We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

Great location for both the City and Peaks. Open plan living area gave plenty of space for 6 adults, an infant and a pet. The place was well-equipped and well-thought-out with everything we needed.

Lovely clean, comfortable and welcoming home. Really well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, nice lounge. Bathroom has a lovely big bath and really good shower. Close enough to town centre and good bus and train transport links. Local shops and takeaways on the door step. Be warned walk to Buxton town steep on the way back! Overall fabulous stay in a lovely home.

Stable Cottage was perfect for our short weekend break in the Peak District. The cottage is charming and had all the amenities we needed for our stay and more! It is located in a very peaceful village but has great access to the Roaches and surrounding walks. Mark was very responsive and we felt right at home. Thanks again Mark for our wonderful stay!

Colin's place was lovely, we felt right at home! Loved all the quirky collections around the house. Everything in the house was clearly thought out especially the binder! It had everything from house manuals to places to eat and explore around Thurlstone/Penistone. The location was an ideal base for nature walks/hikes as it's only a few steps from trans-penine trail. It was lovely to meet Colin on our way out too!

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Great stay, from booking to arrival to departure all communication was prompt and all information was provided. The accommodation was also lovely, and in beautiful surrounds. Highly recommended

Lovely property at Eider Cottage - photos probably dont do it justice. Great location to head out to some of the walks up at Holme. Little bit hard to find but that adds to the charm of the village.

Quirky little place. Clean, kitchen has everything you need to make a few small meals. Great view from the hot tub. Good location. And very tasty cake left for our arrival.

Our second stay at Gemma's place was just as good as the first. Three years later, the place has clearly been well maintained. The cleaning company are excellent; everything was spotless and perfectly presented when we entered. Towels, bedding and complementary provisions were just right. We found it easy parking outside the property (2 cars no problem). A small problem with the keys (one broke!) was solved by Glen straight away after a quick phone call. We look forward to our third visit to the cottage.

What an amazing place Scott has , the location is perfectly located to many walking routes and so much more! We went out on a few walks and coming back to Scott's place was exactly what we needed , home away from home , hot tub to relax in . The apartment is beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. Whatever your reason for staying there the apartment will certainly cater to that! We absolutely loved our stay, Thank you Scott and will certainly love to return again as we have a few more walking routes to conquer! Regards Gene , Rachel and Bentley

A great house in a peaceful area of the Peak District, with plenty of space for five people (plus a dog). The rooms were all spacious and tastefully decorated. The views from virtually every window were spectacular. Thank you very much to the hosts.

Celebrated Husband’s 50th birthday with our family. Fantastic accommodation, don’t feel the pictures do it justice. Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, everything you could possibly need. Village lovely to walk around, good choice of shops and pubs. Communication good and prompt. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Fantastic clean and homely cottage, very well equipped kitchen with more than enough appliances, large collection of books and games, lovely wood burner in cosy lounge area with comfy seats, upstairs to lovely spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and also a lovely sun lounge off the landing, all in all a great cottage in a lovely local area, would definitely recommend it, well done Keith & Sheena loved the stay

Sharon made me feel welcome from the moment I booked her Hut . No question asked was ever too much. I was arriving late and she made sure the outside lights were on so I could see my way. She was fine when I had to change the date of my arrival by one day. And when I had forgotten my phone charger she and her husband were quick to my aid with a usb plug ! I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality , making me feel welcome and for providing me with an incredible place to stay. The hut is well equipped and came with a lovely little welcome gift (perfect after a long drive), the fire pit was ideal for stargazing with a bottle of wine and I was plenty warm at night when I slept! I would go back in a heart beat.
