The house is perched on a hillside up a long flight of stairs, and parking in the driveway was a little tricky but manageable. Kurt was warm and welcoming and the quiet, comfortable space was everything I had hoped for. In the morning Kurt provided breakfast and I had a lovely chat with another guest, from Canada. A great experience overall, if only for the one night 🤗

Wir haben uns noch nie zuvor eine Unterkunft geteilt und waren anfangs etwas skeptisch aber Barb hat gleich im ersten Moment alle Zweifel ausgeräumt. Die Unterkunft ist absolut wie beschrieben, sauber und die Bettwäsche hat einen angenehmen Geruch. Die Location ist perfekt für Ausflüge zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto. Aber das beste ist Barbs Persönlichkeit! Sehr herzlich und freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen jedem, der in Napier Halt machen möchte, bei Barb zu übernachten.

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.

What a lovely house and hosts. Kurt showed me around the house and even drove me to the lookout point and a place to hitchhike the next day. I felt at home immediately. Would have loved to stay longer (sadly they were booked out). Great breakfast too. Highly recommended

Beautifully appointed cottage. Adored old style bay windows looking out to orchard/fruit trees. Attention to detail, high quality. Thoughtful nourishing and tasty breakfast. Lovely lighting. Quiet - slept deeply. Recommend highly!

This modern cottage is the perfect place to spend a few days in Havelock North, and is less than a five minute walk to the village. A spacious living/sleeping area, with an equally spacious bathroom and wonderful walk in shower. It is in a very peaceful location, with the cottage set at the back of a beautiful garden and well off the road. Trish & Don are lovely hosts, great with communication, and add plenty of home touches including providing continental breakfast, offer of e-bikes, and fresh figs from the fruit trees. What a wonderful time we had with Jane and John in their beautiful home. Some thoughts after spending time here. 1. The house. We're jumping on the "photos don't do it justice" bandwagon. The accommodation is spacious and you get an entire half of their house all to yourself. It's a beautiful space where every little detail has been thought through, making you feel comfortable and relaxed in a wonderfully luxurious setting. 2. The location is so peaceful and tranquil yet amazingly convenient to everything. You can be sitting at a cafe in Havelock North in around 5 mins or be up the top of Te Mata Peak in 15 mins. 3. The hosts, Jane and John, couldn't have been more welcoming and were very amenable to all our requests. They strike a perfect balance between leaving you in peace and privacy and being available to assist if and when needed. We enjoyed a wonderful time here and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Yvonne und Steve sind perfekte Gastgeber, von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise. Die Unterkunft ist bezaubernd und hat sehr viel persönlichen Charme. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die wunderbare Veranda genutzt, sehr gut geschlafen und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück genossen. Eines der besten und persönlichsten BnBs, die wir bisher besuchen konnten.

Set in a beautiful location amongst the vines on a hill not far from the ocean. Very peaceful and calm. The studio is basic but tastefully decorated and seperate from the house. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. James is a friendly and helpful host who is very responsive.

Quiet and peaceful. A relaxing place to rest after our busy days harvesting at a local vineyard. Neta is a wonderful host. Highly recommend. The home cooked breakfast each day was awesome. We loved staying at Kilmoylan. Heather is a fantastic, welcoming host and the room was spotless and beautiful, with a very comfortable bed. The location is beautiful, private and peaceful. We will definitely be back.
