Bill's awesome. My family spent Thanksgiving at his place and I reached out ahead of time to find out if there's a mixer for our whipped cream. I would've brought mine from home, but within 2 minutes, he had ordered one to be delivered prior to our arrival! He responded to my questions within minutes. Adorable kitchen worked well for our TG prep. Dining room is in a cozy window-laden spot that was perfect for doing puzzles. Bedrooms have really comfy beds and linens. Bathroom is small, but has everything you need - plenty of fresh thick towels and the water pressure is impressive. Ping-pong table = fun. Backyard was perfect for our dog when we didn't have the time to spend in Court Square Park, conveniently located right down the road. There are two off-street well-lit parking spaces. And the location is fun - eat, drink and shop; catch a movie; just walk around and stumble upon a street performer. All good. UVA is a short walk down Main Street, cideries and wineries a short drive. Go!

We had a lovely stay in "The Small House" over President's day weekend. The house was spacious enough for 5 guests and our dog. Loved that it was decorated for Valentine's day! The house was well situated in the valley so there was easy access to Wintergreen, hiking trails and all the breweries and wineries!!

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Beautiful and very clean house! It was exactly what we needed for a bachelorette party weekend! The host was very helpful with all the answers on my questions about hiking trails around that area etc. we will definitely be going back-hopefully soon!

Great farm house and wonderful experience. Was so nice to be able ti being the dogs. They loved the field.

We had a great stay at the Critzer House. It was just as described and perfect for our two families of four. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out together or retreat to separate spaces for some quiet time. The sunroom was great for starting the day with coffee and finishing with adult beverages. The location was ideal...30 minutes or less to incredible hikes, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Easy walk to Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner after a long day exploring the beautiful surrounding area.

Simply put, this could not have been a better stay. This place had everything we needed and was a short and super easy trip to the slope. The golf course being closed also made it easy for us to get our pups energy out. I highly recommend this spot to anyone coming to stay at the resort. Carol did amazing job communicating and even was willing to work with us on check out time so we could hit the slopes on chekout day. Will definitely be renting again next season if available.

We really enjoyed staying at the Little House in Staunton. This home is comfortable and within walking distance of downtown with a wide variety of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. (Staunton is not flat, so expect some moderate hills.) We were there during a spell of early warm weather, so the back porch was a great place to relax. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean and had what we needed for our stay. The king bed downstairs was very comfortable, the a/c worked well, and it is well furnished with couch, table and chairs - very homey. The TV was perfect for streaming from your favorite accounts. We did not use the upstairs, but there are also two single beds. The information book was filled with things to do and see - conveniently divided into walking and driving distances. For those with mobility issues, it is a high step into the shower and there are no grab bars, so you should keep that in mind. The Little House was a nice home away from home for our weekend in Staunton.

My fiance, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at Susie's! The condo was well stocked with anything you may need during your stay. The dog bowls and towels were a thoughtful addition right as you walked in. The bed was comfortable and we loved having the TV up there to unwind after a day of hiking around nearby trails. We ended up having to reschedule the days that we were coming, and Susie made that process very easy. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come to the area!

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

Lovely spot in the mountains! Perfect if you're planning to hike! The space was cozy and clean; we brought our two dogs and had fun all sitting by the fire inside! It was thoughtful of her to have laundry detergent pods for us to use. The master bed was comfortable, which I don't find myself saying too often in Airbnbs! Overall, it was peaceful and quiet - a great getaway from the city.

It was a great stay here! It’s in the Wintergreen Resort which was great for hikes with the pups, restaurants within walking distance at the resort, and not too far of a drive to wineries & breweries. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay; the house looked exactly like on the photos, and was properly cleaned before we arrived. Charlotte was very responsive, gave us great recommendations for local kid-friendly hikes and helped quickly resolve any issues that came up during our stay.

The view is stunning!! Nothing beats waking up on top of a mountain! Mary Beth and Gregg have very helpful instructions to find their home. The house was clean, comfortable, cozy, and well stocked! They had great recommendations for restaurants and shopping in the area. They were very communicative and responded quickly with any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay and what Wintergreen had to offer! Wintergreen is a very beautiful place!

Lindsay’s place was perfect for our family’s ski weekend. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. The views were amazing! Lindsay was a great communicator and very responsive host. Highly recommend!

Fran was an exceptional host, and the yurt was such a fun way to ring in the New Year. I won't mince words: it was chilly, but the buddy heater was a welcome amenity, and the bed was beyond comfy and piled high with blankets. The bathhouse 250 steps away was terrific, but by far and away my favorite perk was the en suite--the composting toilet around the corner on the deck, something I didn't know about until I arrived! Fran thinks of everything, and, given I was starving on arrival, the freshly baked bread was such a welcome treat. If you're a beer drinker, don't miss Blue Mountain Barrel House & Smokin' Barrel Restaurant. Thank you, Fran!

Very clean and airy space. The kitchen was stocked with every tool needed to cook your own meals. I'm a coffee drinker so I appreciated the Keurig cup/drip combo machine. However, I would bring your own coffee if you are particular. The rooms were spacious with private bathrooms. The location is wonderful as you are on a mountain and can see the a beautiful scene during sun rise and set. There is even a very picturesque spot at the bottom of the street that takes about 5mins by foot. Jayme was very communicative before, during, and after our stay. We did run into a few issues but they were (are being) addressed. When we visit the area again, we will be sure to contact Jayme for another stay. Thanks

I’ve been to wintergreen every year and Angela was very helpful and place was spectacular!

Mary Scott and Mark's cottage was a wonderful little getaway. The cottage was quaint and cozy. Check-in instructions were very clear and our hosts were very responsive. It was a great location with beautiful surroundings and had many things to do within a 20-25 min radius. Downtown Charlottesville and Monticello were close by and were great day activities. We also really enjoyed the Glass House Winery which was about 5 min away. Beautiful home, highly recommend!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Jonathan and Sibylle are really wonderful AirBnB hosts that clearly care about their guests comfort and amenities. It was the perfect serene spot for a long weekend in Virginia and I was grateful for the additional goodies they had waiting for me upon arrival and how responsive they were to my questions. funky cool area in Charlottesville, near good restaurants and not a long walk to downtown, main music venues and more restaurants.

We had a great time staying here. The house is in a great location- a minute or less from downtown Crozet restaurants and shops and very close to many nearby attractions- less than 5 minutes from Pro Re Nata Brewery and less than 10 minutes to Septenary and King Family wineries. The beds were very comfortable and the two full bathrooms were great upstairs. The house was well stocked with spices and a full kitchen. We had a question about turning the heat on and the host responded almost immediately via the app- communication was great!
