My family and I had an amazing experience in Kurunegala! The coconut plantation was a paradise for relaxation, and the host was outstanding. He provided us with excellent recommendations and was quick to respond to any questions I had during my family's stay. If you're looking for a tranquil forest experience surrounded by lush greenery, then this is the spot for you. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtfully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Excited to return for my next trip to Sri Lanka, and will definitely come back for round 2 in Kurunegala.

Wir hatten eines unserer besten Airbnb-Erlebnisse. Wir haben uns direkt wohl und wie zuhause gefühlt. Mahinda und Suneetha haben sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Mahinda ist mit uns los und hat uns die Umgebung nähergebracht, Suneetha hat hervorragendes Essen gekocht und es geschafft den Kindern Optionen zu geben, die sie mögen (was wirklich nicht einfach ist)! Die Unterkunft selbst ist blitzsauber und liegt absolut ruhig. Wir hatten eine kurze aber wunderbare Zeit! Vielen Dank!

Rien à redire sur ce logement, Shenal nous accueilli avec des noix de coco fraîche et porte une attention toute particulière à ce que l’on se sente comme chez nous. Petite mention spéciale: il y a deux chiens curieux qui viennent vous voir le soir, un mâle et une femelle ( qui est extrêmement maigre), n’hésitez pas à les nourrir ils sont adorable.

Die Blockhütte ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und hat einen interessanten Charme, vor allem durch das offene Bad. Der Garten ist wunderschön grün und gibt einem das Gefühl mitten im Dschungel zu sein. Banda ist eine sehr aufmerksame Person, die alles tut, damit man sich wohl fühlt und gut versorgt ist. Vor allem die frisch gepressten Säfte zwischendurch haben noch mal alles rausgeholt und das Essen von seiner Mutter, welches für kleines Geld dazuzubekommen ist, war super lecker. Auch waren wir ausreichend mit Getränken sprich Softdrinks und Wasser ausgestattet. Aufjedenfall weiterzuempfehlen. :)

My stay at Cultraverse was everything that it promised and more. Chamila was a warm an kind host, ensuring that I had everything that I needed, always there with a smile, and generous cups of strong tea. The place is peaceful, the accomodation, clean and cozy. Also visited nearby beautiful paddy fields, and caught a sunset by the lake.

Ein Paradies mitten in der Natur! Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes – abgelegen, mitten in der Natur, umgeben von nichts außer wunderschöner Landschaft und den Geräuschen der Tiere. Perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen, abzuschalten und einfach mal komplett zu entspannen. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Abendessen – hausgemacht, mit viel Liebe zubereitet und unglaublich lecker. Jeden Abend wurden wir mit köstlichen Speisen verwöhnt, was unseren Aufenthalt noch unvergesslicher gemacht hat. Wer eine Auszeit vom Alltag sucht und die Natur liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

This place was absolutely heaven on earth. It’s called coconut escapes. Set on a beautiful coconut plantation, surrounded by rice paddy fields and very rural,the villa is set on its own in the grounds which is part of its amazing charm. It’s approx a 15minute tuk tuk drive to Kurenegala town The staff couldn’t do enough for us and made our stay a wonderful experience. They arranged a shooting activity and an evening tractor ride around the villages (free of charge) Breakfast is included and you could choose from English breakfast or Sri Lankan curries and fruit platters with curd and honey. A 4 course dinner menu was available for $20. Our washing was done for us and all prices were very reasonable. The beds were comfortable and the upstairs room has an open air shower with views of the palm trees Very efficient a/c. Peacocks, kingfishers and birds abound, chipmunks and a lovely housedog. Fireflies and a bat visited at night. This place is highly recommended. We will return 🙏🏻

We vonden het een prachtig huis met een fantastisch zwembad in een rustige omgeving. De verzorging van Sarath en de tuinierster waren prima. Op alle vragen kwam Sarath prompt met een antwoord. Wij vonden het ook heel lief dat ze ons zelf geplukt fruit kwamen brengen. De gastvrijheid was zeer bijzonder. Kortom het was een genoegen om aan de forest avenue te verblijven. Ook voor langer verblijf is het een prachtige stek. Alhoewel er in de directe omgeving weinig te doen is het verblijf toch zeer de moeite waard omdat met de verschillende vormen van vervoer de mooiste plekken goed te bereiken zijn. Wij vinden het huis en de omgeving zeer aan te raden.
