I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting from out of town. David is a very kind and communicative host, and his listing is exactly as pictured in real life! The apartment is well appointed and very cozy, not to mention the incredibly warm and comfy bed. It snowed heavily during my stay, and to my surprise and delight, the walkway was shoveled and salted! I had a return trip planned to South Bend for another week and immediately rebooked this place. It’s a lovely unit at a price that’s hard to beat. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location and nice place in charming downtown valpo. Perfect for visiting family. The welcome basket was a nice touch, the space was very well appointed and comfortable. We especially appreciated the kid-friendly supplies, great spot for families. The nearby rolling stone baker is worth checking out, as is birdies (the $10 happy hour burger is aces) and the blackbird cafe. Guests should be aware this a basement-level apartment, and while there is WiFi, your phone’s data service might be spotty.

This was a great spot in the city for a weekend getaway or just passing through town. There are so many yummy restaurants, shops, city art and entertaining activities within walking distance! We definitely would ( and hope to) stay again! Thank you Shawn & Emily, for providing everything a guest would need to feel at home.

Lovely hosts, clean apartment, good location. She also had pretty quick communication when we couldn’t get into the door at first.

Nicely appointed apartment, roomy with plenty of space for our stuff, and having a washer and dryer was a nice bonus. We appreciated the snacks and provisions in the full kitchen after our long drive. I especially loved the location which allowed us to reach our family even during the worst of the lake effect snow, and the mud room sure was handy! I wanted to be able to wander the trails more, but the frigid wind had different ideas. We hope to come back; I can explore next time! Thanks for everything!

Maggie’s studio is compact, manageable, and well maintained. Maggie always responded very quickly, which was much appreciated!

Very nice house, very clean, and amenities and snacks were provided. Quick walk or very quick drive to downtown New Buffalo. We loved the game room!! One note for dog owners: there’s no direct access from the house to the yard, you have to bring the dog onto the front stoop to access the gate to the backyard. So just something to be aware of if you have a dog that likes to bolt.

The house was exactly as described and had no issues with anything. We stayed for 2 nights and anything we had forgotten, there was a dollar general nearby.

AMAZING LOCATION! I'd like to point out that I stayed in this location for a month. I'd also like to point out that I will be returning. This place was very clean, neat and newly renovated. I have a phobia of bugs and didn't encounter anything the entire stay. The neighbors were very nice. The block was peaceful and not to busy. Not to mention Nikki was the best host that I could've ever asked for. She was extremely responsive and very personable.

Extremely cozy and would recommend for anyone wanting to visit South Bend!

We absolutely loved staying at Tim's place in New Buffalo. The house is super cute, can sleep everyone comfortably, and is in such a great location. We look forward to making this an annual trip.

Victoria was an incredible host for my stay. House was clean. I would recommend building a privacy fence around the hot tub considering hire close it is to surrounding neighbors. I would highly recommend!

The house was clean and had all the amenities needed. Great location and although it’s on the main road, each bedroom has a noise machine for sleeping, which was a good touch. Location is great, walkable to downtown and other restaurants.

The condo is just steps from University of Notre Dame and the decor keeps you in the Irish mood from the moment you arrive! It was perfectly situated to pop “home” for lunch or dinner and get right back to ND activities without missing a beat. The extra beds were perfect for our small group and we could stretch out and choose our preferred mattress type! Kitchen stocked with pots and pans and dishes for making a full dinner. We had difficulty getting the dishwasher started, but communication was very good and prompt and not much of an inconvenience for us. My guess it will be a non-issue for the next guests. Lived having the big closet in the master bedroom and lots of empty drawers to use to keep things looking neat during our stay. Perfect ND decor! Go Irish! We’d love to stay there again.

This is the second of Vik's property I've stayed in and it's just as beautiful/amazing as the first one. I always hate leaving. Great Location! Great Host! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 5 stars all around.

Overall this stay was great! Host was very communicative and was willing to help with whatever we needed. Place was very clean and organized. The complex was also very quiet at the time we were there. About a 10 minute walk to downtown with a slightly large hill. Complex came with basic cleaning supplies, dishes, dishwasher, etc. Would definitely stay here again!! Things to note: Toilet seat is not in the best condition in the master bedroom. WiFi is extremely slow, was not an issue for us because we have unlimited data on our phones and hotspots so we were able to use that. Water filter in the fridge needs to be replaced. Ice maker didn’t work.

Alexa was an awesome host. Her location is even nicer than the photos show. The indoor parking was a great amenity and the living room had great views of the river. Easy drive/walk to downtown with lots of restaurants and breweries. Alexa is very responsive and made check in/out very easy.

We absolutely loved the location of this condo! It was quiet and a good family friendly spot. We were able to easily walk to the beach and could have walked into town as well. The condo was clean and felt very safe. We will definitely stay here again next year!

We had a wonderful week in this condo! All of the extras - snacks, spices in the cabinet, extra beach towels, several different types of coffeemakers - were greatly appreciated. The cabinets had many choices of mugs, glasses, plates and bowls. We also loved that there were several locations with a light on a dimmer (Dining room, living room). Having a washer and dryer available down the hall was also a plus. The porch is fantastic! So relaxing,. The sofa cushions for the porch are perfect and easily accessible. The gas grill was also great for cookouts and dinners watching the sunset. There is a really nice overlook area if you don't want to walk all the way down to the beach, easy to get to by walking around to the other side of the building. We got some great northern lights pictures from that lookout. Patty was always helpful and easily accessible - answering any questions I had within the hour, sometimes in just minutes!

This hotel efficiency was a lovely and welcoming space. It was clean and quiet and located not too far from Lake Michigan. the town is small, but there are wonderful breweries and some good restaurants. I would be happy to stay here again. Nicole was very responsive and her instructions were clear.

Dave made us feel right at home and answered any questions we had. His place is near restaurants and stores which were very convenient! It is also a 12 minute drive to the national park and there are so many places to check out. It’s about a 45 minute drive to Chicago and there’s a train nearby if you want to take that instead into the city. I highly recommend staying here Dave’s place was clean and he was an amazing host!
