This quaint, quiet and remarkably cozy cabin was a perfect weekend retreat! We stayed two nights and really enjoyed everything this cabin had to offer. The kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast every morning and pack a lunch for walking the state park only about a mile down the road. Watching the pelicans swim down the Mississippi was morning entertainment from the porch chairs. The relaxing jacuzzi tub was a special treat every evening as we watched our favorite show from the outdoor tv. This cabin was well equipped, decorated thoughtfully and tastefully and provided us with a relaxing get-away! In addition, Pauline was quick to deliver a new coffee maker when the one we had wouldn’t work! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your slice of Heaven!

This place is a gem! They have used every part of the house wisely. Beds rooms were all fantastic. The kitchen/dining table was the hangout area for adults! Between large group meals, swimming, hiking, spending a day in downtown galena, and of course the hot tub, the kids and us all had a blast!

Recently stayed here for a long girl's weekend and it far exceeded our expectations! There were 4 of us and we each had our own bedroom AND bathroom which is really hard to find. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and the living room super comfy - we spent our evenings there just chatting and hanging out. You can tell that Andrew and Sara put a lot of thought and effort into decorating the space to give it a very cozy and inviting vibe. Lots of extra touches - the soft linens, sound machine in each bedroom, cute decor. We definitely intend on another girl's trip to Galena and plan to stay in this house again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home! It had everything we could possibly want. The surroundings are gorgeous, the home is stunning, and it was the perfect place for our two families to enjoy some peaceful time away together. We would stay over and over if we could!

What cute and accommodating place!! Very quiet and peaceful!! And an awesome story behind the humble abode, just ask Cowboy Joe!! It is a great place if you plan on venturing out during the day and want to come back and relax!! The hot tub was awesome. The beds are amazing too. As mentioned before the kitchen is bare except for cooking and eating utensils. So plan for that. We would definitely do a retrun trip!!

This cabin was fully stocked with amenities, linens, soap, washing detergent, kitchen equipment and was super clean. The area around the cabin peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a cabin getaway. Definitely worth the price.

We had an awesome experience at Tracy’s Airbnb for our girls trip. We loved the walking trails that were near and saw a lot of wildlife which was a nice surprise in the morning. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends and family!

We had three families stay with young children. Loved the club house & hot tub on site. Dan was very responsive. Place is cozy.

We had such a relaxing time here. The cabin was clean and felt even bigger than the pictures. We brought our 3 kids and it didn’t feel cramped at all. There were toys for them to play with and they loved having the basketball hoop outside too. Great little getaway for our family.

This is one of the nicest AirBnBs we have stayed in! It is SO COZY! The place is absolutely beautiful and has a wonderful view of surrounding nature. It was very clean and smelled wonderful. The bed was comfortable. There were ample towels and even a claw foot tub. We felt so relaxed and it was great to wake up to the sound of birds and gentle wind. It felt very private and peaceful. 10/10 would stay again!!

We had the BEST time. The cabin and acreage were breathtaking. Our kids had a blast playing, fishing, catching frogs and more. The cabin was small but perfect for our needs, we loved the porch overlooking the view. The kitchen/bathroom are very small (historic property!) but well equipped. Cabin stayed pretty cool even in the heat of the day, but A/C is there if you need it. We would totally visit again! Hosts were very responsive and friendly!

This house is gorgeous! It is the best one that I have rented on Airbnb. The bathrooms, kitchen, blankets and towels are top notch. It even has great dishes, knives and pots/pans. Corey the host goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a reset in their life.

This was a beautiful and peaceful retreat My dog and I loved to sit outside and listen to all the different kinds of birds the lake view and forest was beautiful The cabin was furnished just right and we enjoyed the sitting by the fire Taking my dog for a walk was enjoyable Thanks for a peace of quit rest

Beautiful location and lovely accommodation, we were working but it seemed ideal for a family break. The pond makes for some great shots, would be a great place for wedding parties to stay near the TWR.

Loved it! The host was quick with communication. The house is cute and right on a beautiful river with a dock and fire pit. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Had a great stay for a ski weekend at Vladimir’s place! Really enjoyed the surroundings and the cozy living space :)

Awesome little place. In my opinion the pictures don’t show how close you are to the road. Makes it look secluded but there are other houses really close as well. One other thing to mention is the water is really hard and smells of chlorine. The hot water also runs out super fast. These are the things that I didn’t really like, but nothing could be done to fix these which I understand. Brian was really responsive and checked in with us multiple times. The location as far as distance was great! Close to Apple River Canyon!

This was a beautiful and perfect place for my husband and I weekend getaway. The host was very nice and helpful and the house was very clean and cute. we would absolutely want to stay there again when we go back that way.

So peaceful, beautiful getaway , Beautiful place to go walking around and being in Nature. Would’ve loved to take the kayaks out on the lake, but it rained and it was a little cold. Hopefully next time we stay. There was a wonderful supper club in the area excellent food and service sets back to the 50s.

Mark's cabin was one of the best air bnb's i've stayed at. Simple, great location relative to bike paths and a well prepared fire ready to light. A great place to reset and relax. Every aspect of the cabin was well thought through- from the comfort of the bed to the lighting. All dishes were beautiful ceramic. I have already recommended this place to several friends.
