New England : locations de vacances dans des maisons organiques

This was our second stay at Linda's home and we had a great time. The house was cozy and clean and we felt right at home there. The fenced in yard and having access to the pond right out the back door was great for us and our dog. The location is great too in that it's close enough for southern NH and northern MA day trips. We had a great week - thanks Linda!

What an amazing place, truly wonderful as somewhere to regain some peace. There are nice walking trails nearby, and the house itself is so welcoming and cozy: an excellent place to play games (there are some available!) or snuggle up with a book in front of the fire. There’s plenty of space, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and baking. And Loraine is a wonderful host: communicative and generous (we made mac & cheese, and she provided us the little flour we needed so we didn’t have to buy a whole bag). The stair steps are narrow, so not a good choice if that is difficult for you, but that wasn’t a problem for us. I’d gladly have stayed much longer!

Great place for an extended family trip! Lots of beds, bathrooms, beautiful view, great hot tub, nice fireplace. It really embodies the spirit of a Quebec family gathering. Huge family tables, well equipped kitchen, lots of fun to be had. Only 5min to Mont Blanc which was a good starter ski hill for the beginners among our group, and seniors who liked the relaxed pace. A fraction of the price compared to Tremblant and 100% more authentic. We’re already taking about our next trip back!

We had a peaceful 5- night getaway at Katherine’s. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! The weather ranged from the 16 degrees on our first night to nearly 65 degrees on our last day - we were comfortable through all of it. And the views! The views from the octagon house are stunning, and instantly relaxing. The home is fully equipped with anything anyone could need. Chris at the Grouse House made us feel super welcome on our first night in Otis and we had great breakfasts at Paige’s Place right down the road (3 days in a row! Shout out to Eric!). We also found some other great places like Antimony Brewing in Lennox, and Agave’s in Great Barrington - both within a 30 minute drive. Thanks again for sharing your home!

Prana is a cozy, relaxing retreat. Our family had a great time warming ourselves around the fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub, and snoozing in the sauna. It was a great post-Christmas getaway!

August 2024, 1 adult & 2 children , g9 b7, Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and it rained everyday and was cold, we tried to make the most of it, but camping is a gamble for the weather. The place is very nice, peaceful and secluded. outside the cabin the temperature was about 13 degrees or less at night, but inside it was constantly 20 degrees and dry. we had access to drinkable water, bbq, plenty of free fire wood, showers , toilets. at the lake there is plenty of water toys and space. the lake is huge and it's very quiet. Marc who was on site for support was great, and stopped by each day to check we had everything we needed. thanks Marc.

Amazing place, we enjoyed our weekend at the ski slopes near by. Well stocked kitchen and beautiful home.

What a beautiful, thoughtfully crafted space, unlike anywhere else we've ever stayed. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on the chilly evenings, made use of the small but efficient kitchen, and appreciated the calm of the (surprisingly sunny) living room in the mornings. Everything was as shown in the photos, but we appreciated the sculptural design of the house even more in person. We also strongly recommend the short path to the overlook behind the house. We visited in the early spring and were glad to have 4 wheel drive to navigate the final stretch of dirt road leading to the house.

Je demeure à Beauport et j'ai loué ce chalet à 15 minutes de chez moi et je me suis sentis dépaysé rapidement avec le bois autour et peu de circulation, le chalet est plus bas que la route. Il y a de très belles décorations et le foyer assure une atmosphère des plus agréable durant l'hiver. Beaucoup de jeux de société et de lecture pour tous les goûts, je le recommande fortement !
