This home is wonderful! It was very clean, spacious, the kitchen had everything needed, plus a waffle iron, blender... we LOVED the ping pong table and arcade game!! Since we stayed in winter, we couldn't use the kayaks... but that would have been fun, too :) The basement family room area was toasty warm. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. A great stay close to Nashville!!

The check-in process was seamless, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The space itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the cozy living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. Thank you, Matthew and company for your hospitality! We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed Linsey's place for a family Thanksgiving, with family members from three out-of-town locations. Great location in a residential, very walkable neighborhood. Restaurants, coffee shops, bars, bakeries are just a few hundred yards away at one of Nashville's hot spots, 12th South. Easy parking for one car in the fenced yard, and plenty of street parking. Our small dog found the fenced yard great, as well as meeting a plethora of dogs on walks. The house is quite functional and the images are accurate. It was nice to find a blender that we needed unexpectedly to remake a dish left accidentally at home. While the house is not large, it accompanied the six of us well and we liked that the living area is on one floor.

The house was so beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect amount of space for a large group. We went for my friend’s birthday and had a great time. We weren’t able to go out to Nashville one night due to the weather but still had a great time hanging out indoors! Chris was also such a great host and responded quickly to any questions/concerns I had about weather, etc. Will definitely be looking forward to book again!

House was nice and relaxing! Looking out over the River and watching the tugboats was my favorite view. We also had several deer just walk up into the backyard and eat grass. Loved..Loved the back porch with all of the rocking chairs.

Been to many houses on Airbnb and this one is by far the best place I’ve stayed very nice and clean

Me and my family enjoyed staying in Elle’s place where we had the full use of the lower floor which has its own deck facing the lake. All 3 bedrooms are pretty big and the living area was great to hang out with. The Place is very quiet.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The place was very beautiful and clean. Caleb communicated the check-in and check-out process very well. I would definitely recommend this place.

When searching for somewhere to stay in Nashville it can be difficult and overwhelming however, Don and Dora’s cottage not just because it has its own dock and an awesome cottage feel or the fact that they allow dogs ( which not many do) but it was how we were treated by them. They answered all of our questions fast and even sent us a video. I can’t thank them enough for allowing all of us to stay. From roasting marshmallows in the back yard to fishing in the mornings to even seeing deer come up to us. This place was everything we wanted and needed. Nashville was 20 mins away and the neighborhood was amazing. I will recommend everyone stay here don’t waste your time with anywhere else. We will be back! Thanks again Don and Dora!

I was surprised when originally it said check in time was 5:00 PM couple days prior to checking in. I did reach out and he responded right away that nobody was there day before and we could check in anytime after 1:30 which was a huge relief. I had not seen a check in time when I booked. Everything about the place was as described and perfect. Note: there are no lights on the dock for night fishing. Matt at no time said there were and when I asked him if there was a place to turn on lights he actually said we could run into town purchase something and he would reimburse us. I thought that was going above and beyond. Fishing was great. It was a very nice place. I did pay more than I usually do after fees and taxes more than I usually do per night. After our stay I would be tempted to pay the money to stay there in the future. Matt is a great host.

The property looked like the pictures. It was supplied with many more amenities than other Airbnb properties. Almost anything we could want was already supplied. They even had a pet station with supplies. We had a little hitch getting into the property, but were contacted immediately and it was promptly fixed. The property was beautiful, with lots of wildlife. The downstairs hvac system was very inconsistent, but we were able to make it work. The check-out instructions were very reasonable compared to other properties. Don & Dora supplied a very in-depth guidebook for the area. If we weren’t visiting locals already, it would have been very useful. Over-all, it was a very enjoyable trip in a very comfortable house.

A very special unique place! So nice to get out of the city to a beautiful country home. I would come back in a heartbeat. The screened porch was our favorite hangout. We made happy memories! Thank you Mimi for sharing this place with us.

Our group visited for a Bible conference with 8 young women. The space was perfect for what we needed for 2 nights. The kitchen was very cozy and where we spent most of our time eating and talking. We would recommend a stay here and we would come back.

Lauren and Jon were the most attentive, responsive, empathetic, and kind Hots I have ever experienced via AirBNB and I have stayed at quite a few properties. Their home was easy to find, very neat, clean, and aesthetically pleasing—everything you need to rest, relax, and unwind. Also, the location/area was very private, quiet, and close enough to any and all attractions without the hustle and bustle of the city. I will most definitely be returning. The cabin was just what we expected and was well-stocked to cook our meals. We loved relaxing in the sunroom and watching the bald eagles. The large and comfy bed also added to our comfortable and relaxing stay. Our puppy LOVED the chickens, and we enjoyed some eggs in a quiche I prepared for dinner one night during our stay. The hot tub was relaxing, and we enjoyed the view of the Cumberland River. We had a lovely long weekend.
