We loved our short stay at this beautiful lakefront vacation home. It was quiet and peaceful, and it has a lovely scenic view of the lake as soon as you drive up. It definitely exceeded our expectations. We would gladly stay here again.

Rachel was a wonderful host. We went away for a girl's weekend in the mountains. We felt right at home and didn't have to worry about having the necessary tools for cooking or relaxing. She thought of everything from the little helpful tidbits in the bathrooms to the kitchen. This spot is tucked away in a quiet, private spot. Wifi was strong, and everything worked great. The hot tub was a special touch, and my pup loved running around in the snow.

It was a wonderful home, me and the girls had a great spring break getaway!

Our group loved this stay in Wintergreen! Extremely accessible to the slopes, with multiple amenities included within our airbnb. Plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of supplies from top to bottom - if you forgot something, chances are the house has it! However, we found that the hot tub was not clean prior to our stay, and the bathroom floor heat was unavailable. Overall though, very nice stay and would recommend to others!🙂

We had such a great stay! Our family really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after our days of hiking. We appreciated the great small touches including the s'more ingredients, the delicious brownies, and seperate towels for the hot tub. The backyard is so peaceful. The house was very spacious and clean for a family of 4 that included 2 college aged kids. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much!

Very lovely cottage and vacation experience, within walking distance of east coast wings and star bucks. Hot tub and fire pit were lovely additions to the cozy feeling.

Our family had the most peaceful retreat to David and Kit’s cottage, and they were very generous hosts, treating us to a morning with the cows and rides around the farm. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed to feel right at home. There was so much opportunity to enjoy the outdoors both there at the farm and in the surrounding area: hiking at Douthat State Park, swimming in the Cowpasture River and the Warm Springs Pools, going on a carriage ride through the equestrian center at The Homestead, sightseeing the Falling Spring Falls and Humpback Bridge. We enjoyed starting and ending our days waking up to mountain views and the sound of the cows lowing in the fields and our walks around the farm, down to the river and up to the pond. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had in our 10+ years using the app. We’ve already shared this listing with friends and have started a list of what we’d like to explore next time we travel to Bath County.

Kind of bummed I was only here for the one night because this was such a great, comfortable place and near a lot of cool stuff. It was a layover stop on a long drive, but exactly what I needed. So cute and I loved the very secure and private yard for my canine roadtrip partner. I can't get over the awesome spa shower, which was the highlight of my night. The recliner sofa was so comfortable that I unintentionally passed out for most of the night there and then relocated to the bed, which was also lovely. I would definitely look here first if I'm in the area again, and hopefully stay longer to take advantage of the location more. Thank you!

Had a great stay! The area around the winery is secluded and quiet. This cottage is attached to the tasting room. We were there when the actual winery was closed for the week, so not sure if there’s more traffic when it’s open. Kitchen is a little lacking in counter space, but we found everything we needed in it to make a few meals. We had more than enough space to hang out as a family of 4. Loved sitting outside on the porch to enjoy a cup of coffee. If you are traveling with little kids, or people with mobility issues, be aware of the spiral staircase to get to the rooms upstairs - this was not a surprise for us and we were fine with it. Only wish we had had some options to get food delivered, but not a big deal if you plan for it. Also, as mentioned in the description, there are a few beetles/bugs in the house, guessing because of the wooded location. Again, nothing that would change our minds about staying here. Mary Scott and Mark's cottage was a wonderful little getaway. The cottage was quaint and cozy. Check-in instructions were very clear and our hosts were very responsive. It was a great location with beautiful surroundings and had many things to do within a 20-25 min radius. Downtown Charlottesville and Monticello were close by and were great day activities. We also really enjoyed the Glass House Winery which was about 5 min away. Beautiful home, highly recommend!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Beautiful location literally on top of the mountain! Enjoyed a quick walk over to the neighboring nature preserve along with numerous other thoughtful recommendations from the host. Private and quiet, yet also surrounded by a few resident neighbors so it doesn’t feel too secluded - perfect balance! Around 20 minutes to many nearby stores/restaurants in Cave Spring. Very clean and conveniently supplied with the essentials.

What a wonderful get away! Our family stayed here about 2 years ago and had such a wonderful time. We couldn't wait to get back and it didn't disappoint! We had a wonderful stay and weather was great. Such a wonderful peaceful place. We always feel right at home. Craigs Creek is such a beautiful clean creek. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, canoeing and just hanging out in the water. Definitely will be back again. So thankful this host shares and blesses others by offering their place to others. For being where it is, Wi-Fi/internet works great and there is even a landline! Thanks again

Our stay was perfect and what we expected. I had my dog with me and there was a lot of space to walk him. A nice surprise was an artist show on the grounds and displays of different art medium for browsing or buying. The cabin was clean and quiet. A great little place for a stay on our way to our final destination. Bonus was the nearby hiking trails.

Beth’s place was perfect for a quick trip to the Charlottesville/Crozet area! The location was perfect for driving for hikes, wineries, and restaurants. The space was clean and comfortable. Although it was renovated, lots of items and the structure appeared to be original, which was fun. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver after getting a bit muddy in the mountains! The peace and quiet of the surrounding area was great as well.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Cynthia's home. The recent remodel made the entire house feel brand new, and everything was spotless. The kitchen had all the essentials we needed for cooking, and we even liked one of the pans so much that we bought the same one! The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to sleep in longer than usual. The living room was the perfect spot to relax after our days of exploring Charlottesville and Richmond. The location was also very convenient, with everything we wanted to do just a short drive away. We're already looking forward to returning in the spring to enjoy the lovely yard!

What a beautiful stay! Truly a one of a kind location! I miss it already! I will be back again for another peaceful stay. Close to many great trials and Lynchburg was a really unique town, not far from the property at all. Highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Austen and Katie’s airbnb was the perfect spot for a weekend trip to Charlottesville with friends. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a hand written card in the kitchen upon arrival. This airbnb had all the amenities that you can think of— and more. From the gorgeous backyard, to the well-thought decor, to the spotless clean space. Austen & Katie went above and beyond to ensure that their airbnb is the perfect “home away from home” space. It was a fairly short drive to the UVA area. There is not one thing that the house lacked on. Thank you Austen and Katie for allowing us into your home, we cannot wait to book again!

This cozy cottage is a delightful country retreat! Quiet, beautiful light, birdsong & a visit from some deer in the nearby field - beautiful! Anne is a helpful, responsive, generous innkeeper. We always look forward to staying here.
