything about River Run made it hard to leave. We can’t wait to come back!

Batian House is a home away from home. I was particularly impressed by the simple but elegant furnishings - no overkill. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a calm quiet time in the wild.

Overall this is a very nice place. It was a little hard to find, especially at night as Google maps does not provide the correct directions. There is a gate for security purposes but you have to call and request for it to opened whenever you want to come or go. The apartment is very clean and nice with two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one full. Elizabeth is next door and available if you need anything.

The house was amazing, better than the photos. It has a straight view of Mt Kenya and we were quite lucky to see it every day. Check in was a breeze; it’s a bit off the A2 but the directions were clear and easy to follow. The housekeeper Tabitha was lovely - she was very nice and cooked a couple delicious meals for us. There are a couple dogs that meander between the villas but they were friendly. There are a few villas (5?) but the gardens and landscaping make it feel like it’s just you. Would absolutely stay again!

A nice place for rest & relaxation. Magnificent views of Mt. Kenya and it's just a few minutes from Nanyuki town incase you need to eat out/order in or do some shopping. Great hosts ready to assist any time of the day or night. I highly recommend it.

Our time at Betty's place was just what we needed. We stayed in Lavender Cottage, which allowed us to cook our meals easily while having our own pace daily between work and resting. The pool was lovely (wear sunscreen), the daily breakfast was delicious, and the outside area with a fireplace was perfect for some downtime. Betty and her staff were so helpful! It combines a hotel with beautiful amenities, a small B&B, and a safe, private compound. We took a pilates class in town one morning, but otherwise, we stayed put the week we were there. We hope to explore more on our next visit. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay at Ivy, the cottage was so cozy and comfortable. The terrace overlooking the garden absolutely beautiful. Also convenient location next to the shopping center for breakfast and Nanyuki souvenirs.

I was received by Laureen who was an amazing host! She guided us through, instantly provided a heater when requested, recommended activities and checked up on us. The place is exactly like the pictures snd even better. Quiet, cool, calm and beautiful

On arrival we were welcomed by Raymond & Kendi at the front. Once signed in Kendi directed us to the tent and assisted with the luggage. Upon the first few days the team and especially Maggie and Anthony made us feel welcomed and were attentive to every need. The location is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming. The local wildlife is also there to make you welcome, they will make some sounds in the night but don’t fear as the security measures in this place are top notch. Peter and Eric are great at helping prepare your rooms for the evening and are great guides to take you around the grounds in the evening ensuring your safety. You can go for a local hike, ask for Isaac Mwangi as he’s a local database. Finally Betty and her cohost were amazing, responsive and very proactive making for a stellar experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Silvia is a courteous ans very respknsove host. Her place is exactly as is in the photos, very beautiful and quiet environment. Would definitely go back.

This apartment (on the 1st floor of the apartment complex) is one of the best apartments we have stayed at in Kenya. Everything was in great condition, it was clean with comfortable beds that had lots of pillows. There was even a blanket in the sitting room for cozy warmth at night. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals and a beautiful view of Mt. Kenya out the kitchen window. I loved that there were plenty of mirrors in the apartment. There was some construction that was pretty loud during the day but if you're seeing the sites no worries because it ended at 5 pm. We definitely will be returning to this apartment and hope it will become another of our home away from home stays.

Really beautiful place to stay. Super worth what you would spend to stay, and the host and caretaker of the home are really helpful and proactive with anything needed during your stay. Would highly recommend it to someone staying in Nanyuki. It's about a 10min drive to main Nanyuki, so close by to anywhere you would want to go in the town. Thank you again to Margaret and James for taking care of me during my stay.

I was in search of a quiet, peaceful place, and I found that at Joy's place. I love how we easily accessed Nanyuki from her place, and the recommendations she had for us -- especially a visit to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. She was super responsive, and such a great host. We loved it, and will most certainly be back!!!

The place was great close to Nanyuki town. Everything is as described.
