What a great find with fantastic friendly hosts. Claire and Seb have a great little place right near the beach. So cozy and easy to settle into. It is by a main road (as they mentioned and the only reason I didn’t give location a 5 star) but it wasn’t a distraction (fans and heat pump made it easy to not notice). They even supply ear plugs if you were a sensitive sleeper and can’t block it out. The beach is right across from their drive and a great place to sit and listen to the waves crash. And the bed is super comfy! Seriously, don’t swipe past this Air B&B. We definitely plan to come back for a longer stay!

Marie’s place was absolutely delightful. We absolutely loved it there. We loved everything about it. The access to the beach was immediate yet private. The view of the beach and sea was amazing. Almost lost for words. It had everything that we needed

My family and i really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely beautiful and a very peaceful place to relax and unwind. The view is absolutely stunning. Easy access to the beach and not far to the local store.

We had a lovely stay! We arrived in the dark and waking up to that view was something else! Such a special spot to take little ones, being able to come back and forth from the beach as we pleased was fantastic! Also loved the family feel of the Bach - you could tell there were many happy memories had there over the generations! Very accomodating hosts with great communication. We would love to visit again. Highly recommend

Phil and Leanne were generous and thoughtful hosts. The annex room was private and comfortable and very well equipped. A well considered and unexpected welcome pack was waiting for me and I was offered a drink and to sit with them out on the front deck as soon as I arrived. Despite being close to a busy road the room was quiet, with a lovely garden area outside with table and chairs, and a hot tub which I was free to use. There is a handy separate private entrance to the annex at the side of the house altho trying to roll a heavy bag along the path was not easy. The beach and sea are easily accessible across the quiet road at the front of the house. Leanne even joined me for an early swim on my first morning. Napier is a lovely town with lots to see and do there and in the surrounding area. Phil and Leanne were always ready to offer recommendations and advice. As a solo traveller I enjoyed a relaxing time and was sorry to leave. Would definitely recommend their place

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place. It had that old kiwi bach vibe to it. Nice to get away from the city and just relax. Beds were comfortable and there were lots of games for the kids to play. The trampoline was a big hit.

Beautiful location. Just like the photos! It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids aged 2 and 4. Beach a one minute walk away, playground and shop/cafe (excellent takeaways) a 15 min walk on the beach. Accommodation basic but absolutely fine. Beds comfy and linen etc high quality.

Staying at Marg's was comfortable and exactly what the family needed over the Christmas break. Very homely, private and easy access to the beach. Would happily recommend.

We enjoyed our stay with Hieke and Peter. They are very friendly and flexible and made us feel at home immediately. The room was spacious and had a walk in closet with plenty of room for our belongings. Their house is less than a block away to walking paths along the coast. We didn't have a chance to meet Hieke but we enjoyed chatting with Peter about his background, New Zealand life and recommendations for the area. We greatly appreciated the nice breakfast with eggs, use of the hot tub and the washing machine. We would defintely stay here again, given the opportunity!

Great location, straight onto the beach. Went to sleep listening to the waves. Ran 10Km in both directions on safe paths by the water. Local fish & chips too. Big comfy bed. Basic but everything I needed, loved it. Very friendly hosts.

10/10 highly recommend, super central, yet peaceful. Heaps of well displayed brochure of local activities for you to flick through, the bed! so comfy. The stay itself is so lovely and convenient, with everything you need and more; including games, gym, pool, and literally food places right on the door step. Felt well cared for in this B&B, cleanliness was spot on and the host Shelly, so responsive and friendly and really has thought of everything you would need to make this the prefect stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Asha’s AirBnb and cannot recommend it highly enough. It was great for a group of us, with multiple entertainment areas and private bedrooms. Amazing back section with a swimming pool which was a treat in summer. Thanks for letting us stay Asha, we had a great time.

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Super Ausblick auf die Marina vom sehr großen Balkon. Auch den Gemeinschaftspool haben wir zweimal täglich genutzt. Wir haben viel mehr Zeit in der Wohnung verbracht als geplant, weil wir uns wohlgefühlt haben.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans l’hébergement de Jane pendant le festival Art déco de Napier. Nous avons utilisé Uber et marché le long du front de mer pour nous rendre jusqu’au centre. L’hébergement était parfait pour la préparation de nos repas et relaxer sur la terrasse le matin et en fin de journée. Nous recommandons sans réserve d’y séjourner.

Plenty of room. Beds all very comfortable. Bedroom at garden end could do with some space for clothes hanging/storage. Ideal place for a short stay right opposite a long beach.

We absolutely loved the late-century family home right at the beach front. It was extremely peaceful and although the beach wasn’t safe for swimming it wasn’t too far to get to Waipatiki or the Napier town beaches. The views are absolutely stunning - day and night! The home is very specious and flooded with sunlight. Highly recommend to experience it yourself 🤗

Our group of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our time at Roz & Michael’s apartment in Ahuriri, Napier. The luxury apartment was huge, modern, spotlessly clean and appointed to a very high standard with quality furnishings, fittings, linens and towels. The bathrooms and pantry were well stocked. There was covered parking for two cars and lift access to the apartment making it easily to move luggage. The view was so spectacular we spent two of the afternoons, of our short time here, at the apartment so as to make the most of it. The hosts were easy to communicate with very helpful and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a visit to Napier.

This accommodation is perfect for a few days in Napier, if you have a car. It is situated right opposite the bay, and a short drive to the centre of town and has all the facilities you need. Shelley Is friendly, but not intrusive. The apartment is thoughtfully designed, clean and comfortable. We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Staying in an Art Deco architecture apartment is a truly gorgeous experience. You can lie in bed and watch the sunrise over the sea, a peaceful moment that can heal all the worries in life. Sandhya has decorated the house with such warmth and coziness. Every morning, sitting by the window, enjoying the sea view while having breakfast is simply delightful. Upon check-in, there was a small issue where the cleaner had forgotten to take out the previous trash, which attracted some ants. Sandhya promptly communicated with me and resolved the problem, and the ants were quickly gone. Rest assured, the apartment itself is free of ants. The apartment is located by the street, so there is a bit of noise in the morning, but if you wake up early, it won’t be a problem at all. Staying here is an excellent choice. I hope to stay in this lovely little apartment again the next time I visit Napier.

We loved our three night stay here. The ocean is very close across a grassy field. Beautiful beach. Lovely home. Excellent value compared to staying in downtown Napier and got to see more because of it. We only met Deidre as we were leaving but wish we had gotten to know her more. She was super friendly and kind. Only regret was that we didn’t get to meet Lemmy. I’ll definitely stay here next time we visit Napier.

Incredibly responsive and thoughtful hosts. The house is on the waterfront and is both gorgeous and spacious. The hosts have plentiful quantities of everything you could possibly need. A lovely stay.
