Our stay was lovely, the location is very pretty with lots of wildlife, we saw deer, heard owls and lots of songbirds. Chris was proactive from the moment we booked and he made extra efforts to make sure we were met on arrival. The premises were very clean and well equipped. The various instructions for arrival and use of the amenities were very good and clear. The location was ideal for exploring the forest and also to get to the coast and Salisbury which is a lovely city. We also enjoyed walks from the barn for both country walking and the ability to get to Fordingbridge where there were good pubs and restaurants.

Can only say, "We will be coming here again". Lovely place, great unobtrusive hosts, all perfect.

I stayed at the milking parlour, Lovely little place to stay. Very clean, peaceful and has everything you need there. They provided a lovely little welcome pack on arrival and there was milk in the fridge, bonus! Especially after a long drive and all you’re fancying is a cuppa! I have booked to stay for the extra days I need to work away. Fab place! Jo & Trevor are quick at replying too. There are some nice pubs around too, and you aren’t too far from Yeovil! Thank you guys, can’t wait to come back! 😊

Our stay at Lucy's Airbnb was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location is also ideal, conveniently situated near everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and quiet when we needed a break. My partner and children had such a beautiful time too, and everyone felt comfortable and happy. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to book again on our next trip!

We stayed at Kerrie’s place with two young children. Our four year old absolutely loooved the farm and the animals. It’s so beautiful and peaceful at and around the farm. Our chalet was lovely and had everything we needed. Bed very comfortable too. Can thoroughly recommend!

A really lovely stay. Alexandra’s listing was exactly as advertised. In the middle of a working farm but easy to access and great views. Very clean and perfectly designed for our family of 4. Hosts were really friendly and quick to answer any questions. Will def stay again when visiting family in area.

The cottage was ideal for what we wanted. Close to Southampton but rural good for dog walking as well as being an ideal base for the New Forest. Attractive cottage, very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We'll certainly return when we need accommodation in the area again.

We had a fantastic stay with Clare. If you have kids, they will love seeing all the horses (plus goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, etc). Also right next door to Barbury Castle and the ridgeway, so brilliant walking / running on the doorstep. Less than 10mins to Wroughton for pubs, etc. Clare was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This was our 2nd stay, and we hope to return. Swallows Retreat is comfortable, spacious, with a beautiful view, and everything we needed. We used the hot tub which was well maintained.

We needed somewhere to stay for a few months as our house was going through the conveyancing process. The Annex at Maple Cottage was a fantastic temporary home. Dorothy and Ian were excellent hosts; always available but never intrusive. The Annex was well furnished and supplied. Always warm,, superb TV and great internet. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Beautiful place. Great wildlife spotting. Cosy, feels secluded but safe and Georgia is only a walk away if needed. Hot tub does take about 3-4 hours but it is so worth it and stayed super warm to spend the evening in there. No light pollution so can see the stars super clearly. We had amazing weather and was a perfect sun trap. Really accessible to grab a taxi to Winchester city centre for dinner which was great, but enjoyed coming back and spending the rest of the evening around the fire pit. The outside bath was lovely in the mornings watching the sun and the birds All round lovely stay.

We stayed in Kevin’s wagon on his farm which is a perfect little getaway. Kevin was a great host very friendly and helpful he brought us a full English breakfast with loads of tea and coffee which was delicious! The bed was so comfortable best night sleep ever! We loved the location looking over the bay and seeing the peacock and chickens roam around freely! Will definatly recommend! Thanks Kevin

A perfect location for our short break in Somerset with 2 dogs. The villa is quirky, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lots of space for families with a beautiful garden, sun room and great kitchen. Lovely walks nearby and we walked to the local restaurant the first evening for a takeaway. Took a total of 8 mins there and back! A great base for visiting the Mendips, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and Blagdon. A stones throw from Wookey Hole also, although we didn’t visit this time. I would really recommend this beautiful place. If you want to either kick back and relax, or walk and walk and walk - then this is the place for you. Thank you so much. We’d love to return if you’ll have us!

Had a short weekend at the flat on this loverly farm. If you want some where to chill and have some peace then this is the place to be. Add the style of the flat inside and out and how helpfull Lucy and her crew are, you the have this perfect place. The correspondence and information on the arrival and departure is first class. There is a nice little pub no more than a five minute drive called The Antelope Inn, very friendly. Thanks again Lucy for a wonderful stay.

Myself and a few friends were looking to escape and have a private beautiful place for a relaxing new year break and the barn was exactly this! We felt at home straight away. The barn is stunning - it’s somebody’s home with books, artwork, rugs, lots of life. Once you’re settled you won’t want to leave- we didn’t!

Beautiful house with plenty of space, hosts are very helpful and also respectful, had an amazing time away for my mums hen do is a perfect place for a gathering with friends and family.

Absolutely stunning place to stay, beautiful location, very peaceful, the cottage is finished to a high standard, fully equipped kitchen. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in the area. Unfortunately I was on a work trip and didn’t get to explore locally, but would love to return for a peaceful escape with my family.

Stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect get away. Sally was great communicating and always happy to help. The house was nice, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Located in the peaceful countryside but with great pubs/restaurant and the seaside nearby. would definitely recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Wier Lodge. It was very comfortable with plenty of space and set in beautiful surroundings. Alex and Rob are marvellous hosts.

A real gem. So nice and relaxing for a few days away. Richard and Penny were great hosts from welcoming us and local information, to being available for any queries you might have. We Ubered to Bath and back for day trip and wasn’t too expensive either. Best advice is to switch off your tech, listen to the wildlife and take a stroll around.
