Just what we needed for our Christmas visit with the kids and grandkids. Dog friendly and the area was very walkable. Cozy place and Susan was super responsive to all needs and communicated regularly.

My family and I stayed for one night but could imagine spending many more! The interior is ADORABLE and very comfortable. She thought of all the little things to make a guest feel right at home—right down to ear plugs for the light sleeper (although we found it to be very quiet). We will definitely look to stay here again when back in Wilmington!

Pamela was a very responsive and proactive host. She responded in a reasonable time and addressed our concerns. I visited with my sisters for a life celebration of our oldest remission & birthday. The house was clean, just as pictured and very welcoming. Pamela was very thoughtful and left refreshments & snacks for us. She even recommended a chef for our Sunday’s brunch. 💜 We had a wonderful time. One take away was the inability to control the temperature but she handled it immediately when contacted. There were one or two minor issues but overall, the visit was great. We had a blast and will use this home again when in the area. It felt like home away from home. I will definitely refer my family and friends to The Blue Hen Haven 💙💛. Thanks Pamela, you’re an amazing, kind, and SUPER HOST✨✨✨✨

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. The location was perfect—walking distance to the University of Delaware campus. The check-in process was smooth with clear instructions, and the space itself was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

We had a great little family getaway, the house is beautiful,clean and just an amazing location. The kids enjoyed playing on the beach and we were lucky to have amazing weather the whole time. We would love to go back again!

Host was very accommodating and home was even more impressive in person. One of the best properties I’ve experienced. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the warm fireplace, comfy beds, great water pressure in showers, nice linens, and gourmet kitchen. Will definitely consider this home again next time our travels bring us to this area.
