Staying in Dinesh’s place was one of the highlight of my trip in Kathmandu! Dinesh provided clear instruction and let me check in earlier, which is very helpful for me who took a morning flight. The property itself is superb. Huge and clean room and living room, which is very comfortable for both short and long stay. There’re also some decent restaurants and cafes walking distance from the property. As a tourist who frequents Thamel, you can take a motorcycle for less than $1usd or taxi for ~ $2-3usd to Thamel. Overall it’s a great stay and I would not hesitate to stay here for my next trip in Kathmandu!

We stayed for two days and definitely it is one of the best stays so far, property is luxurious and exactly looks alike to that in photos. You’ll get the Newari architecture vibes. It is at walkable distance from Patan Durbar Square. It had all the amenities listed. I would have never imagined that properties like these would exist in busy old Patan area 🤐 Nigen made our stay easier by being responsive and even helping us with bus booking to Pokhara and the cab towards the end of the stay. We trusted him blindly for this, and he was confident to get things done. He communicated superbly for each detail. It made our early morning check-out super smooth. This is highly recommended!

A fine apartment in a nice building away from the hustle and bustle of Lakeside, but still close enough to walk there as often as you like. Pros: -Tika and Madhav! The owners and their family are so welcoming and friendly. You will feel like family while you are there. -Location -Great hiking nearby -Super comfortable beds -Private parking if you rent transportation Cons: -Loud! The family is so welcoming that there are always guests who have a tendency to talk quite loudly. Also, there are many stray dogs that bark and bark! Madhav did speak with the owner of one of the loudest in the area to get them to do something about it which was much appreciated. -The place is great, but sparse. You can’t expect European luxury of course, the apartment has everything you need, it’s just not the most comfortable. All in all, I highly recommend this place. The few missing items or issues we had were instantly dealt with. Thanks so much Tika and Madhav!

Our favourite Airbnb we have stayed in. The location is peaceful, with beautiful mountain views that make it the perfect spot to relax. The cottages are clean, cozy, and have everything we need, making it an ideal place for couples to unwind and enjoy nature. The host has been fantastic—really flexible and kind, helping us extend our stay to a different cottage without any difficulty. They've been quick to assist with anything we’ve needed, which makes us feel very well looked after. The Wi-Fi is solid too, so working remotely has been absolutely fine. Plus, there’s Jimmy, the lovely dog, who adds an extra touch of warmth to the place. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we are in Nepal, five star experience.

Our few days of stay at Rahul's place was a literally a blessing both in terms of cleanliness and the sight of the Swayambhu Stupa straight out of the balcony. i recommend his place to anyone visiting Kathmandu, it's in a quiet neighborhood but not far from restaurants, bakeries and convenience stores for a quick bite. The entire apartment was spotless clean and felt very welcomed in the Tibetan thyme design. definitely a super five star place and appreciate Rahul's help in every ways to make our stay comfortable. Kudos to the Super host!!!!!

Notre séjour c'est très bien passé! Le logement est idéalement placé pour découvrir Katmandou. Je recommande. Je conseille de ne pas oublier ses boules quies si on est sensible au bruit la nuit 😉

Shailendra's guesthouse is a gem! After trekking in the mountains, spending 6 nights at his place felt like coming home. Nestled near Patan Durbar Square, the guesthouse is situated in a quaint, historic area of Kathmandu, where narrow streets devoid of cars wind through charming alleys filled with cozy cafes and eateries. Without hesitation, I recommend this location over Thamel (in my opinion, at least). The space itself exudes charm and comfort, with a homely ambiance. The Wi-fi was reliable, which was important considering I had quite a bit of work to get done. Oh, and the breakfast each morning was amazing! Above all, Shailendra's hospitality sets this guesthouse apart. In my 10+ years as an Airbnb user, he stands out as one of the finest hosts I've encountered. His warmth, assistance, and brief nightly chats added a personal touch, truly transforming the stay into a home.

Die Unterkunft entspricht exakt der Beschreibung! Für uns als Familie war die Wohnung perfekt; jeder hatte einen ansprechenden Rückzugsort. Die Küche, der Gemeinschaftsraum, war hervorragend ausgestattet, um für eine Familie zu kochen. Zwei Toiletten, warme Dusche und Heizlüfter sorgten für ein Wohlfühlen in Winter in einem typischen nicht isolierten Haus in Nepal. Für alle Fragen des Alltages war stets Hilfe vor Ort vorhanden: Wasserfilter, Waschmaschine etc. Alle haben sich sehr wohl in dieser Wohnung gefühlt.
