We had a great stay at the Sea Gypsy! The house is very comfortable and we would stay there again. The location is very close to the beach and Cape Kiwanda, we enjoyed exploring Bob Straub State Park, which was less than 5 minutes driving and definitely walkable from the house. The master bedroom was spacious with it's own bathroom and had such wonderfully soft sheets! The kitchen was well-equipped with good-quality pots and pans. Families with kids might want to bring their own plastic plates/ bowls/ cups for kids. Otherwise it was family-friendly and the kids enjoying the games available. Thank you for hosting us!

Neil's place is perfect for families with dogs. Outside, we enjoyed our short walks to the beach with our dogs on a creative gravel trail. Inside, we had plenty of room for the family to spread out when we needed space to sleep or be alone. The dining table is perfect for game playing and our kids enjoyed the ping pong table on the lower level. There is a fantastic view of the ocean in the family area where we all sat together and read one afternoon. The hot tub is an added bonus for good conversations. Thank you, Neil. We loved our stay at this beautiful home on the Nestucca! We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the birds - bald eagles, cormorants, turkey vultures & gulls, and a couple of cute seals swimming right near the dock. The house was very comfortable and had everything we need. We enjoyed dinner at the Riverhouse one night which is a very short walk. We'll definitely be back!

We spend Thanksgiving at this wonderful home. Lots of space and fun things to do for everyone. Just down the road is the beach, fun little store, and great food. The host was amazing and responsive. The holiday was amazing thanks to great weather and the perfect place to stay.

Extremely clean and well laid out. Loved the snacks when we got there! Very well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and spacious living room. Loved that we could walk to the beach. The only few small down sides are that the house is right on the main road and the two bedrooms on that side of the house were a bit loud. The shower is also kind of awkward to get in with two seats that make it feel cramped in the shower. And the last small thing is just that the garage opener had been lost and it was tedious to get in and out of the garage, so best to tell guests to just park on the street. But Ammy was very responsive about the garage and communication was smooth, helpful and friendly throughout. Our family of 7 were very comfortable and glad we could bring our dog. Thank you !!

We are so excited to come stay again. Host was amazing and the property was so well thought out - stocked with many extras that made the stay so comfortable and worth every penny. We cannot wait to come stay again! Additionally, the beds were comfortable which is hard to come by with rentals I've found - we all slept so well.

Katie’s home was worth the trip and money we spent. Felt so cozy and such a beautiful home. Peaceful and quiet, and we loved that Katie had a binder set up with not only instructions and the rules, but tons of great recommendations on dinners, hikes, and much more! My family and I will definitely be coming back! ⭐️

House was a perfect home away from home with all the kitchen gadgets, beds and tv space

Miel was great! I made a mistake but, she was very helpful, quick to respond and recommend other accommodation that worked out perfectly! This little cabin was cozy for my boyfriend and I, plus our dog. The hot tub was clean and very warm! I wish we had time to utilize the fire pit. The cabin is sandwiched between two other cabins so you will want to be mindful of the noise. It’s in a cute neighborhood right by the beach, I wish we had one more day here. I recommend this place for small groups of 2-4, you can do 5 or 6 but it will be a little crammed.

We enjoyed our time at the house. Brandon was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating (it was raining en route, so I reached out to see if we could check in early if possible because we had been planning to go to the beach first. Brandon responded quickly and when the cleaning was done, let us check in about an hour in advance; that was so appreciated!). The house was comfortable and fit the home's description on the site. We would definitely stay here again!

The kitchen setup was awesome. The balcony looked over the water. I loved the location. Bed was new and firm. I didn’t use the tv or pool. Highly recommend!

We got lucky and had incredible weather for our weekend getaway. The location was perfect. Pet friendly stay! They had extra poop bags handy and dog biscuits. Nice touch! Loved that the lawn was right around the corner for our dog to relieve himself. Everything was pristine and matched the pictures and description of the place. Beautiful views of the bay. Absolutely wonderful and would come back again!!

This place is incredible. Thoughtful touches at every turn including labeled light switches, power stations on bed stands, remote control holders on the wall, and so many personal touches for pups. The recliners were extremely comfortable, the pool table was in perfect condition, and the hot tub was private and just what we needed after a long drive. Close to lots of restaurants, shops, and the beach. Highly recommend this house for your next stay!

It is a wonderful place. So comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need to cook and hangout for a long weekend. We started with a group of old friends and enjoyed our time hanging out on the deck and cooking together. We drove to the beach only 20 minutes away. After they left we had a lovely time just relaxing in the hot tub, sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. Though I must say even if it had been raining the outside porch is well covered and you could still enjoy being out there. Everyone was very pleased with the beds, super comfortable. There were plenty of linens and even outdoor towels, as well as seperate towels for the pets. (Though we did not have any with us) If I had any comment if would be, we were slightly disappointed that their was no leaf for the dining room table with eight of us and one in a wheelchair it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work! Again, not an issue, just a suggestion! All in all one of my favorite stays.

Oh my goodness, such an amazing gem of a home! Spacious, well appointed kitchen, very nice bedrooms and showers were much appreciated. Short walk to Pelican Brewery and restaurants. Free roaming adorable bunnies at the campground just down the road topped it off. Also, amazing shoreline. Cape Kiwanda was amazing!

Highly recommend staying at Sam's cottage for your next visit to Rockaway Beach. The cottage is exactly as described, in a great location, quiet and is very clean and up-to-date. Sam is a great host, attentive and communicative and provides clear instructions and recommendations. Be sure to check out the Big Cedar! We hope to be back again to stay at Sam's next time in Rockaway.

We stayed in Unit 12 on the second floor. The huge, attached patio had a wonderful view of the ocean even though there were other houses nearby. The floor plan was very spacious and comfortably furnished for our party of four (+dog). The kitchen had everything we needed. Lisa was available and on site for anything we needed. The whole place was clean and comfortable. I would say the only drawbacks would be there was only one bathroom and the closest beach access was a little challenging for someone who might not be in great shape. Although, there was easier beach access on the next street over which was a pleasant enough stroll. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Beachcombers… we really felt at home which made our vacation especially relaxing.

We had such a lovely time staying at this charming spot during spring break. The place was absolutely adorable, and it really made our family vacation special. The home had a cozy, inviting feel, and everything we needed was provided. It was the perfect setting for some quality time together. Our family truly loved it, and we hope to stay here again in the future!

Brianne was so responsive and accommodating. The house was cozy and comfortable and had all of the comforts of home. We woke up to a family of deer right outside the window. The view was spectacular. Our dogs were welcome and that was the most important thing for us. The local restaurants were so good. It was an awesome trip and we plan to return.
