My family and I have stayed at many hotels and accommodations, but Susanne and Dave’s Misty Ridge was truly the best of the best! We spent an unforgettable weekend there (2 nights and 3 days) and my entire family was beyond happy. The stunning house sits atop a mountain, surrounded by breathtaking views and friendly wildlife—walabies, kangaroos, cockatoos, monitor lizards, and possums. Trust me, the place looks even better than in the photos! Both the interior and exterior were spotless and beautifully decorated, creating such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The spa, located right next to the house, was an absolute highlight! I’ve already recommended this gem to many friends and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. I can’t wait to bring my family back again. Hopefully very soon! I feel so lucky to have found this place and can’t thank Susanne and Dave enough for their hospitality. Thank you! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Sugarloaf. The cabin is very well maintained, decorated and came with all the special touches you’d want for a perfect stay. The spa, kangaroo food & provisions including muesli and jams were especially appreciated. The landscaping is also immaculate whilst also being very well integrated into the nature. You can tell the owners really care about this place, especially when you see some other cabins on the same street that are far less well maintained. The only thing that could be improved is to note in the listing that the tap water comes from a tank so has to be filtered before you can drink it. Tim did provide a jug filter but as we had a baby and toddler with us we had to bring a lot of bottled water for drinking / sterilising. He did let me know a couple of days beforehand which was good. Other friends of ours had the same situation in nearby cabins but weren’t told and that left them in a pickle as the shops are a long way away. We’d love to stay again!

Beautiful location and the most perfect little cottage to stay in. The cottage had everything we needed for a couple of nights and the scenery was gorgeous. While I didn't partake in the jacuzzi or sauna, it gave us something to try out when we come back (because we will definitely be returning). Loved the little touches of the robes, the wine and the chocolate and the bathroom was ENORMOUS. Highly recommend this piece of paradise to anyone.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

We had the best time at Twig + Wren! Where to start?! The property itself is spacious and immaculate, with everything you need and more. The hosts have put a lot of thought into making sure you have everything you need to feel at home. The views are stunning, the scenery is breathtaking and so peaceful. One of the best parts was the wildlife. The animals around the property were so friendly and added a special touch to the whole experience. Communication with the host was top-notch. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. We'll definitely be back!

6 of us booked David's airbnb for a much needed Boys weekend and can I just say we were not disappointed one bit. The boys had a great time chilling thanks to the game room where we spent hours. Eventhough it was cold weather we managed to have a quick dip in the pool. The property is massive, we had such a good time and we knew we didnt have much time to explore it. However, we asked David if its possible to get a late checkout and he allowed us to stay till 4pm. This was the first for any of us where everyone was relaxed after a long night of doing "Boys things". We will definitely be coming back in summer time to use the pool a bit more.

Michael is an excellent host and brilliant with regards to communication. He is very responsive and helpful. When we arrived, the place was very clean and there were a few extra nice touches we did not expect. There is a decent fridge, and cooking cooking range, plenty of utensils, glasses and crockery. All you need is to bring the milk and other groceries. The loungeroom has a very good air-conditioner installed which works well. In the kitchen there are instructions for guests including emergency contacts. The cabin has excellent amenities, including a BBQ, dartboard out the back and a few games for guests to play. The beds were comfortable and we were very happy with our stay. The location was great for us as we were attending my daughter's wedding at Mystwood which was about 8 minutes away. There is a Hotel just a short walk away. Overall, for us the stay was comfortable and inviting Thank you Michael for being such a great host. We were very happy and highly recommend it.

Carol's site is very peaceful in the middle of nature. The DayDreamer - our accomodation - was the perfect set up for 2 families with many kids and 2 dogs! A lot of space outside to play as the campsites were not occupied during our stay ;) Very relaxing! Also plenty to do short drives away from 10 to 30 min (beach, horse ridding, treetops, even go karting near Newcastle!!) ; plenty to keep everyone busy. If your thing is eating / coffeeing out, there may be other better suited options but it was perfect for us! Thanks.

What an awesome space. We spent Christmas at The Wilds and it was just superb! Everything we needed was there. The place is gorgeous and so many amazing little details, just gorgeous! Highly recommend! The local Trading Post had a great pub/cafe, a shop for all your needs and a great gift shop. There’s also a free local pool for the locals (ask at the pub, if they like you they might give you the code to get in). Overall a fantastic experience!

Very cute idyllic weekend cabin Super comfy bed and living space. Has everything you need to enjoy a weekend by the fire with family. Location is great and we all had a lovely stay

We loved our 3 nights at Green Acres. Best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The extras provided including the carrots for Honey and Sunny were most appreciated.

They were both very accommodating and welcoming from the get-go. So easy to deal with and always quick to ask if we needed anything. I loved the serenity and peaceful street and surroundings so it’s overall just a beautiful place to stay and I would stay again and recommend to anyone. Great place, great location and great hosts.

We had a great time. Louise from the start was helpful. Property is so beautiful and peaceful, away from civilisation I would say. Perfect getaway if you want to relax for a few days. House was clean and very cosy. Would definitely recommend and come back again ☺️

Tha cabin was very clean and we had convenient and clear instructions to get in. It is not a house but a high standard cabin in a holiday park. The park was quiet and the swimming pool great. Access to the beach from the holiday park, 2 mn walk. Easy and beautiful beachfront. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

We stayed at Danielle’s for 14 nights using it as a base to visit family and the Central Coast. The location is beautifully quiet, off the road and very private. The cottage, a converted stable block, is rustic and authentic, well presented and beautifully clean. The beautifully appointed bathroom with a great shower, is situated in a separate building only a very short distance from the front door and a late night trip to the loo provides a wonderful view of the night sky. Danielle was a delightful host who was quick to respond to any questions and on hand to help. I would thoroughly recommend Danielle’s cottage to anyone wishing for a relaxing break away from it all.
