Fiona was an excellent host the place was lovely and clean, fantastic view of the sea. Everything was clean and welcoming. Took my Nan to visit unfortunately had to cut the stay short due to my nans limited mobility and dementia but we will definitely visit again with the children! The long beach front was very accessible for the wheelchair a Lovely sandy beach, crazy golf, aqua splash a few local restaurants, outdoor gym, cinema :-) It’s a shame my Nan couldn’t manage the stairs to the living room/lounge at the house so bare the house layout in mind if booking to stay with somebody who has limited mobility. Only nit pick thing I can think of was the tvs were all used via Wi-Fi which we had issues with possibly due to the windy weather affecting signal. Fiona was quick to reply to any questions and more than happy to help with anything we needed :-) overall a lovely place will visit again :-)

Nice house in a good location. The beach is across the road and there are a few restaurants nearby, but we didn’t try them. The splash park, play park, ice cream hut etc is a good 10 minutes walk away, but great for small children. There isn’t that much around, therefore we went into Port Talbot town one evening to eat, and went into Swansea town centre another day. Overall, we had a good time and experience, and would recommend.

This is on the edge of the village, 1km walk to pubs/cafe and trail, but is less than 1 minute from Dinas Rock and a fabulous walk to yr eira waterfall. Near perfect location for ability to just walk out and walk for a couple of days, for longer stays other trails are only short distance by car. Private garden with a dog poo bin outside the back gate, additional cafe in village hall round the corner but only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Tried both pubs and cafe and went to each more than once as all lovely and varied. Would definitely recommend property and location. Also really helpful maps in the property to assist with planning the day. Would highly recommend accommodation and location and will hopefully return soon.

Lovely and cosy. Gorgeous decorative items. Wonderful kitchen. Great walking access to local landscape, church and great pub, as well as day trip options into the Brecon Beacons areas. Great communication from hosts. Our 70+ yo legs managed the stairs, just, but downstairs Mud Room was a lifesaver. Overall, a fabulous few days.

Group of us had great time in Hen Beudy. The place is exactly what we needed for trail running race in the area over the weekend. Very spacious house with lots of room, its warm, practical and clean with downstairs hard flooring. Relaxing in hot tub while watching green surroundings was lush after running those hills. It is in very peaceful location with no other houses just the forest so very quiet. Plenty to do in the area, weekend is not long enough. Phil and Debbie are great hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to go back to stay there again.

Lovely cozy traditional cottage in great location for a short break. More spacious than anticipated from the photos, wish we could have stayed for longer. Welcoming and communicative hosts. Would recommend.

Had a lovely stay with my family, cottage is very cosy and has everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay. Local walks, cafe and restaurants that were recommended were lovely too. Hosts are great and community very friendly.

Excellent host, Leah is very helpful and kind, we were really made to feel welcome, along with our dog. Recommend using ‘what3words’, instead of Apple maps to find the precise location (as we ended up in the wrong place). Location is peaceful, and less than 10 mins drive to local amenities. We stayed during cold weather, so the underfloor heating and log burner was amazing! Everywhere was spotless and everything you could need was provided. Hope to stay again in the future. Thank you!

4 of us and a dog used the lodge as a base for walking. It was warm and comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous after a day on the hills. Plenty of eateries in walking distance.
