What an absolute gem of a little getaway, Fiona is a great host and the shepherds hut is absolutely perfect for what we needed. The addition of homemade bread, milk, butter and jam in the fridge is such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Nothing will prepare you for how big and relaxing the hot tub is, we absolutely loved sitting in it and listening to the wildlife. The hut is really private and has its own little garden, we had breakfast lunch and dinner outside as we were so lucky with the weather! We will absolutely be back, thank you for having us!

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

Me and five friends spend New Year’s Eve at Fiona’s huts and we had the most amazing time. The place is even better than what you see in the pictures. It’s cozy, comfortable and well equipped. Fiona has been a completely star, helping us with transport and more. Hopefully we will come back!

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

Lovely accommodation with a lovely host, really friendly and welcoming. The location is great, really peaceful and close to Cowes. We had a lovely time.

This was our second time visiting Hilary and Colin’s beautiful shepherds hut and it is definitely one we shall be going again too. They are both lovely , friendly people and nothing is too much trouble. We can fully recommend a visit

Vicky and Iain's place has been an absolute treat for us. The location is easy to find, and they provide clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The hut looks exactly like the photos. It is spacious, cosy, comfortable, and quiet. The beds are more comfortable than most homes I've stayed in. The area is incredibly calm and peaceful, helping you forget all your worries and stress. The hot tub is large and excellent in quality. It can comfortably fit around six people and feels luxurious for two. The nearby restaurants are fantastic. We visited the Tollgate Inn, and it served some of the best food I have ever had at a restaurant. I highly recommend it. The nursery we went to for breakfast offered portions twice the size of what you'd get in London for the same price. Overall, I wish we had stayed longer. We highly recommend this place, and it will be our go-to getaway from now on.

Logement cosy et confortable, parfait pour notre visite à Goodwood. (Nous étions assez peu présents à la cabane) Literie au top. Le logement est petit mais agencé de manière fonctionnelle. Très bonne communication avec Victoria qui est adorable et réactive dans les échanges. Nous recommandons !

Incredible weekend getaway spot - picturesque walks, wild horses, peaceful surroundings and all the amenities you may require. Both Fi and Nick were very friendly and proactive in sharing guidance and their local recommendations. We cannot wait to return 💛

We booked both Shepard’s huts to stay with family. They were spotlessly clean, the kids loved the wood pile and we made use of the BBQ / fire pit. Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll be back

We had a lovely couple of nights in Herdwick hut at Laverstock farm. The farm is gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around it seeing the animals, particularly the pygmy goats, and even had a couple of games of table tennis in the games room. The area around the hut is very private and peaceful, although you could hear some chatter from the cottages above at times. The hut itself is really pretty and cosy and we loved being greeted by the cows in the adjacent field. The separate kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed evenings by the fire pit, with the added bonus of marshmallows left by the host! One thing to mention is that the shared washroom is a walk away, up by the cottages, but it was clean and offered products and towels. A relaxing and lovely stay.

This was a good little find with the back garden basically being the new forest. If you’re lucky you might catch a quick glimpse of a couple off deer’s on a walk like we did. Also a few different types off birds. The location was ideal not far from Bournemouth if you want to spend the day shopping or at the beach. Or like we did we went Alpaca walking. Walks round the forest. Then back to the little home from home with the hot tub logs on the go for a nice soak in the hot tub heated up the traditional way. The hosts were very nice and helpful. So a big thank you. But the best bit for me was my dog fix 😁 lexi there lovely dog become my new best friend when we was there. She Sat with us in the evening and when we woke up she was waiting for us out side the hut. A really behaved dog. Even when we had a bbq she didn’t jump up or even try getting to the food. Really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely go back.

Wow, what a place. So tranquil and private and the hot tub made it all the more special. It was just magical to be surrounded by nature and hear all of the different birds. John and Joan were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning to this haven again. Thank you for the most relaxing stay!

Beautiful rural getaway!! Chloe was so helpful with making sure the hot tub was ready for the evenings, the shepherds hut was a perfect escape for us as a couple, with beautiful views, privacy and a very cute lodging with everything we needed. The furnishings and details in the shepherds hut were so lovely and made a very small space feel like a cosy home. Super easy to find and enjoyed a couple of nice walks in the area. Will book again!

This was probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, the photos don't do it justice! The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Lots of local taxis available to take you into Wells (10 mins max) where there are plenty of lovely pubs & restaurants. The hot tub was amazing, very easy to use and the hut was much bigger than we expected! Lou was an incredible host, so welcoming and hospitable, always replying super quickly to any questions and very clear instructions. If you are looking for a rural, peaceful, fun get away, we couldn't recommend this enough!

We had an amazing time staying in Emily's shepherds hut. The hut itself was beautiful inside and really cosy but still plenty spacious enough for two people. The swan pub was a great recommendation for food and drink and was only a 20 second walk away, perfect for stumbling back to the comfy bed in the hut after a few.

such a wonderful place. The hut is set in beautiful surroundings and is great for a more rustic glamping experience. we spent both evenings by the fire pit just enjoying our experience when wild deer came right up to us. it was an amazing and magical time

Where to start!! Jayne was an amazing host. From the moment you arrive at the blue hut, to leaving. You felt completely relaxed and happy. Jayne had left some bubbles, marshmallows and biscuits to make s’mores which was 10/10. My boyfriend and I loved the stay! All the amenities you could ask for from the hot tub to the bbq, farm shop down the road and the amazing views. The bed was so comfortable and the shower/ bathroom was spotless! We would both really recommend Jayne and the stay at the blue hut! Thank you Jayne!

Melissa’s place is lovely and peaceful. In a great location local for long walks and pubs.She was very friendly and the air BnB was very clean and tidy. We did cause some accidental damage to the property and Melissa was very understanding and it was resolved very amicably, would recommend to anyone looking to stay somewhere tranquil in the new forest.
