We stayed for a week and loved it. The house is so peaceful and perfect for chilling out. Avoca Beach and Copacabana Beach are close by and have everything you need. The house was spotless and Henk gave thorough instructions and hints when checking in. I loved that there weren’t signs and instructions all through the house like some other airbnbs we have stayed at - it made it feel more like home.

We stayed over a weekend with our two children and some friends. It was torrentially raining for the first 24 hours which was bad luck and made the journey a bit trickier with cancelled ferries but we made it and the sun came out for us and we had a lovely weekend in the incredible surroundings of Mackerel Beach. It’s such a peaceful and magical spot. Relatively close to Sydney but it feels like you’re so far away when you wake up there. Claudia and Richard gave us detailed and clear instructions which made the logistics so much easier. The kids loved the cricket kit and beach equipment. We all appreciated the kitchen set up as we all like to cook. Eating out on the deck was really special. Will definitely be back to Mackerel beach.

Beautiful, well equipped house in a peaceful residential road. The upstairs living space was stunning and the view from the terrace lovely. The showers were great and it was a bonus that the upstairs bathroom had a bath which the baby made good use of. The kitchen was very well stocked, including plenty of condiments as well as herbs and spices. It is walkable to the beach and the Coast Cafe although it’s quite a steep walk on the way back! Just along the road is a great bakery that sells fab coffee and almond croissants that you simply have to try!

We stayed in Alex & Sam’s place for 2 nights and we did not want to leave. It was absolutely perfect. Spacious, clean, comfortable. We walked through the backyard to the beach multiple times a day. The beach is very quiet and beautiful. I cannot say enough great things about the accommodations here. It is also walkable to coffee shops. The neighborhood was quiet, the perfect beach getaway.

The house was beautiful and very conveniently located. The beach is just down the road and there is a small strip of cafes with a general store up the road. There was quite a bit of construction in the area which created some noise, but the area itself was lovely and made up for that. Would recommend for a group of adults or families looking for a quiet beach getaway.

Great Property, the only problem I have with this place is that the photos just don't do it justice. As soon as you walk down the hallway, you're welcomed to 240° views of the ocean, right at your door with nothing in the way. Fully private and lovely modern furniture with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's unreal! Stop thinking about it just book it.

The house has a spectacular view of the ocean, with direct access to the beach. We had a really comfortable stay and it’s very well equipped to host.

We had a great few days at Newport Retreat. Relaxing stay. Excellent outdoor area and pool. House warm feeling. Lisa was a great host. Highly recommend for a stay on Northern Beaches.

Great place to stay with few friends or with family for a quiet relaxing getaway.

Our party of 5 including grandparents and 2 yr old son had a lovely stay at Michelle's. we stayed for 4 nights and spent the mornings at the beach which is just around the corner and lazy afternoons in the pool. The garden and house are well maintained and very cosy for a family trip away. I'd recommend stocking up on food as there are currently no shops/cafes at Pearl beach, but it was handy having a coffee cart turn up next door in the mornings. Even though there is construction building next door, my 2 year old son loved watching the machines and was disappointed when they weren't working on the weekend！Thanks again for sharing your home with us Michelle, we will be back！

Abi’s place was fantastic for our girls weekend away. Abi was a responsive host who listened to any feedback or questions I had over our stay. Would stay again.

I’ve just had a wonderful relaxing weekend away staying at Moana Beach House with friends and our golfing hubbies. Place is beautiful, clean, fresh, spacious, as pictured with lovely plunge pool and nice views. Beds are very comfortable. Location is fantastic, only an hour drive from Sydney, 5 mins walk down the road to the beach, surf club, cafes that make nice coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. No need to cook or clean for the weekend away, yay! Our host Kim was prompt with communication, polite, friendly and very accommodating to our needs. We loved our stay at the Moana Beach House and will definitely be back!

Very helpful & accommodating. Thank you Hilde for the little things you did for us to accommodate our family holiday. A travel cot, change table and high chair for our 11 month old saved car space for our two little dogs to bring along. Very peaceful in a great location with loads in walking distance. Highly recommended.

Perfect house for a big family holiday! 6 adults and 1 tween - plenty of space for everyone! Loved the open layout of the house and all the lovely windows! We made great use of the pool and we loved the short stroll to the beautiful Macmasters Beach. The pool & ping pong table got a lot of use with our crew and provided hours of entertainment! Would happily stay again anytime!

Such a beautiful stay in this stunning property. The space was like new, beautifully and thoughtfully curated. It was the perfect spot for a weekend away with walking distance to everything one needs for a weekend in Palm Beach. Amethyst was proactive and lovely to deal with through the whole process. Will definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough!!

Our group had an amazing stay. The house was well equipped for 10 people, I was especially impressed with the well-stocked kitchen utensils and walk-in pantry. Quiet and peaceful area very close to the beach, though not too far from shops and restaurants. Appreciated Brent's prompt and friendly communication.

This is a wonderful house for a big group of people getting away together. It has everything you need in a holiday house: excellent location close to the beach, very well maintained and comfortable, well equipped kitchen, lots of comfortable beds and bathrooms, separate areas to relax, big decks, outdoor shower for post-beach, bbq, views etc etc. All the little things are looked after. I could go on! Lisa was an excellent host. One comment: the house might not suit people who struggle with stairs.

When I initially booked this house, I had high expectations after reading the reviews. I thought some of them might have been exaggerated, but they were absolutely accurate. The house was very spacious, had everything needed to accommodate all our guests, and was in the perfect location. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

My family enjoyed our stay at this right at home beach house. Everything was so well placed with artistic surprises at every corner. The hosts are easy to reach and make you feel right at home with complete privacy. I highly recommend and will likely visit again for a beach getaway!

I stayed here with my family and we all had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space for everyone, we all felt very at home and the location was great. A 2 minute stroll to the beach and our own pool! What more could we want!? Would stay here again.

What a wonderful week at Patonga. Margaret's place was just perfect for our post Christmas family relaxation. The view across to Palm beach is spectacular and the coming and goings of the boats was very entertaining. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. We loved the proximity of the water, just a hop skip and a jump. Having the pub and restaurant stumbling distance away was also very handy. Patonga has a lovely village feel and Margaret was a perfect host.

Perfect home for 4 couples. Everything you could need is there. The house is freshly painted and bathrooms recently renovated. This was the most lovely place to celebrate my milestone birthday with the family and bringing our fur baby was a bonus.
