Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

We had a great stay at Valerie’s. A perfect location to spend time with friends off the grid. The home is spacious with everything you would need. We had 11 adults there comfortably. Valerie was quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope to be back!

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. The house is spacious and wonderful. Having a private beach just up the road was amazing. We dug clams and made our own chowder. It doesn’t get better than that! Except maybe Bob and Hannah’s friendliness and care. We’ll remember our stay at the Flat River Farmhouse for a long, long time.

Lots of nice touches: lights on when we arrived, snacks (even milk and yogurt!), shampoo, board games, etc. It is not super clear from the listing, but the shower is at an angle, quirk of an old farmhouse. Taller people won't find it all that comfortable . We were also very excited about the hot tub, but less excited to realize it was around the back of the house. On a slippery cold winter day we chose to not take advantage. Overall this is a solid pick and I would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed at Thomas' place while in town for kids St. FX ring ceremony. Great private and quiet location, loved the wood stove and hot tub! About 20-25 min drive into Antigonish, but nice to wake up to an ocean view! Would stay here again and sample more gin!

We had an amazing time at this gorgeous place! Very peaceful, stunning views, we wished we had more time there. Tricia had a great restaurant recommendation and even printouts of locations of various beaches, as well as lots of helpful information. She was also very responsive, accommodating and helpful. We loved the place and would definitely return again!

Patti was a wonderful host. The view from the living room/ kitchen area was stunning. We will definitely try to book this property if we’re in the area again!

We had a great vacation. Amazing location, quiet, beautiful view of the ocean, even from the living room sofa. The host is friendly and responsive, and the cottage had everything you would need for your stay.

We’ve been going to Danielle and Drew’s spot for our annual boys weekend for many years now; it’s practically our second home! Sleeps all of us no problem, great common space, beautiful view. Danielle is always very communicative and helpful. Can’t wait for our next trip!

Très bon séjour! Le logement est bien situé par rapport à la région, nous avons pu visiter Moncton, Halifax ainsi que l'Ile du Prince Édouard à proximité - la route se fait très bien à partir de là. La maison est bien équipée et spacieuse, elle peut accueillir plusieurs personnes très confortablement. Il y a une vaste plage à quelques minutes de marche. Nous avons aussi eu le plaisir de discuter avec Gunther, un hôte très sympathique et disponible qui répond très rapidement. Nous recommandons pour de belles vacances au calme

It’s exactly what I was looking for. There were goats, roosters and cows. We fed the goats. Since there was no internet, it was a digital detoxification for us. For emergency, we can have WiFi. Annika was super fast in terms of response time. Kevin was quick to refill gas for the grill. He also provided extra box of goat food to feed them. We enjoyed the trip thoroughly.

We stayed two nights in Karen‘s place for a graduation party for a friend of my two daughters. It was a fantastic homebase, a whole house to yourself, beautiful private surroundings and everything we needed, we were thoroughly impressed!

This cottage is private, unique and full of character. Very well equipped. The cottage has many lovely nooks and crannies, so everywhere you turn there's something new to discover. It's truly a retreat from the busy, noisy world, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's this kind of place that makes PEI so memorable. We hope to return someday, and we thank host Sebastian for his kindness. 🕊️

We had a brief stay at the cottage which was everything we thought it would be.We had an amazing time and would diffinitly do it again.The only downfall is we only booked a one night stay ,next time we will book for the whole weekend and enjoy more of the sights.

The host has thought of almost everything you could want during a vacation stay, including extensive information and guidance about the cottage, area, and nearby attractions, as well as items within the house for entertainment, utility, etc. There are limited things to do within walking distance, but Pugwash is a short drive away with some restaurants and a lovely little Saturday market. The cottage location is on a quiet lane; the next-door grey cottage wasn't rented while we were there, and there are trees to give privacy from other neighbours, so it was very cozy. The beach front is a beautiful view, especially in the evenings around the fire, but is perhaps not the best beach to actually go down to - at high tide, it's quite grassy, and at low tide it's very mucky. However, a nice public beach is only a short drive away. Overall, a lovely stay.

Wonderful spot just minutes to the beach. Everything you need right in the house. Great deck to sit out on and relax. Bikes, kayaks there for your use. Surrounded by beauty

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing Airbnb this weekend, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a beautifully clean space that felt like home. The host was incredibly accommodating and very responsive if needed. The location was perfect, situated in a charming neighborhood with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. We loved exploring the area and finding hidden gems just a short walk away. The amenities in the Airbnb were top-notch, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a cozy living area that made it easy to relax after a day of adventures. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
