Thanks for hosting us when we visited Napier. A beautiful, well appointed, clean and tidy apartment with absolutely stunning views, the apartment had everything we needed and more. Very secure, safe and quiet and secure carpark too. Will happily rebook when we return to Napier.

Amazing place to stay, return guests! Will aim to return every month now! The location is SUPERB right in the heart of Ahuriri. Shops and restaurants and cafes at your doorstep not to mention the beautiful beach out your front door! Alannah and Nait are fantastic hosts with stellar communication and attention to detail. This accommodation is perfect for a few days in Napier, if you have a car. It is situated right opposite the bay, and a short drive to the centre of town and has all the facilities you need. Shelley Is friendly, but not intrusive. The apartment is thoughtfully designed, clean and comfortable. We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Our group of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our time at Roz & Michael’s apartment in Ahuriri, Napier. The luxury apartment was huge, modern, spotlessly clean and appointed to a very high standard with quality furnishings, fittings, linens and towels. The bathrooms and pantry were well stocked. There was covered parking for two cars and lift access to the apartment making it easily to move luggage. The view was so spectacular we spent two of the afternoons, of our short time here, at the apartment so as to make the most of it. The hosts were easy to communicate with very helpful and I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering a visit to Napier.

A great spot for a busy weekend getaway. Plenty to watch from the lovely deck after grabbing a coffee which can be from a wee place next door to this gated complex. Close to bars and restaurants. Very responsive host who keeps a lovely home.

Staying in an Art Deco architecture apartment is a truly gorgeous experience. You can lie in bed and watch the sunrise over the sea, a peaceful moment that can heal all the worries in life. Sandhya has decorated the house with such warmth and coziness. Every morning, sitting by the window, enjoying the sea view while having breakfast is simply delightful. Upon check-in, there was a small issue where the cleaner had forgotten to take out the previous trash, which attracted some ants. Sandhya promptly communicated with me and resolved the problem, and the ants were quickly gone. Rest assured, the apartment itself is free of ants. The apartment is located by the street, so there is a bit of noise in the morning, but if you wake up early, it won’t be a problem at all. Staying here is an excellent choice. I hope to stay in this lovely little apartment again the next time I visit Napier.

Lisl was easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The upstairs apartment was very cosy and comfortable. Lovely outlook to the garden, lagoon and sea.

Had an amazing stay, will definitely be our 'go to' accommodation in Napier. Clean, tidy and clutter free! Had everything we could think of/need. Even though Della lived up stairs, you couldn't hear anything through the ceiling which was great! Della was very welcoming, even took our dog for a morning walk while she was taking hers! Husband gave great eating recommendations. I wish I knew Della had a hairdressing business close by as would have booked in for some pampering while we were there 😄

Plenty of room. Beds all very comfortable. Bedroom at garden end could do with some space for clothes hanging/storage. Ideal place for a short stay right opposite a long beach.

As we were attending the Art Deco Festival, the home design was appropriate. We had an enjoyable stay in this well-appointed comfortable house, recommended as a pleasant place to stay'

We absolutely loved the late-century family home right at the beach front. It was extremely peaceful and although the beach wasn’t safe for swimming it wasn’t too far to get to Waipatiki or the Napier town beaches. The views are absolutely stunning - day and night! The home is very specious and flooded with sunlight. Highly recommend to experience it yourself 🤗

We had an amazing stay. The location right opposite the beach was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The house was as described and I particularly like the living room - it was very cosy. Walking distance to some small shops, takeaway and a pub and only a short drive to Napier. Bron was great to deal with - highly recommend!

We had a really lovely 3 night stay at Black Cottage. Quality fixtures and fittings throughout with great attention to detail it was actually better than the photos! Easy walking distance to some fantastic eateries along a fairly busy road but pavements and crossing points along the way. Great and quick communication from Pete from day 1. Thanks so much

Incredibly responsive and thoughtful hosts. The house is on the waterfront and is both gorgeous and spacious. The hosts have plentiful quantities of everything you could possibly need. A lovely stay.

The house was perfect for what we needed and ideally located across the quiet road to the beach and walkways. House facilities were all we needed and comfy and clean. Think we’ll be back!!
