What an absolute gem of a little getaway, Fiona is a great host and the shepherds hut is absolutely perfect for what we needed. The addition of homemade bread, milk, butter and jam in the fridge is such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Nothing will prepare you for how big and relaxing the hot tub is, we absolutely loved sitting in it and listening to the wildlife. The hut is really private and has its own little garden, we had breakfast lunch and dinner outside as we were so lucky with the weather! We will absolutely be back, thank you for having us!

Our second family get-together in Anna & Eric’s gorgeous “garden”. The quirky accommodation options are fully equipped with anything you could possibly need and made homely and beautiful by Anna’s tasteful interior decoration. The addition of a “Pavillion” since our last visit made our evenings even better as there was plenty of room for our group of 15 to play games late into the night, after a day of tennis, tug-of-war, trampolining, bbq, chilling in the hot tub nestled in greenery while watching their peacock stroll back and forth…

We booked this place for guests at our son's wedding party and they loved it!

We had a wonderful stay, Paul was extremely helpful throughout the whole booking and helped to recommend different pubs for our dinner along with activities that were local. The house itself was wonderful, it had everything we wanted and more. The location of the house is in the new forest and very tranquil. We are hoping to return later this year for a stay with the children.

Me and five friends spend New Year’s Eve at Fiona’s huts and we had the most amazing time. The place is even better than what you see in the pictures. It’s cozy, comfortable and well equipped. Fiona has been a completely star, helping us with transport and more. Hopefully we will come back!

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

This shepherds hut was a great place to stay while walking the South Downs Way. It was very clean, comfortable and warm and has its own bathroom facilities in a separate building. Pauline made me welcome and made sure I had everything I needed. I was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. I'd definitely book to stay here again next time I am in the area.

Tracys place was absolutely breathtaking, the animals and the views were spectacular. Tracy was such a good host, just soo welcoming and relaxed it made us feel at home even more

This was a good little find with the back garden basically being the new forest. If you’re lucky you might catch a quick glimpse of a couple off deer’s on a walk like we did. Also a few different types off birds. The location was ideal not far from Bournemouth if you want to spend the day shopping or at the beach. Or like we did we went Alpaca walking. Walks round the forest. Then back to the little home from home with the hot tub logs on the go for a nice soak in the hot tub heated up the traditional way. The hosts were very nice and helpful. So a big thank you. But the best bit for me was my dog fix 😁 lexi there lovely dog become my new best friend when we was there. She Sat with us in the evening and when we woke up she was waiting for us out side the hut. A really behaved dog. Even when we had a bbq she didn’t jump up or even try getting to the food. Really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely go back.

Wow, what a place. So tranquil and private and the hot tub made it all the more special. It was just magical to be surrounded by nature and hear all of the different birds. John and Joan were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning to this haven again. Thank you for the most relaxing stay!

We had an amazing time staying in Emily's shepherds hut. The hut itself was beautiful inside and really cosy but still plenty spacious enough for two people. The swan pub was a great recommendation for food and drink and was only a 20 second walk away, perfect for stumbling back to the comfy bed in the hut after a few.

This was probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, the photos don't do it justice! The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Lots of local taxis available to take you into Wells (10 mins max) where there are plenty of lovely pubs & restaurants. The hot tub was amazing, very easy to use and the hut was much bigger than we expected! Lou was an incredible host, so welcoming and hospitable, always replying super quickly to any questions and very clear instructions. If you are looking for a rural, peaceful, fun get away, we couldn't recommend this enough!

such a wonderful place. The hut is set in beautiful surroundings and is great for a more rustic glamping experience. we spent both evenings by the fire pit just enjoying our experience when wild deer came right up to us. it was an amazing and magical time

Where to start!! Jayne was an amazing host. From the moment you arrive at the blue hut, to leaving. You felt completely relaxed and happy. Jayne had left some bubbles, marshmallows and biscuits to make s’mores which was 10/10. My boyfriend and I loved the stay! All the amenities you could ask for from the hot tub to the bbq, farm shop down the road and the amazing views. The bed was so comfortable and the shower/ bathroom was spotless! We would both really recommend Jayne and the stay at the blue hut! Thank you Jayne!

Pleasantly surprised by how spacious the shepherds hut was. plenty of storage space under the bed and in the shower room cabinet. Safe, secure and private. We had a 3month old and didn't want to disturb folk with his crying and this worked out perfectly. The area is stunning and the people were so friendly and helpful everywhere we went. Harriette & Glyn were lovely, kind and friendly but not in the least bit intrusive. We like to keep to ourselves without being unfriendly or impolite so we were very comfortable. We'd love to come back at some point....perhaps next mother's day if not before. THANK YOU for a lovely, relaxing stay.

Excellent stay at the hut. Chris is so friendly and helpful. All the amenities were as described, clean and well maintained. Highly recommended visit, the location is fantastic and its a very charming place to stay.

We loved staying in Sally's shepherds hut. We have stayed in a lot across England and this was one of the largest and sturdiest! It held the heat so well (thanks Sally for lighting the fire ahead of our late check-in), warm and cosy bed, great shower, and lovely interior. We loved waking up to the donkey in the field and enjoying the birdsong. Photos definitely don't do it justice.

We had a lovely one-night stay here. A spur of the moment decision and Emily was very quick at replying and although we didn’t meet her, we felt very welcome. It had all the basics and the bed was comfortable. It was lovely sitting outside in the late evening sun before an easy walk to the pub. I would have happily stayed another night! Thank you Emily.
