Our stay at Chelsea and Mathew’s cottage was top notch. The communication and instructions on all things related to the cottage were detailed and clear. From prior to booking and throughout the stay the communication was excellent. The house was clean and well kept, charming and welcoming. The bonus features of the wood burning stove and hot tub made this a must stay location for us and we couldn’t have been happier with what they added to the overall experience. I highly recommend the spot for its proximity to Black Mountain, what the house offers and the hosts were fantastic. We’ll be back for sure!

A great house and location right on the water. We arrived well after dark, Tom came and met us at the property to make sure we got situated. Plenty of room for a family of four and more. We enjoyed the boats and fishing and hiking in the area. The game room was nice to have on a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need. Really enjoyed our long weekend here.

There are not enough words in the English language to describe just how BEAUTIFUL this home is. The interior design took my breath away, this home was crafted with so much love and intention. The location is perfect for a quiet weekend, it’s peaceful and really allows for you to be in touch with nature. The hot tub was such a nice amenity that allowed for gorgeous nights star gazing. We will absolutely be returning in the summertime. In my 7 years of regularly staying in AirBnBs I can confidently say this is my favorite home. THANK YOU!!

We enjoyed our stay on Peaks Island. Laura’s home was walking distance to the ferry, had beautiful views of the ocean, was clean and comfortable and she communicated quickly.

We had a wonderful time at this vacation house in Maine. The views were breathtaking and the cottage was cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was perfect for me, my daughters and granddaughter!! It was close to so many things and to Old Orchard Beach and the Pier. We had a great time there and would stay there again in a heartbeat!! Thank you!

This bnb was super nice and clean. Exactly like the description. Hot tub was a plus. I’d love to stay again in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Milan’s place is a great value! How wonderful to find a place where a family of 10 can gather WITH pets! Room to spread out for movies, a game of pool or hot tubbing. It’s a space for lots of people…and lots of people mean lots of wear and tear. Even with that reality, Milan’s home reflects thoughtful care and consideration for groups who want comfortable together time. SO convenient to many White Mountain area attractions. We would definitely return and we thank you for a perfect space to make happy memories!!

This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. Elizabeth was a wonderful host and her home is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The house was spotless, well appointed, and very cozy. The short walk to the beach and town market is really convenient. Her rental is a perfect home base if you’re visiting Portland or exploring the Maine coast nearby.

This place is perfect! The house is so cute and cozy we didn’t want to leave. The hosts left a hand written card and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which was so thoughtful. Beautiful views and tons of privacy. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

Good place to stay lots of beds in a small footprint. Burners on the stove never got hot enough for me to cook my dinner or boil more than a cup of water but other than that everything worked great and check in and out was painless.

Beth’s place was the best weekend getaway from the city for my friends and I. The place was great and perfect for what we were looking for. I would highly recommend. Beth was a great host!

Cheryl's cottage was dreamy! We were dreaming of living there full time! It felt like staying in a storybook cottage!

This was the perfect place for us (2) to get away from the city for a long weekend. We were drawn to it by its private location amidst trees with a view of the river, the full kitchen, and its great value. Everything* was very clean, well decorated, and the amenities were comfortable. It was perfect for our party of 2, and the space is efficiently utilized, though cramped in a couple places. The screened-in game shed was one of our favorite spots to spend time. We would sit out there in the camping chairs, talk and listen to music, and breathe in the fresh air while watching the river. Though not formally part of the amenites, the farm at the beginning of the dirt road has cows, goats, ducks, etc. and that brought us a lot of joy to pass by them when coming/going. We checked out feeling very relaxed, peaceful, and happy. *I had read many other reviews mentioning dirty dishes, so I wasn’t too surprised when we found some.

If you love being near a peaceful and beautiful ocean setting and a cozy cottage vibe this is the place for you. Renee is nearby and very responsive if you need anything. Otherwise, you can just enjoy the setting and easily take yourself to the nearby restaurants or cook for yourself. A short walk to my favorite beach on earth. Check out the sandbar at low tide.

Beautiful location, perfect stay with amazing hosts! This was the perfect getaway for our family and we cannot wait to go back! The location can't be beat and Kate and Barry went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Dianne’s place was just right for my small family of three! The place was clean and well kept and had all the amenities one could need and even more than we expected. There was some construction going on at the house next door, which was a bit disappointing, but just a reminder that the house is in a community and not to expect complete silence at all times. Dianne was very responsive and kind, and all in all we had a very lovely time.

Don’t tell anyone about Shelley’s place! We want to be the only ones to be there!!!!! We had a beautiful time ! Me, my daughter and her 2 yr old son. The lake is soooooo clear and relaxing. Canoed every day. Loons in the lake everyday. Went and picked blueberries and went to the children’s museum😃 Close to Portland! We’ll bring the Daddy next time! Thanks Shelley

We rented one of the cabins at Lakehurst Cottages for a week in August. We were nervous because we were bringing up our boat and had a bad experience at another lake last year. Jim and Janet were so reassuring as to where we could keep the trailer and the location of a convenient boat launch. It all worked out great! Our cottage was a delightful 1 bedroom with sliders all around. There was everything we needed to cook meals. They have a fire pit with wood if you want to make a fire, or chairs to sit in by the water. Downtown Alton Bay was 4 miles away and we enjoyed walking around during an annual festival and craft fair. The town docks are plentiful and convenient if you have a boat. There is so much to do at Lake Winnipesauke and this cabin was in such a great location with great hosts - and guests!

The cottage was perfect for our needs and had everything! Auria was extremely helpful and responded to us quickly! I would definitely stay there again!

Amazing cabin, private but close to skiing, restaurants and activities! Marce and Josh’s cabin was perfect for an extended stay in the valley. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable and ensured we had a great stay. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen, the fire pit and how pet friendly the spot is. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was so quiet and peaceful. Vianna was responsive and even left us a little treat which made the stay all the better. very clean and the kitchen had everything! some spices, coffee, creamer etc.. highly recommend for a quiet getaway.
