This is our 2nd time staying at Mike's place. The cottage is perfect for our family of 4 (kids are now 4yo and 5yo). It's about a 10min drive to the top of the mountain to snowboard at Wintergreen 🏂 we will def stay here again!

Our friend squad (3 couples) loved our stay at this adorable home! Sarah was easy to communicate with and super responsive! The house had everything we needed and was VERY clean on arrival. Having bathroom and kitchen "necessities" provided was a nice bonus. This house is located directly on the Nelson 151 Trail so it is super convenient to wineries, breweries and restaurants. Our weather was not cooperative so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely firepit out back with the nice views. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

This was a perfect two night getaway with our family. The house is very clean. The views are beautiful. There are lots of things to do in the area not far from the house. We enjoyed taking the short path to the brewery for a couple of meals. The food is great! We sat by the fire and soaked in the hot tub. Martha’s instructions were very easy to follow to check in and checkout. She was very responsive. We appreciate that she also offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. Gorgeous surroundings. The cabin itself is better than the pictures. It is a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. Bill is an excellent host. I felt very comfortable communicating with him. He left a detailed instruction booklet, complete with the story of the cabin. Reading it made me feel like I had met him in real life and had a personal connection.

Me and some buddies stayed here over spring break and it was the perfect place to stay. The location was great and was very close to all the places we wanted to go to. We had no problems whatsoever and we felt very welcomed and at-home with them. The wood stove saved us on the cold nights and we couldn’t complain. The hosts are very respectful and extremely friendly. This was a great trip and we would definitely stay there again!

We loved the coziness and comfort of the house! Our kids loved sleeping all together in the twin/trundle beds. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Deanie’s place. It was beautiful. It was comfortable. Everything was clean and neat. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds and linens were super comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool, the view and the people! Everyone was just wonderful. I highly recommend!!!!! Also, don’t forget to get on the list for breakfast. We were only there two mornings, but the food was very good and my family is still talking about it. I hope to return there again in the near future.

Our stay was wonderful. The property was beautiful and it was perfect for our stay with 12 guests. There was plenty of room and so many fun things around the houses.

This house is an absolutely beautiful place to spend a weekend! Beautiful mountain views, lovely porch, super well equipped kitchen. The indoor living areas are somehow both cozy and spacious. Enough space for four adults and two kids. Nice proximity to some tourist attractions. On the second night, the sky was clear and we could see a zillion stars. Thanks Erin!

Meticulous and well-appointed! Really nice place in a semi rural area amongst the Virginia mountains. The home is tastefully decorated, and the hosts are thorough and thoughtful. We enjoyed hiking, and visits to 2 breweries, 2 wineries and a distillery during our 2 day stay. We recommend the Sugah Shack highly!

Excellent location and a clean, stylish, comfy condo for our family's recent ski trip. Kathryn kindly accommodated us *very* last minute (same day!) and we were thrilled to have found her place at a great price and so close to the Market and heart of Wintergreen. Loved having a real fireplace with plenty of wood provided and a parking spot right in front of the condo. Highly recommend!

Majestic location and great place to unplug from distractions and unwind. Peaceful and relaxing amenities, lots of interesting health, spiritual, fitness literature available in this space. The stars were sooooo visible and beautiful. Great sunrise & sunset, cool seeing the lit train go by at night. It is very windy atop this hill, with a great view of the river below. There is also a way down to the riverbed at the base of the driveway, maybe a quarter mile further down. The pictures haven’t been updated since new bed spreads & some rearrangements. There was tea kettle with lots of tea options, spices and seasonings available, meditation room, and the waterfall/jet shower was amazing. Very available and communicative host. Good wifi. There are meditation retreat/activities locally, that we wish to explore on our next trip here. Thank you and enjoy!!

We absolutely loved our stay for a family Christmas trip! The house was perfect!! It had a great amount of space to fit everyone. The bathrooms especially were so nice and it was great that everyone has their own. We loved the property with the fire pit and stream. It was so close to skiing, wineries, and restaurants. We had such a great time and definitely recommend staying here!

We loved Dawn and Damond's Bungalow! We stayed here for a long weekend of hiking and visiting wineries. It's super clean and spacious, with all the amenities you could need, from beautiful outdoor spaces and coffee in the kitchen, to lots of towels in the bathrooms and cozy blankets in the living room. As a renovated 1930s house, it gives both modern living and rural farmhouse. The property is gorgeous, with beautiful views of the mountains on all sides. Although it's in a rural valley, there are restaurants and shops in Crozet and Waynesboro a short drive away. We can't wait to return.

Fran was an exceptional host, and the yurt was such a fun way to ring in the New Year. I won't mince words: it was chilly, but the buddy heater was a welcome amenity, and the bed was beyond comfy and piled high with blankets. The bathhouse 250 steps away was terrific, but by far and away my favorite perk was the en suite--the composting toilet around the corner on the deck, something I didn't know about until I arrived! Fran thinks of everything, and, given I was starving on arrival, the freshly baked bread was such a welcome treat. If you're a beer drinker, don't miss Blue Mountain Barrel House & Smokin' Barrel Restaurant. Thank you, Fran!

Perfect home for a weekend get away with friends! We have stayed at the Loft on the Knoll so many times, so we were super excited to rent the “big house” this time with our friends. Home was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and those spices/things you always seem to forget when traveling. Basement was soooo cool with a ping pong table and corn hole boards. We were really happy to have two separate living areas since we were sharing with another couple. We each had our own space and did not have to worry about anything. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was right there if we wanted to. We cannot wait to come back when the pool is open! Extra perk- seeing the cute baby goats! 10000% recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this farmhouse. There was more than enough space for three adults and a baby and the rental provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We only wished the weather was nicer so we could enjoy the beautiful outdoor space. We would stay here again if we travel back to the Charlottesville area.

This place is incredible! Stunning property and home. The charm of the house is lovely and it was the perfect place to gather with my friend group. For years we’ve done an annual “Friendsgiving” where we rent a place in the mountains. This home accommodated the kids and our large group. The kitchen was FULLY stocked like we didn’t need to bring any cookware for our Friendsgiving meal. I was super impressed! We all cannot wait to visit again, preferably in the summer months so we can try out the pool and all the fun games in the barn.

We had the best girls weekend at the farm with the pups! The home was beautiful and extremely clean and welcoming. The weather was too wet and rainy to enjoy the outdoor firepit area, but it was all set up for a cozy little bonfire had we been able to! Will definitely look to come back to explore more of the area and go on other hikes we didn't get to while there. The morning visits from the farm pups also made our days! A must stay!

We loved our recent stay at Ramsey Estate Farmhouse. The setting was spectacular and could not be beat. We were in town for a girls weekend and planned to visit some local wineries, breweries, do some shopping and of course enjoy the fabulous restaurants of nearby Charlottesville. We each had our own room in the farmhouse, which was clean, very comfortable and so relaxing. The bathrooms were all updated. The grounds of Ramsey Estate were beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed walking around visiting the cows and chickens on the property. Any questions we had were quickly answered and recommendations provided when requested. A very quick and easy drive to many vineyards, breweries, parks for hiking and into Charlottesville. Overall, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

James and Emily’s condo was spectacular. Waking up to the beautiful view was the best part of our stay. In addition to the view the condo had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable and peaceful. The ride through the mountains was a bit tricky for us Michiganders but we were up for the challenge. Communication was excellent. If you are considering this home, you will not be disappointed.

Azra’s place exceeded our expectations. The hot tub (looks brand new, and smelled very clean) was perfect for star gazing. The deck is private because the lot is HUGE and the neighbors are far away. Theres a cute little fire pit area that we did not take advantage of. And, the little grill in the covered patio was perfect for some steaks after a day of winery visits. The appliances and decor all look new or recently refreshed. The linens were thick and soft, and Azra supplies all kinds of great coffee. Plus, the location is PERFECT for visiting the wineries, antique shops, and breweries in the area-it’s maybe 3 minutes off of 151, and it’s super easy to find. It saves like an hour compared to staying up at Wintergreen. We will definitely be back!
