Great fun stay. Easy checkin/checkout. Location was just enough away from downtown to enjoy the quiet but close enough to walk into town.

The house is just as described. It is a beautiful and charming house in a picturesque setting. Our group enjoyed the decor including many antiques.

This place is amazing! We visited for spring break, with two kids (12 and 9) and two adults. We wanted a place away from it all to relax and enjoy nature. This was it! From campfires to ping pong, we had a terrific time. Previously, we’ve stayed at the same place, which was sold. This is going to be a new go-to place! It’s incredibly clean (walk in your socks and still look clean!) with the most comfortable beds ever!! The tin room sounds amazing when it rains. The host was super responsive, replying back immediately when we had questions. The kitchen is fully equipped with great cast iron skillets and a legit coffee maker (we brought our own but didn’t need it). The washer and dryer worked great. The location felt very safe and secure. The cows were fun neighbors. We loved our stay so much, we booked our next visit while we were still there.

This beautiful home is exactly as described. Alan left notes regarding places to see and restaurants to try. The home is located in a peaceful rural setting. Perfect for 2 couples or a family. The home was very clean and inviting, with lights left on to find our way in. We chose this home because of its location to the places we wanted to visit. All within an hour drive. Of course, the Bourbon distilleries were 1st on our list. Mammoth Cave National Park, Perryville Battlefield, Abraham Lincoln's birthplace, Swope cars of Yesteryear museum, Fort Duffield, Fort Knox, George Patton museum. We hope to visit the Bardstown area again and would be honored to stay in this HOME away from home. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

A great house to celebrate a friend’s 70th! The house was equipped with everything you need including spices, coffees, creamers and even laundry detergent! The guys spent time in the “Sports Bar” that had everything from air hockey to a pool table. 3 huge televisions to watch their sports. We were very fortunate with the weather on Friday, 82 and sunny. Finished the night off sitting at the outdoor fireplace. Rained late on our 2nd day but enjoyed cooking and chatting in the main room. Melissa, the Host was extremely helpful and communicated almost instantly! Wonderful home and beautiful location!

I cannot say enough amazing things about our stay at The Barndo!! The space was amazing- clean, spacious, peaceful, private, and the game room was a huge hit! The host was soooo responsive- above and beyond any host I’ve ever experienced! We had no issues with the house during our stay but bad weather was coming in and the host responded quickly to all our questions. The only note I want to include, and this is just the nature of a barndominium, is the open concept creates an echo-y space. It didn’t disrupt our stay at all but could if you need a super quiet sleeping space. The location of the house is amazing- being so close to Bardstown. I recommend visiting the Evergreen Liquor Store- if you find a potato you get the chance to buy a more rare bourbon! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this rental!!
