The most beautiful, peaceful spot. Beatrice was a wonderful and communicative host and the room was extremely comfortable. We couldn't ask for more. Great location if you want to explore both the town and the coast/Abel Tasman. you will need your own car.

Ada’s cabin is top notch and truly a gem. The cabin has everything you need and it all worked to perfection. The cabin was spotless. The views are stunning and it’s quiet and peaceful there. Liz is a wonderful host and the hospitality is outstanding. The fridge had eggs and local treats when we arrived. We can highly recommend Ada’s cabin and will definitely come back if we are in the area.

This was an awesome place to stay for Nelson Clay Week. It's a very short drive to downtown, has a great view, and is across the street from a lovely restaurant. It's a short walk to the beach. The accommodation itself is very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is well-provisioned. It is located on a busy, main street so there is some commercial traffic. I'd be happy to return.

Caroline’s home is spectacular for so many reasons! She has a beautiful home inside and out and the decor was top notch! Caroline was a very gracious and welcoming host … will definitley be back!!! Thank you Caroline we truly appreciate you!

One of the most comfortable airbnbs we have ever stayed. Colleen and family are supremely thoughtful and have built an incredible cottage in a beautiful region of New Zealand. It’s clear they have considered and curated every detail about your stay. From a lovely and abundant local welcome basket, to the luxury bedding, to the quality supplies (fully stocked kitchen, laundry, bathroom, etc.), to the seamless indoor and outdoor setting, to the unobtrusive hosting style. A couple or a small young family could easily spend a week here. We loved it so much we considered coming back 2 weeks later. You can spend time reading the rest of these gushing reviews or you can just book this absolute gem and never look back. Colleen even helped us out while we had an emergency hundreds of kilometers away. A true host - in all senses of the word. We are so grateful.

Me and my friends had an amazing time. Very sunny and nice place to stay with great location everything was walking distance and had amazing views and amenities. Would defiently recommend.

The Twig is in a beautiful place and very well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Luke and his wife were very welcoming and helpful when needed.

My husband, three month old baby, and I had such a lovely stay at Beryl’s cottage. The lush scenery, birdsong, outdoor bath tub, visits from the sheep and alpaca, and personal touches around the house were highlights for us. We felt right at home in the cozy space, and wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Valerie and Ewan were very friendly and a highlight was their spectacular garden. We were very lucky to be able to help ourselves to the abundant veggie patch. Lots of yummy treats left for us on arrival. Good small supermarket, a couple of pubs and the amazing bakery. We had a very peaceful Xmas/New Year here.

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

Honestly the best place we stayed in NZ- sad it was only one night! Beautiful apartment, incredible bed/bedding and with a swimming pool outside the front door. Couldn’t fault a thing, and very much loved the puppies! Thank you Zoe, great host and property. We’d love to come back.

Neville’s welcome and induction was friendly and thorough. A lovely quiet spot in the best little holiday spot in the area. Beautiful sandy golden beach swimmable at all tides. Nice walks nearby. Very comfortable flat , spacious and well set up. Good beds and lovely linen.

If you want to spend a few days in paradise, this is the place to do it at. Scott also brought our little daughter a big box of toys to play with, making it a very homely experience for us. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very relaxing stay at Kristy’s spacious apartment, which was very welcome after our 8 days of tramping. The location is great, really walkable into the city Centre. The views are glorious, towards the city and the mountains. Kirsty and Shane are delightful hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them both. Five stars, would recommend.

We had a very welcoming and lovely stay. We came back after few days camping in Abel Tasman Reserve, and the beds and shower with beautiful view were amazing. Deb is very helpful and had loads of tips for what to do in the area. The breakfast is also very good. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful heritage homestead, lovely environment and outdoor settings, great ambiance with luxourious features, including the bed, the furniture and the decor. Friendly and attentive hosts. This BnB is a definite must stay while in Motueka - will definitely return.

Very kind people, very welcoming. Me and my partner got off our long flight to Nelson all the way from Amsterdam and we were exhausted. Val picked us up from the airport, which we really appreciated and I had one of the best nights of sleep in my life. Bathroom is very clean and neat. The homemade bread and jam were very delicious.

We love Karen and John's home. Very beautiful and stunning views from our room of the ocean. Karen was such a lovely and caring host. They made us feel so welcome and were very helpful with recommendations of the area. Karen was very accomodating of us and always helpful. John cooked us the most beautiful breakfast which topped of a beautiful stay. We left with such a great feeling. They are such a lovely couple and we highly recommend that if you are wanting to stay in the area, this is the place to stay. We will be coming back to Ruby bay just to stay here again. Cannot recommend Karens Ruby bay home enough. Thank you Karen and John.

Beautiful place and location, and Sally and Wayne are very welcoming. A cute little village with great restaurants and ice cream is just a short walk down the beach. I highly recommend this spot for anyone, but especially for people interested in sitting on the deck soaking up the gorgeous scenery !

Rosemary’s place was excellent, clean, convenient and we had off street parking as well as the ability to do our laundry which we very much appreciated after 4 days kayaking on the Abel Tasman. Rosemary was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Peter’s hospitality and kindness are both heartwarming and we felt welcome from the start. He has a very special home and garden/orchard and his passion for plants and the natural environment really shows. He shared several of his plums and apples with us, as well as homemade bread and fruit leather. The location is serene, yet close to several vineyards and a general store. What a special stay!

This has to be the loveliest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. It couldn’t be better located to explore all the local wineries and eateries. The barn is a cosy, brilliantly equipped, perfect and pristine retreat after a day sampling Marlborough’s offerings. Andrew and Wendy have to be kindest and most thoughtful hosts out there. We had the most wonderfully relaxing 2 nights here.
