Arnie is a wonderful host, and the space is beautiful, clean, and one-of-a-kind. I have stayed here multiple times and I would highly recommend it!

The room was pristine, clean and we really got a kick out of the wood burning stove (which we used exclusively for the heat). We had a wonderful stay in a charming 1700s-era home, filled with historical features that made it warm and inviting. Our host, David, was exceptionally gracious, meeting us late in the evening and accommodating our request for breakfast to go, including options for my wife's lactose intolerance. I highly recommend David's inn.

Woodwards had many amenities and I felt like if we needed something they could assist in no time. Great location of room too!!!

If you’re looking for quiet. This is the place! The nature, the building, all of it was excellent. I felt safe as a solo female traveller to stay here. The accommodations are exactly as listed. The yoga studio is lovely and the whole place is very clean. I would for sure stay here again.

We arrived at Maple Hil on a very cold afternoon in NH -- we were met with cozy living spaces warmed by wood stoves, coffee and tea available all day, and our room equipped with electric blankets and a space heater. Dennis fed the fires for us and provided silverware and dishes for our snacks in the living area; he also lent us snow shoes for a trek across the lake. We slept well and were excited to wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking -- as many reviews have said, the breakfast was perfect! We were located close to several ski mountains, a town with shops and restaurants, and Dennis had advice for all of it. This was a wonderful, cozy, perfect stay and we will be back for sure!

Sheila (and Bill and David) felt like family from the start. The most gracious hosts ever. They have immense pride in what they do and their Inn, as they should! They treated us so well, homemade food, conversations, access to anything we wanted to feel at home and happy during our stay. The eating area promoted meeting other guests, but if you choose to be alone they respect that as well. Our plans changed a few times and Sheila was very flexible and understanding! Lovely owners. Lovely stay!!

Buddy’s place was incredible!!! The view from your room is gorgeous and breakfast will be the best you will ever have. Smooth check-in, communication, and parking. Wonderful company and conversation - plus, an adorable dog. :) Beautiful hikes only a 10 min drive away. We cannot wait to return again!

I wish I’d discovered Sue’s Inn earlier!! It’s such a wonderful and cozy experience. I met interesting people, some of which had been going to the Inn for more than a decade. The fire was very cozy and Sue’s breakfast was delicious. Sue was very welcoming and shared history about the area. Extremely reasonable prices, beautiful location, lovely host, and wonderful experience. I now own a place in N.H., but otherwise this would be my go to place!

Wow what a wonderful experience. Gene and Judy are one of a kind hosts. They go above and beyond in every way possible. As soon as you walk in, you feel right at home. Gene told us the history of their home and how it came to be the wonderful gem it is today. We got in late to check in and he set up our coffee for us for the next morning. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and we got the best rest. On our last day there, Gene made us a home cooked meal and we got to sit down and talk to him and Judy. They are the most compassionate kind, welcoming, loving hosts I’ve ever had. It felt like sitting down and having breakfast with family. I can’t recommend their place enough. 11/10!!! Make sure to stay and have a breakfast with Gene— his cooking is incredible and the conversation/experience makes it even better. Can’t wait to come back!! Thank you Gene and Judy for everything.

We skied Black mountain and stayed here, it was awesome! Breakfast was delish, the space was very cute, and staff was amazing (shoutout Amy). We’d definitely stay here again.

Bjorn and Elaine know how look after their guests. It was a pleasure to stay with them whilst exploring the White Mountains region. They gave good food recommendations nearby, made me extra coffee for my flask and asked me about the adventures I had been on. Perfect hosting! The room was super clean and comfortable with space to park the car and lovely indoor and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy a coffee or a beer. Will stay there again if I’m in town.

Susan is one of those rarities you find out in travels with a welcoming demeanor, helpful suggestions and a person who creates a connection to the history of the place. That connection is to both the Inn you are staying at and the area you are staying in. She is a true Inn Keeper rather than someone who provides short term room rentals and there is a world of difference between those two types of people. Her kindness was endless and we really enjoyed her ability to connect and then take care of business. The breakfasts were delicious and thoughtful including homemade dishes from local sources. Beds were comfortable, sitting areas were well supplied with games and books and rules were fairly and politely enforced so that all guests received the same great experience. One of our favorite all time stays!

Our stay at Jason's place was fantastic - check-in was flexible and easy, the property was easy to find and convenient to the surrounding area, the room was cozy, comfortable, and peaceful, and breakfast the next morning was exceptional. Jason was a responsive host, his breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, and his chef Wanita is an excellent cook. We won't hesitate to return the next time we visit the area!

We had a wonderful stay. The place is serene and so beautiful. Bjorn and Elaine are such a lovely couple, very accommodating and entertaining. The breakfast was perfect and coffee is amazing! Overall, I highly recommend this place.

This is a hidden gem 3 min from crotched mountain. The property is beautiful and everything is very well run. Owners were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed hanging out in the common areas. Dinner was a 10/10 and the service was great too. Definitely coming back in the summer.

Mary and Jim are wonderful hosts.They were very welcoming and made me feel at home. Jim prepared wonderful creative home made meals. I really enjoyed conversations about travel experiences and sitting by the fire with the pups! As a single traveler I highly recommend staying here. Bjorn and Elaine are wonderful hosts of a beautiful, historic site. The house itself is rich with lovely historic details including wide plank floors that one would never see, old glass, incredible wood beams, and more. Bjorn and Elaine could not have been more welcoming and kind. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we find ourselves at the beautiful lake in the future. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

The hosts were so nice! We weren’t there a whole lot because we had wedding things to do, but they were so welcoming and kind. Had a whole set up for breakfast, coffee, waters, etc and it was only my guest and I there. It made you feel really special. They gave us our space. We’re very attentive hosts. They offered for us to use the bonfires outside too! The history of the place was really cool. Each room downstairs had a working fireplace blazing and I wish I had time to sit down and cozy up with a book. They also gave us recommendations for trails near them and shopping suggestions. There wasn’t any Ubers in the area and the hosts actually gave us a recommendation for a car service, which came in clutch. First time staying in a bed and breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be booking again at 6 Chimneys.

Windy and Dean were awesome hosts. It is such a blessing for them to share their little slice of heaven with others. The home, location, beautiful landscaping and delicious breakfast makes for a wonderful experience.

A beautiful spot. A great room. Lots of outdoor spots to sit and relax. Awesome breakfast with choice for all tastes. My best Airbnb bed and breakfast ever. Can’t say enough about how great this place is.

This was our first B&B and it was AMAZING to stay in this BEAUTIFUL HISTORIC HOUSE! Bjorn and Elaine were incredible hosts!! Weekend Breakfast was divine and we enjoyed the carefree atmosphere and the fun conversations with them and other guests. Elaine and Bjorn are a wonderful couple. It felt like a fun family gathering in the kitchen. We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay. Our rooms were impeccably clean and cozy. I highly recommend staying here. Until the next time!
