Stayed at Casa Terra Alta after a downtown conference, and it was the highlight of our trip. We explored the Riverwalk, King William, the Briscoe Western Art Museum, and Market Square—each an incredible experience. Evenings were spent on the patio enjoying the perfect weather while Joy attended her law classes. After class, we’d walk to El Luchador, a fantastic bar with themed nights and affordable drinks. The best surprise? Stumbling upon a live wrestling match there—an unforgettable Texas experience. We visited all the classic San Antonio spots, but what made this trip special was this charming home, the walkable neighborhood, and unexpected moments. Casa Terra Alta was the perfect home base—we’d absolutely stay again!

Had a great stay. There were a lot of restaurants near by. Area felt safe and quiet. Would stay again!

I played in a State golf tournament just blocks from this great casita. It was so quiet and perfect for me. Reid and Barbara were very friendly and everything was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were like butter. Reid even gave me a small cooler when I left with ice , so my cream and leftovers would be cool in my car after I checked out. I especially loved how close the casita was to the driveway , so easy to unload and load the car. I highly recommend their place and will definitely be back. Thank you

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

The cottage is perfect for a a little city getaway. Despite the fact that it is in the backyard of the main house, it does feel private and the host is very much mindful of the desire for privacy from the guests. The hot tub and pool literally 5 steps away from your front door are a really nice perk and it’s a shame the weather did not cooperate in my time there but I’m definitely planning to come back and take advantage of that next time I’m town in better weather! The neighborhood was well maintained and quiet. Definitely a great place and the perfect alternative if you want to stay in San Antonio and don’t want to be in an apartment building.

Melody home was as described, it felt soo homey, just enough space for me and my guy. Can’t say enough about the king bed SUPER SUPER comfortable. I never had a host that responded soo fast. Will be returning in a few months.

I loved my long weekend stay! It was perfectly located near downtown however just far enough away that you are not in the hustle and bustle. The river walk is just a couple blocks away and walks right into downtown, which I used several times. If you are going to San Antonio I would highly recommend Jen’s spot!

Had a great time relaxing and catching up with an old friend in a scenic location!

Thule & Miguel’s place was great! I came for a short stay with my friend and our two dogs. The yard was secure for the dogs which was a must. The house was cozy and so cute!

Perfect place to stay for our needs. Easy to locate and right off of major highways. Clean, tidy and on point! Will be rebooking in the future!!

There was snacks and coffee available. seating and syrup, and half and half. filtered water was ready in the pitcher!!! that was a first for me!!!! she left bottled water in the fridge! They were the ultimate host!!!! they even left food so I could feed their animals!!!! waking up to the sheep running to the fence as I walked out there with food was the greatest thing in the world!!! they were so happy to see me... well they were happy to see my hand full of food haha. The hot tub was perfect. the deck and swing were amazing. The connect four fit perfectly on the table they had outside. It was so much fun. It took us a while to figure out how to light the stove. Make sure you bring a lighter to light it!! We made a lovely breakfast and ate on the porch. The porch is my favorite part!!!! ❤️ they even have seasoning for you!!!!!

Love the place, it was close in to my business trip meeting place. Clean and every amenity you could ever think of! Which the full stock of essentials came in very handy. Will be back!

The rental unit is neat! The unit was clean and matched the online description. Host was easy going and always responsive.

Great space to stay if you are heading to the Dripping springs horse event center. Quick, easy and quiet!

Had such a pleasant peaceful stay! Loved that the location was tucked away, but near everything we wanted to do for the weekend. Would recommend!

My family and I booked this place to end our month long trip around Texas. The attention to detail was evident and everything was beautiful and welcoming. Both Kelly and her husband were so friendly and available if we needed anything. We travelled with our 5 month old and 3 year old and this space was great as there were toys and puzzles and even baby wash available for us. The beds were extremely comfortable, not to mention the sheets were unbelievably soft. Location was also great as there were coffee shops, restaurants and a park with a splash pad all in walking distance. We would stay here again the next time we visit!

We only had a short stay here but in that time we felt comfortable and at home! I’m very particular about spaces being clean and this one was spotless, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed. Most places i’ve been to usually miss out on amenities or cleanliness but this one had everything, I would highly recommend!

Enrique and Carolina’s place did not disappoint. I had four littles with me and was very kid friendly as well. Felt like home away from home.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy little house! It was the perfect home away from home—comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The space felt warm and inviting, making it easy to relax after a long day. One of the highlights was its convenient location near Frost Bank Stadium, which made getting to and from the event incredibly easy. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and the host was communicative and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to San Antonio!

This was our 2nd time staying here and the space is extremely comfortable and cozy. The bed alone is nice, soft and big enough to sink right in. The off street parking is also a plus with it being extremely easy in such a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Eric and Carolyn are a very nice couple. They were also very helpful and responsive for both of our stays. The location is very close to the river walk and the convention center. Would recommend staying here.

Absolutely lovely place!! we were looking for a private place where we could relax for the weekend and we definitely found it. Looks just like pictures. Very clean and cozy. Easy check-in. No trouble finding a place. The infinity pool is absolutely amazing and what we enjoyed the most. would 100% recommend to anyone. We had a wonderful stay! I’m certain will be staying again in the future.
